She sighed and looked back at Anna and being a big girl she said, "Maybe you picked to soon..." She said not crying but trying to not make things worse tho inside she felt sad but knew Anna deserved him more, "Anna please at least come with us, you'd be a great worrier." She said looking back at her with sorrow.

Lunar didn't understand though... "Babe, its the same with both of you! But if I pick one or the other, someone is going to be pissed off and go ruin thier life!" He snorted. "What do you feel?"

"Be with her." She said holding her feelings back. "I promise I won't ruin my life, we'll still see each other and have foals I just won't be lead mare."

Lunar shook his head. "But you're capable for lead mare. Is it possible for me to love two mares?" He sighed, exasperated with himself.

Anna looked at him. "I'm gonna proably going to have to get used to this, if you don't choose me. Think, put your heart together, and just listen to it." She said, meeting his gaze. Whoever he does pick, she'll have to live with it whoever he picks.

Lunar shook his head, eyes darting to the two mares. Getting up off of the grass, he trotted away, needing to clear his head and think. His lead mare didn't have to be his mate, did she?

As Lunar traveled peacefully through the woods, he stopped, turning and pacing near the riverside. He thought he had made up his mind, but still doubted his desision. Trotting back, he stopped near the spot the two mares seemed to be waiting.

Anna grazed quietly then lifted her head when she heard trotting. "What decision have you made?" she asked quietly, eyes locked on his, head straight, calmness.

He stared straight into her eyes. "I dont know how you would be as a leader. Babe has already taken charge. I think I will leave that job with her." Pausing, he swished his tail, glancing at Babe. "I love you both, and always will. But I think one needs me more than the other..." His eyes flitted to Annas.
