Lightning nodded and shuddered. "Hopefully I do." he laughed. He touched noses with her. "We will meet again?" he asked, to reassure her.

"Yes, soon." She smiled. "Stay here." She ran up the trail, gathered herds and chewed them, spit them on his wounds and told him to eat a leafy plant.

Lightning did as told and chewed up the leaf. The pain ebbed away slowly and he thanked her with a shoulder lick.

Lighning nodded and put his head to hers. "OK." he promised and lied down. "I think I'll go into the moorland in a min. You can go. I promise I won't kill myself."

storm canter softly after her adn had heard every word she had said to the other stud. he stood watchign them, as a stone statue. hurt and anger swelled in his chest. he was twice the size of both pokey an dlighting. he couldnt believe she had tryed to double crosss him even as he pored his heart out to her. the wind blew his mane and tail around him like steal fire

She saw Storm. "Storm! I-...... YOu know if you two would just give me a chance I wouldn''t have to do this!" She rushed up to Storm and looked at him, pleading.

Lightning looked up at Storm. "Uh..." he stammered. He narrowed his eyes at Pokey. "Fine! Fine! Go with him see if I care! You can have her!"
He walked off, obiously he was lying but no one, NO ONE noticed. He was good at it. He knew he would see Pokey again... he knew.

Poky winked at Lighting, and ONLY Lighting could see it. "Yeah! GO run away Lighting, see if I care!" She gave him a i-still-love-you look and kicked dirt off the edge.

strom had notice and seen this happen before " your not fouling anyone pokey, just yourself" he said sternly and watched to other stud walk away " you either want me or you want him, but you can have both" he said looking her straight in the eyes

Lightning noticed a mare and smiled looking at the stallion through narrowed eyes. "I don't want her fool!" He looked at the other mare with a gleam in his eyes, licking her ear.

"And I don't want him!" She yelled, "I'm not lying Storm!"

" find out what that after i breed you, youll go running off to him and take my foal with you. no i wont have it. i wont have my foal riased by another stallion" he said and glared but smirked at lighting " then breed that mare and have her as your mate if you dont want pokey be a stallion grow a pair and breed her" he said tanting him

"I'm staying with you! Once the foal is weaned, I will visit Lighting, have him breed me, stay with him until the foal is born, wean in and come back here. Back and forth, the foals staying with you."

Lightning turned toward him. He'd cross the line! He snorted and looked over to the mare who obiously had a mate but she agreed to pretend. He stood up to him, angry eyes on his mood. "Look here stallion," he growled. "You are pushing her! She does not deserved to be pushed just because someone loves her. Let her think, but she can't right now because you decide to pressure her! I love her, yeah, but she's making a deal with you. And if you refuse it. Then leave stallion."
He stomped his hoof and turned to Pokey then back toward him.

storm smirked he knew thier little " game look here you stupid stud im not pressuring anyone im just stating facts that i will not share a mate and i told her the deal was off but obiviously she never told you that now did she" he said he looked down on the other stallion " she is playing both of us yet your too dumb to even see it" he said angered and done with them both

"Please Storm, I willl never leave your side. I have made my choice and it is you." She gave Lighting the tail flick that meant it wasn't true, they had made it up as a kid.
