I will Fight, until I Fall (Advanced)
"If we don't end the war, the war will end us"
The town was silent for the moment, the buildings frowned down upon the city. Chunks of stone, lied across the street. Tall tower's cast sinister shadow's on the sidewalks. There was no human life., that the eye could see. The silence was broken, by a small cry, splitting through the air, as it grew louder and louder. Increasing in speed, until the world around the target exploded. Debris flew through the air, and the ground shook. Another building cried in pain as it fell the ground. Siren's were heard in the distance, another bombing had begun.
Arrow sat in the small basment of an abandoned appartment, her rifle sitting next to her, untouched for the day. She looked up as dust particles fell onto her shoulders. She could feel the earth screaming in protest as another bombed touched the ground. Arrow didn't flinch, she didn't move. Her blue eyes gazing into the distance. She was now use to what was coming, the shake's of the buildings, maybe a couple of soldier's would march overhead her as they moved closer into the city, readying themselves for an on ground attack. Some of the city's important figure's had been evacuted, while the civilians stayed behind. Killing, or being killed.
She stood up, and made her way over to a high window. Standing on her tip-toes looking through the tiny rectangle. She adjusted to the outside light before seeing smoke, the bomb had hit closer to where she was than she expected. She took a step back and grabbed her rifle, and made her way upstiars through the destroyed appartment's. The outside was silent again, and she strained to hear any movement to find where the soldier's had gone, or if the bombing was over. She would never know when it was safe to come out. She waited for an hour, standing on a rotting piece of wood before deciding she was ready to come out.
Stealthily, she climbed out the door, as it was halfway open, and stuck like that. Her rifle swaying at her side, strapped to her back. She kept herself in the shadow's, knowing that just being in the street's could get her killed. The men awaiting any movement behind their sniper's waiting in the buildings. She should know, half the time she was behind that sniper. Suddenly the silence was broken, by a small cry, splitting through the air, as it grew louder and louder. Increasing in speed, until the world around her exploded.
Her vision blurred, she had not been expecting this, and she cursed herself. Getting herself up, thanking God that she hadn't been hit by any pieces of debris. Now was the moment she decided to get into a building, and start her shooting. She walked in, going to a spot, with a crumbling window. She set herself up, now it was just a waiting game.
She blinks, she has been waiting a long time. Three soldier's are standing in the street's. They had no idea, that she had them in her sight. Maybe they believe they're to far in the city to be in any line of fire. Well, they were very wrong about that. Maybe they believed no one was able to shoot a bullet around the tall buldings. Well, they were wrong about that too. She could kill any of them, both of them, whenever she decides. But she waited there, two clearly lowly soldier's didn't mean much to her. So she waitied
She wasn't worried about anyone finding her location. The burned out office tower carried a sort of promise to keep her out of line of fire. Also anyone looking would have a pretty rough time finding a young women, with her long black hair and bright blue eyes, the only sign of life in the tower. She had her stomach pressed to the floor, her legs covered in the shadows.
She only shoot's soldiers, they're the ones who destroyed the city. Shooting innocent men, women and children. They don't care who they kill, they want to kill the city. They might even succeed, everyone around her was being killed. Slowly but surely she and her own soldier's were picking them off, they knew the city better than anyone of them. But it wasn't fast enough.
She watches them awhile longer before another soldier comes out, the two young ones raise they're eyes and give a nod. Thats the nod she was waiting for, she aims her rifle at the newcomer. Her finger, that was resting against the trigger moves. A bullet goes flying, and hits her target, as she gets ready for her second shot she know's something has gone wrong. She abandones her post, quickly slinging her rifle over her shoulder, before realizing this was a trap, and she had fallen right into it. She knows though, that's she's killed someone important and now all that matters is getting out alive.
She hears a bullet fly past her and hit a post behind her, she runs now. Down the stairwell, jumping steps. She's two steps down before another one comes flying, but she doesn't hear the strike of it against the wood. Either it was missed, or she's been hit. But she doesn't stop to check. She see's the crumbling remains of the stairwell and jumps down, summersaulting onto the ground before she keeps running down the stair's before she finally gets to her exit, she runs out and looks down surprised to see that she was all in one peace. She slow's down, knowing that she was now away from any fire's. She makes her way towards the unit, the sky breaks into rain as she walk's her black hair plastering to her face.
She wonders to herself, that how she was unijured, did not bring any satisfaction to her, or sense of relief.

Re: I will Fight, until I Fall (Advanced)
Gun shots loudly rang all around him, agonizing screams of women and children being slaughtered erupted from every way possible, booming explosions rumbled in the distance. Black smoke arose from the ashes of the poor, miserable city. General Beau stood in the center of it, watching it unfold with a sinister smile upon his lips.
The young general stood with a soldier, yelling commands into a communication device in his right hand, and his left hand on the rifle strapped to his side. "Bomb on the twelve o'clock side, pronto." Explosions behind him confirmed his commands were carried through. Beau had been at this post for hours now, and was ready to get this pathetic raid over with.
Footsteps were the next thing he heard, and Beau knew exactly who it was. He turned, seeing that the newly arrived person was his father. "What are you doing here? You could get killed!"
His father, the president of Beau's home country, opened his mouth to speak, but a gun shot rang out when he was to speak. Blood splattered all over Beau's face. It wasn't his own, but his father's. "No!" The president's body fell to the ground. Beau turned towards the direction in which the bullet came from, and the soldier knew to shoot, but the figure whom had shot the bullet disappeared.
Beau decided to take matters into his own hands.
"Stay out there, and call for back-up!" He slung the door of the building the murderer went into open. Beau pounded up the stairs, gun ready to shoot. His feet climbed swiftly with each step, making a deep thump every time his foot hit the floor. Now the killer would know he was coming. The blue of his uniform was now splattered with his dead father's blood, and his hair now tousled everywhere. Bombs and screams still rang out everywhere, but Beau was focused on this one person. They would pay.
What was this person thinking? It couldn't run forever, and Beau never lost a fight. The murderer had no chance whatsoever. As he gained ground, a ear-piercing siren rang out. Now everyone the president was dead.
Reality closed in on Beau. His country would lose this war. Now with their president dead. But that wasn't enough to stop Beau. This was personal. He had to kill this one person, if only he could find them.

Arrow's black hair was plastered to her face as she heard the sirens rang out. The sudden noise shook through her entire body. Those were the siren's, the man she had just shot. He was one of the most important people in the country, the president. She quickly took off her sniper and threw it under debris that sat in the corner of the small room. That's where she always kept it, and it hadn't been found yet. She was shaking now, the reality was sinking into her of what she had just done. With the president dead, the enemies would have to retreat. They would be left in peace.
Arrow almost sank to her knee's, her job was done. Now, she didn't care what happened to her. She wouldn't care if the enemies found her now, although her just being a women they would pass her over quickly. Maybe she'd never even be a suspect if they caught her now. A small laugh escaped her lips, after these four years of killing, what was she going to do now? Nothing, she was just going to let herself be taken in by the way. This was what her whole life boiled down too. She looked up, hearing the stomping of boots. She had to get out here...she had to get out now.
She knew that if she was found here by them, she would be shot on sight. She started to scramble to her feet, getting ready to flee. The couple of seconds of complete bliss around her faded, the noises of the war had settled in again, bombs were still going off and the sirens kept screaming. She wished it would all just stop, she wished she could walk down the street with her husband, window shopping and eating at the cafe's with their child. All that was taken away from her now, he was dead. Killed by them. They stole her family from her, and now she had her revenge.
She climbed over a pile of wood that was in her path. She scurried out of the building her long black hair flying behind her. The rain was now hitting the ground hard. The ground shook as another bomb touched down, and she almost stumbled in her path by the force. She hated how useless she felt without her sniper but she gritted her teeth and kept going. She put her hood up, and her hands in her pockets trying to look like a fleeing civilian that they shouldn't bother. She sent up a quick prayer, hoping she would be spared or unseen as she made her way towards her unit, getting ready to give them the good news. After that, she would go to her apartment, and grab the handgun on her dresser that had been ready for her, ever since she vowed to get her revenge, and then end everything.
