Lunar looked slightly suprised. He nodded once, then looked at the other mares, wondering who was willing. He thought Anna would be a great leader and protecter, standing beside him through anything. He shook his head. But she could also be completly different.

Lunar shook his head. "There is a fifty fifty chance with everyone here." He said, stomping a hoof on the ground and swishing his long white tail.

Miranda sighed and walked too a pond, she looked at the cocky, stubborn, childish horse in the water, why couldnt it have been the lovely, sweet, caring horse she had been, what if another herd would be too much for her?

Lunar followd Mirranda. "You know that's the truth. I need someone strong and able to fight..." He nuzzled her softly. "I think you are best being in the herd." That was how herds worked. They grew bigger, the stallion the only male that stayed in the herd, the young males kicked out to find thier own mates. The stallion bred the mares, so that the herd would grow biger and stronger/

Lunar lowered his head. "I'm sorry, but I think you know why." He nuzzled her sweetly. "I still like you you know, you just cant be a leader."

(Nice stuff going on guys! Sorry I could not answer sooner but nice action. I like the fighting part, oh and ps I'm a bit hipper.)

During the fight~

Babe was sound a sleep in till she heard a screeching neigh. Her body rose and her ears flew back wards. She watched a blood covered stallion turn to run, running past Lunar she chased the brown stally away nipping at him harshly then turning to gallop back to the others. She stood and smiled.

Latter on~

She grazed along side the trees thinking about what lunar had said. For some reason being around these horses and in a begging her she felt like she could be herself for once and have a good time.

Lunar trotted up to Babe. "Sorry you missed the action.." He said sheepishly, nuzzling her cheek with his muzzle.

"That you were looking for a mate and about your question my answer is yes. I would love to lead a herd to food, safety, water, and love them. I think it would be nice to have a great big family." Her smile widen looking at him. "But there would be lone stallions to watch out for but I wouldn't mind helping by leading the herd to safety while you fought, I wouldn't mind fighting myself as long as the herd is safe and happy. It would be my houner just to lead them." She said looking him in the eye awaiting his answer.

Lunar smiled, nodding his head. "You do seem eager. Personally, I think you would be a great leader." He stopped, cocking his head. "But you know how herds work,dont you?" He asked, wondering if she could handle him breeding other mares.

The corner of his mouth jerked, showing a slight smile. "I pick you." He said softly, eyes twinkling. And to prove to all of the horses in the area that these were his mares, his herd, He reared, eyes flashing, hooves slicing through the air, head tossing and mane flowing out behind him. As he landed, he gave Babe a playfull nip.

Her ears pricked, "Really?!" She said and looked at him. After he reared she did so to showing she was lead mare and ain't no body going to hurt her head. (Lol sassy) She landed and nuzzled him before pulling on his fore lock gently in a playful way.

Lunar looked at Anne, but he knew that Babe could take care of a herd, not just be a tag along mate. Lunar now had a mismatched heard of 3 mares, and he was gratefull for that. With a snort of indignation, he nipped her withers with a playful smirk on his face.

She nipped his back playfully. Her in heat sent wanted out but she kept it in showing respect and true love.

Lunar knew Anna would probobly be mad at him, but he knew he had made the right desision. WIth a playfull nip, he thew his head up into the air, pawing the ground.

She bobbed her head and nipped him playfully before jogging away from him and to the herd. She looked back at him with a smile before reaching the other mares and making sure all was here.

Lunar lowered his head, sniffing the clover halfheartedly. Not hungry, he followed after Babe to check on the small herd.
