Lightning's eyes gleamed and he looked at her. "I'm sorry this happened to you Pokey...the mare is a mouse-brained fool you didn't deserve it." he murmured with a glint of pride in his eyes. He went to her side and looked in the distance. "Would you like to get outta here?" he asked.

strom looked at pokey with mixed eyes and mixed feelings " deals off" he said as he walked away from her " even though i am a forcer one thing i dont do is forcer mare that have mate or the one that i have fallen for" he said looking into her eyes hurt

She looked at him and stomped her hoof. "He isn't my mate! Just best friends! The deal is not off! You helped me, we made a deal." Pokey looked at him then back towards the clearing. "Or you can go back to the litte ignorant mare in the clearing." She turned and preapared to leave.

Strom turned and faced betond mad " that mare means nothing to me" he said walking towards her " the deals off cause I don't want this to be a one time thing I want it everyday. I want to have foals with you . I want to grow old with you, pokey I've fallen for you and I think I love you" he told her as he watched and waited for her reply

Lightning tensed waiting for Pokey. He looked around and slowly snuck over, making sure not to be seen and the wind was not going the wrong direction to reveal his scent. He pricked his ears as he got closer and then heard voices and he could just reveal Pokey's. She said something that surprised him and he looked though the ferns with wide eyes. He moved back like a scared foal. She lied to me!
He turned and ran

Lightning went far away into the forest and stopped lying down. She was right. He was sensitive and he couldn't...he couldn't take it. So this is what he deserved. He whinnied good-bye and walked away slowly, his tail drooping. He looked over his shoulder one last time, then headed home.

Lightning sighed and went on, tears streamed down his eyes. He was in shock. She said she loved him. Why did she just go breaking his heart? And not leave him? He knew it! Love. He snorted and headed for a cliff just to kill himself. He was just going to kill himself, hunt with Starherd or the dark forest.

Lightning did not hear her. He plunged down into the cliff, hitting the hard rocks with a grunt, his eyes closing slowly.
