Soilder snuggled closer, letting a small murr (things animals do.) rise in his throat. He kept close her, glad to feel her by his side, and with her what seemed like forever. His heart beat fast, and he suddenly felt embarssed she could hear it but he didn't move, letting her rest on him. He was glad she was with hem. She was happy she felt safe with him. He'd protect her for everything, like he did with his sister.

Lylas head was pressed lightly on his chest, and she could faintly hear the thump of his heart. Soon, the begining of Golden sunlight filtered through the small cave entrance, the cave still dark other than the small rays of sunlight that were hardly able to get through the crack. Lyla licked Soldiers ears, and slowly stood up, untangling her limbs with his, and giving herself a good shake.

Soilder woke up when he felt a nice and wet tounge on his ears. Lifting himself and streaching down, as if he were bowing and giving himself a whine, and trotted out into the sunlight, sunshine shinning in his fur. He looked at Lyla and barked a good morning bark, his tounge lolled out and he yawned. He looked into the meadow that surrounded them the dew from the rain still on the grass and walked out on it.

Lyla moved to the crack entrance of the cave, and squeezed her way out, wiggling through the small space and pulling herself through without much trouble. She blinked a few times, getting used to the bright sunlight, and wagged her tail happily as she spotted Soldier. Giving a yip of happiness, she broke into a lope, catching up to him, her paws getting soaked from the dew that covered the grass around them.

Solider smiled and looked at Lyla. "Hi, Lyla," he said gently flicking his tail to the herd which was over by the river. "Would you like to hunt with me?" he asked, cocking his head. The sweet smell of the deer called his name but he kept still, waiting like a gentleman, quietly. Too quiet and then... his stomach growled. He looked away, embarrsed.

Lyla cocked her head, and grinned at him, pushing his head against his side, ears laid back, as she was relaxed. "Duh silly boy!" She jested, giving him a lick and then taking off, powerful hind legs propelling her over the ground, and she yipped to make sure he was coming.

Soilder grinned and barked speeding after her. Having to have two wolves would be so much easier to take down a big kill like that. Soilder knew that. He slowly kept down when he got near the buck he spotted, lipping to Lyla for her to go to the other side. It was grazing and huge enough for the two of them.

Knowing what to do, Lyla obediently circled to the other side of the enormous buck, silently parting through the tall grass. Her amber eyes focused intently on the prey, mouth watering slightly. As she fell into position, She glanced to Soldier for instruction, knowing that he was the male, and that he called what and when to hunt. Her ears pricked upwards, intent upon the huge buck, hidden in the long grass, breathing without a single sound to give them away.

Soilder waited silently. Even though his breathings were steady, his heart was racing. He looked around to see Lyla was in right position and gave a slight nod of approval before slinking slowly through the grass telling her to do the same from the other side, lifting his haunches in the air he yelled, "Go!" Springing in the air, he clung onto the other side. He saw the rest of the herd start to leave as the buck started to show its whites and buck wildly.

With a snap of her powerful jaws, Lyla leaped out of the grass, her eyes wide, claws already out. She pounced onto the deer's back, and sunk her jaws into his neck, growling and tearing at the flesh. Her claws dug into its sides to stay on as the powerful animal bucked and wheeled.

[I'm about to play wolf quest!]

Soilder snapped at its stomach, blood pouring on his muzzle. Suddenly, it went stiff and fell to the ground. Before it did, Soilder jumped off and landed with a thump, looking back at Lyla, grinning. "Great job!" he said. He looked at the buck, now a carcass and looked at Lyla. "You first." he said and bowed his head backing away.

Lyla grinned at him, but whimpered slightly. "No." She jumped over the deer's body and stood next to Soldier, nudging him forward with her muzzle softly. Her Amber fur had specks of blood in it, and she shook herself off, her muzzle full of the red liquid.

Soilder looked at her and shook her head slightly. "No, Lyla..." he whispered quietly, licking her ear. "Just go." Looking at her, he wondered why he would just be rude and let her eat last. He was never like that to female's. Well, his sister. He sat down and wasn't planning to move until her stomach was nice and full.

Lyla rolled her eyes, then sat down next to him, taking on his own posture. She glanced away from the freshly killed deer, and her eyes looked into his. "Eat with me?" She asked, her tail wagging slightly behind her, amber fur shining over her sleek muscular form.

Soilder turned to her, meeting her gaze for a few seconds before looking at the meat when she asked the question then nodded, pushing his head against her. "That sounds more like it." he smiled and walked over to the meat waiting for her to join him to he could start to dig into the flesh which went straight up his nose.

Lyla followed him up to the carcass, then lowered her head to the meat, her eyes still trained on his face. Placing her paw delecatly on the deer's side, she opened her jaw and sunk her teeth into the warm flesh, tearing it open for easier access. She had just opened the best part of the deer, and pushed Soldier over to it.

Soilder watched as she digged into the meat with her strong jaws and pass it to him. Leaning down, he got the favorite part of it with the most juiciest meat and threw it to her and bent down eating thankfully and after done, he stopped and waited for her to eat. Quietly and patiently.

Lyla didn't bother to argue, she knew it was hopless. But she ate the warm flesh, tearing into the deer, blood coating her muzzle and jaws. After she was finished, the large carcass laid open, and she licked her chops before whining happily, her golden eyes glancing to Soldiers.

Soilder's eyes met hers and then his eyes instantly shone their brightest. Tredding over to her, he rubbed his head rubbed his head over her crown and kept it there, whimpering with affection. He felt something inside for her and by ever small beat of his heart, how fast it was, it just raced faster when she was around and then, he started: "I l-love you." He hoped that didn't scare her or anything but he knew loved her and wanted her by his side til he grew old with their pups, and went to join The Great Constillations. (sp?)

Lyla rubbed her head against his, closing her eyes breifly in sheer happiness. She could hear his soft hearbeat, his matching hers perfectly, how odd that was. When he spoke, her eyes opened, widening slightly. That feeling, that- She suddenly knew what it was! She pushed her face into his fur, slightly embarrased, but managed to mumble, "Soldier.... I feel the same way."

Soilder smiled and gasped quietly when she heard those three words he was hoping to hear. He moved away and touched muzzles with hers. Eyes meeting hers, he looked more serious, only a little more. "Be my mate and together, me and you could have pups, and grow old together til we join heaven." he whispered quietly, hoping she would accept.

Lyla's eyes fell in embarrasment, but she knew, she knew what the answer would be. She summoned the courage to raise her eyes, and she looked into his. Her eyes told the answer, happy, but to clarify it, she spoke. "Of course."

Soilder looked and stepped back moving over to press against her soft fur licking her ear. "Sha'll we find a new territory and start a pack, or shall we do oppisite and be just with pups and us two?" he asked gently. That was her decision to make, not his because he'll do whatever, either way. And as he waited for an answer, he wondered about both futures.

Lyla smiled. "I dont care." She said, and she really didn't. All she knew is that she wanted to be with him,forever and ever. She reached forward, licking his nose slightly, with a happy whimper.

Soilder smiled and chuckled. "We can't seem to choose for each questions that are asked." But he was happy for that, it proved how deeply in love they were and proved how much they didn't care for eithers opinion. But soon, they'd have to pick. "What would you want the most, love." He siad pressing more against her.
