The rider's treid to pull the fillies up around the far turn. Ronny was shouting making a fuss. Groom's ran to the track and walked the horses back to the coooling area Ronny had the horses separated so they would calm down as the groom's washed them down-

I got confused with all this and reared uo then came down and gave a wide eyed look at every one it was easy to tell I was no spooked and confused.

Birdie snorted and shook her head as she was escorted to the cooling area with Banded Hero. Banded gave Birdie a strange look before chuckling. "Gettin' ahead of yourself?" he asked. Birdie frowned.
"No. I'm a thoroughbred. Racing is in my blood," she answere simply and started to cool off, sweat no longer beading from her pores.

The groom's washed the horses and walked them after that they brought them back to the stable to be feed and groomed-

I walked there perfectly fine and slowly I was now settled.I then walked into me stall and ate.

Birdie's eyes glanced at Madie before she started to munch on some grain. She refused to get in her stall since she wanted to go out to the meadow so desperatley. She nipped at Ray, telling him that he should let them go out to the meadow for a little while to get rid of our energy.

I bobbed my head in agreement.

The horses would be shiped to Belmont for maden races, they where green and exsperianced jockey's wehre need but Ronny got them in time for the week of races he had set up for the horses. The horses where kept in barn seven and groom's got them ready for tomarrow four horses where racing tomarrow-

I enjoyed the attention and stood tall and still for them."Hey what's your name?"I asked the stud.

Ronny had the groom's tack the horses up and taken to the track the exsercise rider's alert for any funny buissnes the young horses might do-

Birdie smiled and started to sprint, her body looking as graceful and as fast, maybe even faster than a cheetah. She only used her full speed when she was alone, and when at races. She was smart enough not to waste all of her energy and become sore only during excersizes. Her hooves threw dirt behind her, dust clouds followed where ever she went.
Banded Hero started to sprint, and stayed a bit behind Birdie. He would also conserve his entire energy for races. His legs seemed to be moving like a blur that was fogged by his intense speed.

Ronny made sur ethe horses where worked right this time. It called for a five furlong breez right before race day to make the horses sharp normaly he did this very rarly but they needed it. He enterd theme all in allowance races since they had already broke there madens-

The next day the groom's got the horses walked and ready for the race's he got the new mare in a small four quarter's of a mile race and Bridie and Hero in seprat sprint race's both six furlong's short and the track was fast in condition so the surface would be to the horses liking's-

Birdie walked onto the track with her head held high, ready for a race. She snorted softly and smiled, bobbing her head at familiar faces that appeared in the races she attended constantly. She was loaded up into the gate with no problem at all since she was so focused.
Banded Hero did other wise. When he stepped onto the track, he did a little sidestep dance for crowd. He loaded up into the gate with his head held high and pompisly.

When the gate's opend Birdie leaped from the gate her jockey Ray urged her into strong position in 4th on the rail. (is Birdie a girl or boy?) kept 4th as they enterd the stretch they came into some trafic on the rail blocked by a gray colt. Then moved into third as they rolled around the turn and Ray had Birdie in second as they came into the home stretch Birdie was neck and neck with the gray colt. The colt's jockey did not use his whip for Birdie was all that was needed to chalenge the colt onward. As they came to the wire Birdie surged forward and took first by a neck!

(Birdie is a girl, Banded is a boy)
Birdie smiled and nickered softly in her win. She threw her head up a few times as she held a little prance in her stride. She gave the other horses a 'nice try' smile before walking back to Banded. "Good job," she murmured softly before tugging on his mane. Banded snorted softly and continued to go where ever his jockey would take him. He felt his heart nearly beat out of his chest; this was the hardest race he had ever ran.

(What's going on?The last thing I new was that my horses asked what bansdeit's name was.)

(Birdie and Banded competed in a six furlong race and Birdie won... Madie was entered in a four furlong race and it hasn't started yet)

I was put in the door and went in with ease while the other horses went crazy I stayed calm then BAM!The buzzard went off and the doors opened I tagged along in the back going fast but not as fast as I could go then we crossed the winning line once and I let her buck.I picked up the speed weaving in and out of the horses till I was in the front by a stud.He bit my shoulder drawling blood and I bit his NOT drawling blood.He bit me aging harder but this time I gusted speed up ahead of him and he looked as if he would rip my tail off.He then got a hold of some of my long,soft,black,beautiful tail and rip off some hairs but I kept going then REALLY let her buck.I speed up going faster and faster and faster till I was nothing but a blur.I was now 3 1\2 of a quarter of the lap while the other horses were 2 1\2.I then sped up and passed the finishing line and kept running for I was used to a 4 lapped race not a 2.I then felt the rains be pulled back and I came to a halt after awhile then went were my joke told me to go....i had won....3 races in a row and I've only been in three.My shoulder burned from what the stud did and was bleeding badly.

Exsiting race Wild One! But first can I point out there are no lap's, the track's a built atlest over a mile some times they go around the far turn and back into the backstrtch if the race is really long. 4 quarter's makes a mile, 8 furlong's makes a mile. You did real good with the names of the distance she was at in the time of the race so we knew where she was. Did you know Belmont Park has the bigest race track and stand's the track is over two miles! Can you emagine running in that long of a race)

But they where not lead to the winner's circle right away. Ronny called a foul, the colt had bumped his horse. Ray told the steward's the whole race as if he read it from a book. The colt's jockey was saspended for ten day's of racing. Finaly Madie recied her handsome silver cup. The two filles and colt where lead back to the barn's to cool out. The groom's washed them in the far end Ronny splashed water on the spectator's in his angry mood as he washed Madie, Sammy was washing Berdie and Hero was beeing washed by a girl groom named Ellen. The reporter's where talking about the faoul which Ronny still had not gotten over. He washed Madie's tail in the bucket as her groom swept the water of her side's and back. Sammy let Birdie chew on the lead a moment as he untangled the filly's forlock somthing she did not like to much. Ellen was driying Hero-

(Thanks.....O and well thanks for telling me I had no clue cause I don't know much about racing but I like it. )

I stood in the winners circel proud and happy.I then walked to the cooling area and saw how mad Ronny was.I nuzzled him saying"I'm fine."But when he started to clean it I flinched in pain.I let him clean me up and stuff.

Ronny stopped fussing and let Sammy finish up pretty soon the horses where all walked and taken back to there stall's to rest and eat. There leg's warped and coat's brushed-

Birdie smiled lightly as she started to chew on some nearby grain that was left in the stall for her. She rehydrated herself and turned around, seeing people pass her by and pointing fingers. Birdie cocked her head to the side and nipped at their fingers which could actually mean two things; one, it could be playful, and two, it could be out of anger.
Banded lapped up his water swiftly and flagged his tail as he pranced around his stall, people gawking at his grace.

People seround me and a cute little girl then asked,"Is she going to be ok?"I looked down at the 3 year old human and nuzzled her before continuing to clean my bloody wound,i then saw the stud who bit me be put in the stall next to me.

Ronny had the crowed moved out of the barn and Frank the owner came by checking on his horses. The two talked about the mare's and colt's next races. Ronny wanted to run them in some allowance races down in Hollywood Park. The groom Sammy fed each horse a perperment and watched over the horses keeping fan's back. "Can't wait tell we get home." He said to the colt Hero. He patted the filly's and went into the tack room they would ship the horses to Hollywood Park-
