Re: Soldier coming Home (Mature)
Evan smiled through the kiss, somewhat uncomfortable with her underneath him. He was, to some extent, concerned he’d end up hurting her. So, instead, Evan rolled off to the side gently and picked her up, seating her on his lap, sort of. He kept his hands behind the small of her back, just glad to have her close, to have her lips against his, her warmth mingled with his own warmth. It was a feeling he’d missed so desperately. His arms wrapped tighter around her waist, and he ignored the sounds of people talking from downstairs, the sound of the laughter, the sound of the clapping and the random ‘howls’ from the guys downstairs, as well as the popping tops of champagne bottles.
Evan didn’t care, however. She was with him, and he was with her. She was his, and he was hers. There was nothing else he could say about it. They were like two perfectly odd pieces of a puzzle, and there would—or simply even could—be no other person on the face of this big blue earth that would fit each other as perfectly as they did. A puzzle piece that didn’t fit its place could never be shoved in, no matter how forceful one was. It had to be perfect. And that’s what they had. Aden Ryans… It sounded great, to him. A part of Evan didn’t want to go where this was inevitably going until after they were officially married… but another part of him threw caution to the wind. He hadn’t seen her in way too long, and he just couldn’t wait to have her in his bed again.
It sounded like a stereotypical sort of guy thing to say: “to have her back in his bed again.” But it didn’t only mean sex, really. Men were capable of being lovers, too, you know. Just having somebody to snuggle up next to in bed, under the covers, and whisper words of love to each other until they both fell asleep engrossed in each other’s arms. Evan was capable—very capable—of being a lover. Aden knew this, he suspected. He picked her up gently and laid her on the bed, crawling on beside her and pulling her closely to his body, pressing his lips a couple more times upon hers, before pulling back. He chuckled lightly.
“You know, if we continue this I’ll become the bed beast,” Evan teased, pressing a gentle kiss on her forehead. In a whisper, he added, “And there ain’t no denying it, huh babe.”

Re: Soldier coming Home (Mature)
Her solider was home again in her arms. The though hadn't quiet settled its self into Aden's mind yet, neither had the fact that he put a ring on her finger and asked if she would marry him, it was all a dream, one glorious fairytale like dream, that she didn't want to wake up from.
Evan rolled off her and picked her up with him, so she was sitting in his lap, well kinda her legs were thrown over one of his own legs, arms still wrapped around his neck, one hand in his short hair. The kisses were loving and gently, that had a lazy matter to them, like it was settling down in them that they had each other again. Gone were the long nights praying that Evan would be ok and come home to her, he was home right where he belonged in her arms. A feeling she had missed terribly, being held by him as she held onto him and falling asleep in his arms.
Sighing contently Aden looked over at him as he laid her on the bed and crawled up next to her, settling into him she let out a sigh. Looking up at him she smiled with a light laugh "Uh huh you will" She teased back with a smile before just snuggling into his arms. "Just hold me..." She breathed out face pressed into his chest eyes closed. The sleep that she was so badly in need of that she had been fighting off, was slowly taking over her body the warmth from Evan wrapping around her like a blanket, the voices and sounds from below them were getting muffled and softer. With a sigh Aden fell asleep holding onto his shirt, face pressed into his chest.

Re: Soldier coming Home (Mature)
“I would be the biggest badass bed monster ever, no doubt about it,” Evan chuckled gently and wrapped his arms tighter around her, enjoying the sensation of her body pressed closely to his. He didn’t care anymore whether his parents would get pissed at him for not staying downstairs with his guests, but he was tired as hell and only wanted to be with Aden. He was sick and tired of being treated like royalty, even if it was because all the people that were downstairs drinking and having a good time were simply glad to see him return home safely from war. He appreciated their genuine concerns, but he didn’t need them. Wasn’t it enough to just say that he was home? But the more he thought about it, the happier he was that he got to see his old friends again.
When Aden told him just to hold her, he nodded and smiled. “I can do that, too.” Evan kissed the top of her head softly, sighing contentedly at the feeling of her curly hair against his face. It’d been so long…it felt like an eternity. And now he was officially getting married to Aden, and they could move out of his family’s house, start a life of their own, and, eventually, raise a family. Evan vaguely remembered Aden telling him about her perfect family, with the genders and names of the kids, how many kids, and the excruciatingly detailed vision of the perfect house, as well as where it’d be located. She had always wanted a rosebush garden, too. It all overwhelmed Evan at the time, but now that he thought about it, it sounded nice to him. They’d be alone and in love. What more could he ask for, really?
As soon as her breathing regulated and Evan knew she was asleep, he allowed himself peace-of-mind. He stroked her hair gently and murmured unintelligent things under his breath, sleep threatening to take over his drowsy mind. Closing his eyes, he let himself drift off into a very deep sleep, Aden cradled in his arms, his chin resting gently on the top of her head. He was so content……so content.

Re: Soldier coming Home (Mature)
Snuggled into him Aden sighed softly, everything was finely falling into place and happening. She was getting married to the man of her dreams and they could start a family together down the road, finely her life was great, more then great it was indescribable, she couldn't find the words. For so long she had dreamed of how her life was going to be, she had talked about her perfect family too Evan so many times as they laid out under the stars in the bed of his truck or cuddling on the couch or where ever really. She wanted three kids maybe four with a little girl and two boys, she had always dreamed of a house outside of town ,maybe a big old farm house with a few animals and a big garden. Aden loved roses and had always wanted a rosebush garden. She would make sure her kids lives wouldn't be like hers.
Sighing in her sleep Aden moved a little nuzzling herself more into Evan as she slept. Beth came up once to either drag Evan back downstairs or try to too, but when she found them both sound asleep, she smiled softly moving over to the windows and closed the curtain's so most of the light was out of the room, walking out of the dim room she smiled closing the door and went back down to the party.
It wasn't until late morning when Aden stirred, making a face she yawned nuzzling her face against Evan's chest as the girl slowly woke up. Yawning again she looked around the room blinking sleepily and smiled sleepily seeing Evan still sound asleep. Slowly she detangled herself from him and got to her feet, stretched with a soft groan and padded into the bathroom to shower. Closing the door with her foot she turned on the water and stripped, after a quick shower, or a quick shower to her standers. Wrapped a towel around herself, her wet curls dripping down her back and hanging around her face, she quietly slipped into her room, she had moved in with his parents just after they both graduated, getting dressed she glanced over at the clock and winced seeing the time. "Crap, Im going to be late if I don't get movin" She mumbled dressed in cut off shorts a white tank top with a plaid blue and green button up shirt over that, she left it unbuttoned. She just combed her hair quickly put some gel in it and just left it. She was almost out the door when she remember her camera "Wait....Where is it?" She scanned over her room and groaned not finding it "Maybe I left it in Evan's room.." She trailed off walking back into his room and smiled seeing it on the nightstand.
Aden had been quiet proud of herself, she had gone to collage, despite everything and had gotten a degree in photography, and now she had a little business, she did almost anything, took pictures at weddings, parties, did photo shoots, grad pictures, and for her own pleasure she would drive off to the middle of nowhere and take pictures ,she had even sold a few of them.

Re: Soldier coming Home (Mature)
When Evan woke up the next morning, the first thing he did was make sure that he was in his bed at his own home. However, when he woke up, Aden wasn’t next to him. Rolling over on his side, Evan checked the neon-colored numbers on the digital clock on his nightstand. It was two in the afternoon! Evan rolled out of bed and sat down on the side of the bed, rubbing his face. Aden must be at work. Evan walked into the bathroom and brushed his teeth, taking a quick shower before walking downstairs, still pulling a shirt over his head. Evan was curious as to whether his father was at work or not.
Walking into the kitchen, Evan poured himself some cheerios and sat down to eat the cereal. He ate his cereal, drank his OJ and walked outside. Evan walked back inside and sat down on the couch, turning on the TV. His mind wandered freely, not really paying attention to the TV. He was finally home. He couldn’t wait for Aden to get home. He wanted to tell his mom, first, though, that he and Aden would be moving out and be getting married.
The thought of the wedding made Evan smile. He couldn’t wait to get married to the woman of his dreams, and to finally start a family of their own. He was ready, after two years, to settle down. He would be so incredibly happy. The thought of the wedding made Evan even more impatient to tell his parents. He we afraid that his mother would start crying and go on about how her “little boy had grown up.” Of course he’d grown up! He grew up when he finished military training. That was hard…so very hard. But he was glad he served his country.
Finally Evan allowed himself he luxury of unwinding and listening to his TV program.

Re: Soldier coming Home (Mature)
Opening the door and walking in smiling to herself Aden kicked off her flats and looked around "Im home" She called camera around her neck her messenger bag resting on her left hip a StarBucks tea in her hand. "Evan?" She asked walking into the loving room and smiled seeing him sitting on the couch watching tv "Well good after noon Solider" She teased with a smile and raised her camera to her eye "Hold on don't move" Taking a few shots she grinned at him taking the strap from around her neck and walking over to him, setting the camera down on the coffee table along with her drink.
"How did you sleep?" She asked dropping her bag onto the table besides all her other junk, gave him a kiss then smiled. "You hungry?" She asked padding into the kitchen to find something to eat, grabbing a can of Dr.Pepper she popped the top and took a drink, pulling out stuff to make a sandwich, building her sandwich she glanced over at him still smiling to herself, it was amazing to have him home. " So I know you just got home and all but a bunch of us are going down to the lake in about a hour wanna come? It might be a good way to unwind" Putting everything away, she sat down on one of the stools next to the island and started eating looking over at him.
(Your fine, its better then mine >.<)

Re: Soldier coming Home (Mature)
[ xD Yours are always fine; don’t worry about it! ]
“Welcome home, babe!” Evan called, turning his head to look at Aden as she walked inside the house, putting her things down and situating stuff randomly. It all really looked like one big, disorganized mess, but it was normal for this family. To them (especially Evan and Aden) it was completely organized. Everything was easy to find if it wasn’t in its intended place, right? At least…Evan tended to think that way. He chuckled and shook his head after she took a few pictures of him, commenting, “Aden, I’m not a photo kind of guy! Why take a picture of a grungy veteran? I look much better in uniform.” Evan teased, turning the TV on mute.
“Nah, I’m not hungry. And do you know if Dad went to work today? I haven’t seen him. I haven’t seen Ma, either, actually…” Evan trailed off and nodded slowly at her offer. “The lake, huh? I haven’t been down there in ages. I think it would be nice to go. But you should be warned I’m going to push you in the lake if the opportunity rears its big, fat, ugly head.” Evan laughed before pushing himself off of the couch and walking over to Aden, draping his arms over her shoulders, his chin on her head, while she ate.
Sighing thickly, Evan said, “Hurry up and eat! I can’t give you a kiss when you have your mouth full of sandwich.” Evan chuckled again and went to the fridge, pulling out a Landshark beer, popping off the top, and taking a swig. He rested against the counter, placing the bottle in front of him and spinning it in circles with his fingers. “Hmm…I’ve been thinking about it all day. We’re actually going to get married. But you know, you have to tell me where and when. And who to invite. I’m dumpin’ the load on you, love.” Evan looked up at her, smiling, then commented, “Just kiddin’ ya. I’m thinking we should get married someday in April—two months away, right? I like April, it’s a good month. What say you, fairest maiden?”

Re: Soldier coming Home (Mature)
After she took a few pictures Aden laughed rolling her eyes at him "Sure you are, everyone in a photo kind of person when in the right setting" She teased and smiled "You do look rather handsome in your uniform..." She trailed off and smirked at him, leaning down and giving him a quick kiss before walking into the kitchen. "Um ya Im pretty sure Dads at work and Mom is either shopping or she went to that gallery she volunteers at all the time, I can't remember" Aden shrugged, she's been calling them mom and dad since high school when Evan and her started dating. They spent a lot of time just hanging around the house, Evan trying to teach her how to play Call of Duty or some other video game and Aden failing at it, it would end up Aden just messed around on the game while Evan actually really played it.
Making her sandwich she smiled glancing over at him when he said he'd go to the lake with her. Laughing she rolled her eyes again at him " Oh Im sure you will Evan" After she got everything put away, sitting on the stool eating her sandwich she tilted her head back a little and smiled at Evan before going back to eating as he had his arms around her shoulders his chin resting on the top of her head. Rolling her eyes with a smile Aden took a big bit just to annoy Evan a little, before swallowing and grinning at him. "Sure you can kiss me, it'd just taste like a turkey sandwich" She was in a good mood, the photo shoot had went smoothly, she was going to the lake and Evan was home and best of all they were getting married.
Taking a drink of her pop she looked over at him and smiled easily nodding then just gave him a look " Gee thanks" She said in a dry tone but she had a smile on her lips and her eyes were shining then listened to him and let out a breath "April? You think we can get everything planed out and ready in two months? I mean Im all for it, but thats gonna be a lot of work babe, and you just got home." She pointed out finished eating and got to her feet, put her dishes in the sink and downed the rest of her pop before tossing it into the recycle bin and looked over at him blowing stray curls out of her face with a light smile on her lips. "You think about it and I'll think about it while I change" She moved over to him gave him a kiss before heading up the stairs to change and grab a couple things for the lake.
(Haha thanks (: I'll get to Truthless! I just felt like doing this one first )

Re: Soldier coming Home (Mature)
[ ‘kay, that’s perfectly fine! :D you never cease to amaze me, lol xD ]
Evan chuckled. “Turkey sandwich kisses? I don’t think I’ve ever had one of those kisses before,” Evan teased before moving away from her and sitting down at the other chair that was pulled up to the island. He took another swig of his Landshark and began to ponder what she’d said. He knew that it was only two months, but he didn’t really care. In all honesty, Evan had always wanted a private wedding, but he was willing to sacrifice his wants for those of his lovely bride-to-be. Looking up from his beer into the eyes of his curly-haired fiancé, he shrugged.
“Yeah, I know I just got home, but I’ve been away for two years, and two months sounds like two centuries to me at the moment. All I want to do is get married and settle down somewhere with you…somewhere away from my parents. I guess I’m over-eager in marriage. I never thought I’d be the kind of guy to say that!” Evan laughed at himself before shaking his head slowly. “But…it’s up to you, sweetheart. I really don’t care. If you want to postpone it, feel free to. I’ll let you pick whatever month and whatever day you want to have our wedding on.” Evan smiled gently before getting up and wrapping his arms around her waist, returning her kiss gently. When she said she was going upstairs to change, Evan had to restrain himself from making a somewhat perverse comment. Evan loved teasing her; everybody knew that.
Now wasn’t the time, he decided, sitting back down at the island and taking another sip from his bottle of beer. His mind flitted from one thought to another, all about the wedding and about Aden. He couldn’t wait to see her walking down the aisle in a long, flowing dress with a veil covering her beautiful features, a bouquet of her favorite type of flowers in her hands. Smiling to himself gently, Evan finished off his beer, put it in the recycling bin, and walked upstairs to get his own clothes to change into. The lake meant swimming, and though Evan hadn’t swum in a while, he still remembered that swimming wasn’t to be done in regular shorts.
In the war, if they had to cross water, they did it with their clothes on. All of them. Long, olive-green pants, their heavy gear, and the long-sleeved jackets. Shaking the thoughts from his head, Evan walked into his room to change into swimming trunks and a regular shirt, following the look up with his favorite pair of extremely old sandals that Aden always complained about. He admitted they were old, but he didn’t plan on replacing them anytime soon, like Aden wanted. Chuckling again, Evan continued to get ready to go the lake with his fiancé.

Re: Soldier coming Home (Mature)
Leaning against the counter Aden looked at Evan listening and shoving hair back out of her face, and laughed lightly with a amused look on her face. "Oh no, I would have never though you'd be over eagered to get married" She teased with a gin then let out a breath thinking about it, she was feeling a little overwhelmed with it all, she was thrilled that they were really getting married and going to really start a life together but still she was feeling overwhelmed. "Alright thanks, I'll think about it" She smiled lightly over at him moving over and smiled a little more as he wrapped his arms around her waist and returned her kiss.
Pulling away Aden smiled at him before walking up the stairs into her room still thinking about the wedding and when she wasn't it, it was going to be nothing big, she wanted a simple and sweet wedding, maybe outside, all she knew was she wanted there to be dancing and that she wanted to get married to Evan. Shaking her head she closed the door room with her foot and peeled off her shirt tossed it onto the bed and changed into her favorite bikini top, the one that was black with neon paint splattered all over it, she pulled on the bottoms that matched then her cut offs again then a white tanktop. Putting towels and a couple other things into her beach bag Aden walked out of her room in flip-flops, hair still up with curls falling around her face, sunglasses on the top of her head.
Walking to his room she leaned against the door frame looked him over and smiled until she saw the old sandals and made a face. "I though I threw those out" She grumbled still with a face. They were old and looked so old and nasty, Aden had tried to threw them out many times but some how or another Evan always found them or managed to buy them back from the places she had donated them too.
Heaving out a sigh Aden looked at him "Ready to leave?" She asked looking back at his face with a smile until she remember his truck was a mess. "Oh shit!" She gasped out and raced down the stairs into the kitchen grabbed a trash bag and darted outside to where his truck sat in the driveway. Aden had been driving his truck around ever since her old car died and Evan wasn't there to fix it again...She tended to be a little more messy when it came to cars, Evan was one that kept his truck spotless and would always get on her about keeping her car cleaner. Yanking open the door Aden groaned seeing the mess that was in the truck, empty bottles were laying all over the floor, trash and her stuff scattered all over the place from a pair of jeans to earring that she had taken off. "Hes going to kill me" She grumbled but still started to throw trash and everything else into the trash bag.

Re: Soldier coming Home (Mature)
Evan smiled at Aden and started to follow her out, when she cursed loudly and ran out of the room. Evan raised an eyebrow at the place where she’d just been and shook his head affectionately. “What’d you do this time, babe?” Evan muttered to himself before grabbing the bag with his towel, sunglasses, and other necessities in it before heading out to see Aden practically shoveling garbage out of his truck into a garbage bag. Evan’s mouth dropped and he shook his head again, this time in a less affectionate way. Oh well, Evan thought to himself, Can’t say I wasn’t expecting it… but I can still punish her.
Evan dropped his bag and ‘stormed’ over to her, grabbed her by the waist, took the trash bag from her hand, and carried her over his shoulder back into the house before dropping her on the couch. “You junked up my truck, you!” Evan said before reaching down and tickling her. He tickled her for a few minutes before straightening up and grinning. “Well, honestly, it’s cleaner than I expected it to be.” Evan walked back outside before shouldering his bag, putting the rest of the trash into the garbage bag, disposing of the garbage back, and hopping into the front seat.
“Come on, toots,” Evan called. “I’m gonna leave without ya! Not that you wouldn’t deserve it,” Evan joked before buckling his seatbelt in and waiting for Aden to join him in the passenger’s seat. He looked at the steering wheel in seemingly disbelief. Was he finally home? This wasn’t a dream, that much he knew, but he felt like he’d been gone so long that he no longer fit in this family….he only fit with Aden. His mother and father…he loved them dearly, and they seemed ecstatic to have him home, but… 2 years…was that too much for his mind?
He was stronger than that. Hell, he’d gone off to war, come back with irreparable scars, and a stronger will than he’d had ever before in his whole life. Was it his independence? Did he no longer need anyone? Did he even need Aden…? What the hell was he talking about?! He needed Aden. He wouldn’t be Evan without Aden. He’d never be anyone without Aden. Shaking his head to get rid of the unnerving thoughts from his mind and smiled grimly. He was home, he was welcome, and he was in need of his family! Sighing, Evan looked out the window as his fingers curled around the steering wheel tightly.

Re: Soldier coming Home (Mature)
Shoving trash into the bag Aden grumbled under her breath to herself trying to hurry and wondering why she hadn't done this before he had gotten home. Quickly she was shoving trash into the bag, but it with her stuff mixed in she was having too stop and grab things before they ended up in the trash bag that was already filling up quickly. A surprised yelp came from her when Evan 'stormed' over and grabbed her around the waist, taking the trash bag from her then threw her over his shoulder before she could get a word out.
She squealed when he dropped her onto the couch Aden looked up at him trying hard not to laugh only to burst out laughing "Evan!" She cried out trying to grab his hands laughing hard squirming on the couch, she was still trying to grab his hands laughing hard until he finely stopped leaving her panting for air and scrambled to sit up with a playful glare "Oh ha ha!" She shot back scrambling to get to her feet as he strolled out the door again. "Oh it's on now! Thats right walk away" She called after him still trying to catch her breath and laughing every now and then as she looked for her sunglasses, grabbing them she walked back outside, picking up her flip flops that had fallen off and rolled her eyes at him. "Oh hold your horses" She mumbled walking back over to the truck picked up her bag and tossed it into the passenger side before hopping into the truck and closing the door letting out a breath.
Looking over at him with a playful grin Aden noticed how he was gripping the steering wheel, his jaw was slightly clenched and the grim smile on his lips. Aden wasn't sure what was going on in his head but she figured it had something to do with being home and adjusting to everything. Back against the door Aden smiled looking at him "Hey you.." She poked his side with her barefoot still smiling "Yeah you, the handsome soldier. Can we get to the lake before the sun goes down?" She asked still smiling and poking him in the side with her foot. "I could drive...." She trailed off now grinning, Evan was picky with who he let drive his truck and they were dating for over a year before he let her drive it for the first time and the whole time he was hovering over her telling her where things were, that she was going to fast, to slow and everything. And she doubted he was going to let her drive now but it was still fun asking. "Ya know, if you've forgotten how to drive or don't want too...." She trailed off with a laugh smiling brightly.

Re: Soldier coming Home (Mature)
[ I FINALLY got my act together! ]
Evan looked over at her while she commented on him not having to drive. He laughed out loud before saying good-humoredly, “You’d like that, wouldn’t you?” Evan pulled the car out of park and moved down the driveway and onto the street. He looked at the back seat, only to see trash still piled up. “I love the tomboy touch you added to my truck. It smells heavenly in here,” Evan shook his head affectionately.
It took half an hour to reach the lake (thanks to really bad traffic—apparently everyone had somewhere to be this afternoon) and he parked his truck in the grass. Sighing quietly—he loathed traffuc00before taking the keys out and glancing over to Aden. He leaned over to Aden, putting his lips close to her ear and saying, “Guess what? You get to clean up the truck when we get home. If you do a good job, I may even let you drive!” Evan tilted his head, putting his finger under her chin and moving her head to face him before pressing his lips gently on hers. Damn, he’d missed her. He’d carried a picture of her inside his army hat whenever he was sent out onto the field. He considered her his own guardian angel. She looked like an angel, too. Everything about her was just perfect. He still didn’t understand why she hated her hair so much.
Pulling back, he grabbed both of their bags and got out of the car, closing the door behind him. He smiled when he saw the rest of the people who were coming. He couldn’t wait to just sit back, grab a beer and relax, swim a little, and chat with the people he’d missed for two very long years. He was also excited to announce to the family his official engagement with Aden. He just hoped his mother wouldn’t start crying—though he knew it was likely. Shaking his head, he turned back to Aden. When she was close enough, he dropped the bags lightly on the ground and wrapped his arms around her waist, resting his forehead gently against hers. “I’m finally home, huh babe?” He smiled, “How do you think Momma’s going to react when we announce our engagement? Knowing Dad, he’ll probably give me a premarital lecture. ‘I don’t want any grandkids until after you’re married, ya hear me? And if it’s a boy you should name it after me!’” Evan chuckled as he thought of how everyone would react. Sighing again, he commented, “I really don’t want to let you go. I think I miiiight just keep you right here. I love you, sweetheart.” He planted a gentle kiss on her forehead.

Re: Soldier coming Home (Mature)
Smiling sweetly at him Aden tried to keep a straight face as he laughed but finely she couldn't anymore and laughed with a grin "Yes I would" She answered poking his side with her foot again still laughing a little as be backed out of the driveway. She winced a little when he looked in the back but smiled innocently at him, like she didn't know how all that trash and crap got in the back seat only to smile brighter at his comment "Thanks! IT really adds to the truck don't ya think?" She asked teasing gently poking his in the side again with her foot as she leaned against the door.
It took them around a half hour to get to the lake, because apparently everyone in town had someplace to go that afternoon. Evan parked in the grass and sighed before taking the keys out, smiling Aden sat up about to open the door when she felt Evan's breath against her ear and shivered from it holding still. "Huh?" She asked and groaned as he went on, "Alright fiiiiiinnnnnnneee" She dragged the words on dramatically with a pout as he put a finger under her chin and moving her to face him, the pout on her lips left when he kissed her softly. God Aden as missed him so much, he was her rock, her other half and for two long years he had been gone. It had been hard at first doing things without Even there with her, but after a while she got used to it but now that he was home? She felt better complete again. God how she loved him.
He pulled back and grabbed their bags before she could, getting a soft chuckle from her as she opened the door and jumped down from the truck closing the door with a light slam. Walking over to Evan she smiled pushing stray curls out of her face, only to laugh when he dropped the bags and wrapped his arms around her, smiling softly she rested her hands lightly on his shoulders. Forehead rested against his "Yeah your finely home" She smiled and laughed softly as he talked, only to laugh harder "Yeah that sounds like your dad alright, and Im sure your mama is going to cry, then make a big deal out of the wedding. You know how she loves a good party and well her baby boy getting married is a big deal" She teased gently still laughing softly and smiled looking up at him. Smiling Aden slipped her arms around his neck and kissed his softly "I love you too Solider boy, now come on" She unwound her arms from his neck and grabbed his hand.
Grabbing the bags she smiled pulling Evan down to the beach with their friends on it. "Hey guys!" She called with a wave smiling. Randy grinned and waved "Evan it's good to see ya man" He called over as others smiled and waved back as Aden pulled Evan over to them smiling still. Setting the bags down Aden smiled before letting go of Evan's hand to go hug Abby and squealed softly smiling brightly and hugged her tightly. "He proposed...again!" Abby squealed and hugged tighter smiling "Thats great! Let me see the ring!" Letting go Aden held out her hand showing the ring both girls smiling brightly and squealing again. The guys chuckled shaking then heads before looking at Evan "Congrats man" Randy clapped him on the back with a grin and shook his head again from the squeals and chatter coming from the girls. "This could go on for awhile"

Re: Soldier coming Home (Mature)
Evan nodded slowly, “Yes… she cried the first time, too, didn’t she? Ah well… this time the engagement is official… We’ll soon be married and be able to grow old together, huh?” Evan laughed at the prospect of him being old, but he knew it was going to happen someday. His prime wasn’t going to last forever, no matter how much he wanted it to. He was still convinced, though, that Aden would be the most beautiful woman he’d ever see, even in her old age, when the time came. “Oh, come on, you ruin my fun,” Evan teased, tickling Aden gently before grabbing the bags quickly and allowing Aden to lead him down to the beach. He dropped the bags off by the lawn chairs that had been set up and was quickly pulled over to Abby and Randy. Evan winced slightly when the girls began to squeal, but still, a smile spread across his lips. “Yeah… that’s my girl,” Evan murmured to himself as the two girls started to squeal yet again. He turned when he felt Randy clap him on the back.
He chuckled and said, “Yes…I won’t be sent off to war this time. We’ll actually get to have a wedding,” Evan shook his head, “You’ll have to be my best man, eh, Randy?” Evan sighed and stared down at his feet, inspecting the flip-flops Aden hated so much and had desperately tried so many times to get rid of. Snapping out of it, Evan laughed and turned to Randy again, “I’d rather have the two squealing girls than have a crying mother and a father giving me the ‘official premarital lecture.’ I was talking to Aden earlier about what he’d say.” Evan shook his head, looking over to his truck just beyond some bushes and a tall oak tree with a rope tied to it for swinging into the water on. “Aden totally trashed my truck while I was gone, though.” Evan was speaking more to himself than to Randy, but finally broke out of his trance and turned his attention back to the crew.
“How’ve things been going for you, Randy? It’s been two years…a lot can happen in that span of time. Talked to one of the other guys at the welcome-home party and he’s ‘bout to be a father soon. Scary to think that could be one of us kids soon, huh?” Evan grinned, running a hand through his shaggy hair.
[ DX OH MY LORD IT’S SO SHORT!! D; I’m really sorry… My brain just pooped on me. ]

Re: Soldier coming Home (Mature)
Chuckling Randy stood beside Evan arms folded over his chest loosely grinning and shook his head watching the two girls squeal more and hug each other while talking a mile a minuet. "I would run to Vagues while you still can" He teased with a grin before glancing back at Evan with a cocky grin "Well duh" He said with a roll of his eyes and looked back at the girls, before glancing back at Evan and laughed "Ahhh yes like we already don't know about makin babies and that mama would skin us alive if that happened before the day" He shook his head again with a low chuckle only to laugh slugging Evan in the are playfully "What did you expect? That girl leaves her stuff all over town" They all knew it, Aden scattered her things and well she would forget things, leaving something at a store, it was a good thing it was a small town other wise Aden would be having to bye a knew phone eery two weeks or so it seemed like. now Aden was like a sister to Randy and told Evan he would watch out for her.
Grinning Randy nodded "Yeah thats scary as hell thinking we'll have our own kids running around soon causing trouble and running wild through out the town like we did. But I got engaged" A smile came to Randy's lips as he looked at the girls and nodded to Abby "Asked her to marry me four months ago. Already got that talk from both her dad and mine and both moms have cried and fused about this. They've put their heads together with Abbs and Aden's and man it's scary" But the smile never left his face as he talked watching Abby talk and laugh with Aden.
Laughing Aden walked back to the boys with Abby "So what'cha talking about?" Aden asked smiling brightly arms linked with Abby's. "not much mostly how you trashed Evan's truck" Randy teased and Aden gave him a look smacking him in the chest "I didn't trash it! I just added too it" She justified holding her chin high as Abby laughed beside her "OH yeah you added a lot too it Aden" She teased poking her in the ribs getting a jumping squeal from Aden before she poked Abby back. Randy shook his head at them and grinned at Evan " I think they look hot, don't you? I think they need to cool down" He lunged at Abby who yelped and let out a squealing cry as Randy tossed her over his shoulder and strolled down to the dock. Aden jumped back looking at Evan "You love me..." She said starting to walk backwards hands out in front of her as Abby squealed and cried out while Randy laughed

Re: Soldier coming Home (Mature)
Evan laughed at Randy’s comment, “Hah, some days that sounds like a good idea, man. Don’t tempt me!” Evan teased, giving Randy the ‘evil-eye’ at his cocky comment, “Of course, I’m sure you were expecting this all along, weren’t you, big guy?” Evan chuckled and shook his head. “Not like I’d have chosen anyone else.” Evan looked over at the two girls, who seemed to still be enthralled, looking at each other’s rings and talking about God-knows-what. Without looking back at Randy, Evan commented, “Yeah, seriously. I love how my dad thinks it’s necessary to explain to me everything… I mean, I’m not 17 anymore.” Evan shook his head, knowing Randy was so incredibly true it was scary. “I expect her to clean it up, now,” Evan said good-humoredly, turning his attention to Randy and away from the two giggling girls.
“Yeah, seriously,” Evan commented, furrowing his brow and shaking his head slowly. “It’s gonna be crazy around here when we have kids, y’know? Two more of us, and the world’s gonna go down in flames,” Evan teased, smiling when Randy said he got engaged. “That’s great news. Congrats, man!” He kept a laugh back when he commented about having the talk and putting their heads together with Abby and Aden, and that being scary. Evan couldn’t argue: it was a scary prospect, but he hadn’t been here to witness or hear it.
Evan had been about to say something when Aden walked up, “Ah, yeah, well, what Randy said,” Evan commented quietly, laughing when Aden said she just ‘added to it.’ Evan waved his hands in mock-defeat, “Yeah, you know, Randy? She just added her tomboy touch to my favorite vehicle. It smells simply delightful now. You really ought to go check it out,” Evan said sarcastically, turning back to the two girls. Evan cast a sideways glance at Randy when he commented on the girls looking hot. “You know, they do, don’t they?” Evan laughed as Abby cried out as Randy tossed her over his shoulder and walked down the dock as if nothing exciting was going on, despite the squealing and flailing Abby on his shoulder.
Evan laughed aloud, “Yes, dear, I do love you! Exactly why I want you to cool down before you get too hot!” Evan grabbed Aden around the waist and lifted her up off the ground, placing her gently on his shoulder and heading down the dock with Randy and the still-squealing Abby, before chuckling. “It’s okay, dearest, you’ll be cool soon enough!” Evan walked to the end of the dock and made to put Aden down, when instead, at the last moment, he tossed her into the lake and laughed. “Feeling any better now, sweetheart?” Evan asked once she had resurfaced. “You don’t look as hot anymore. That’s a good thing, right Randy?”
