It was my secant race and I was ready.My heart thumped louder then ever.-THUMP THUMP THUMP THUMP-BAM!The gates opened and I raced out of the door staying behind the others then slowly getting father ahead,"And there off Madie mackintosh takes last place.And Madie mackintosh takes 8,7,6,5,4 place."I did not listen gust played my game for this was a REALLY long race 4 LAPS! I slowed down as we posted the winning line for the 1st time.I slowly went back to the behind but picked up the speed and took 3 place as we passed the line the secant time.I then pasted all the other horses and went into a unliveable speed and pasted the line for third time when the other horses were passing it for the secant I was now going to fast to blive it.I stayed in front.I then picked up the speed I was now going an unbiveable speed-20 secants mile."Unbivelablue she's going a amassing speed....20 secants per mile!"I then pasted the winning line for the forth time.I had won 1st place.I ran across the field slowly stopping.I was at least 1 mile away from the wining line when stop and the other horses FINALLY crossed the line.Then my owner,Kiandra,hopped off my back and led me into the winners circle and people serouneded us and Kiandra anosed,"She is for sale but please do bid......Aoction will be held here by her stall tomarrow 6 am though 6pm.Then Kiiandra led me out and pepole asked questions and shouted things but we kept going.She then put me in my stall,"There you go girl."She said while putting hay in my stall.She then walked off and retuned with 2 buckets one with water the other with feed.She then sat them in my stall and I eagerly drank the water till it was nothing.I then took a few bites of grain and hay before laying down and slowly but surely falling asleep.Kiandra closed the stall door and started to leave the barn but 1st Hollered,"See you tomorrow girl."She then left me alone and closed the door.
Kiandra-I drove home and my family rushed around me and congratulated me.I said thanks and ate diner and headed to bed,"I'm going to bed!"I Hollered,"Already but It's early!"My mom Hollered back."I'm going to the race trake extra early tomorrow!""Ok!"mom answered.I then walked into my room the clock read-6:00 pm.I sighed and changed into my pyjamas after a short shower.I then crawled into bed and the clock read-6:15 pm.I sighed aging and fell asleep.

I awoke and looked at the clock and it said-6:10."I'M LATE!"I Hollered and got dressed fast and put my boots on and rushed out the door with my keys and opened my truck....started the engine and drove off.By the time I was there it was-6:20-"Sorry I halloed to the people around Madie's stall.
Madie-I slowly awoke to the sound of my girl and other people's voices.

Frank White and Ronny Homes pushed through the corwed as they went to the cooling area where the horses where beeing washed. "I thought we would take a look at the filly for sale." Frank said owner of River Bend Stud's. Ronny said nothing as they made there way past the clocker's shed and to the shed row. The barn's where buzzing with activity and Frank was talking up a storm about some colt's for sale down in Florida. I meet them at the barn and as we walked Frank said "We needed a good two-year-old filly." "We allready got plenty." Ronny mutterd. Ronny and Frank alway's fought but they both where good friend's in a way. As went went into a long row barn Frank stepped over the cross ties of a bay colt and said "I don't like the sound of a winter filly they an't ready in the spring time." I followed them as Frank argued "What about Storm Stride he is our best colt and he was born in the winter?" "Well that was a breeding not ment to be." Ronny said. As we went to the stall in the back of the barn Frank said "A private sale offer might buy a filly for the farm." "I thought the owner wanted to sell her at a acution?" Ronny asked puzzled. As we stopped by the filly's stall door they looked in at her. "She's big." Ronny said. "Well she grew pretty good nice hock's and shoulder's to." Frank said. "What do you think ray?" Frank asked looking at me. "I would have to wait untill I rode her but she does have nice shoulder's and back leg's." I said looking at the black filly. She had drop star whitch ment it was a circle that was sharped to a narrow stripe. It stood out among her black ebany coat. I reached out to rub her foarhead. Frank stepped up to the stall to get a better look at her as did Ronny but they did not go in-

Kiandra-I was brushing her from the side that you could not see me at.I then herd viscoses and walked into view,"Hello.You here to bid for the filly or do you want to make a deal?I walked to them and smiled at Madie enjoying the attention.I then handed them a file and it read-

Frank looked at the file. He turned to talk to Ronny. "We need to know more about her racing tecniques." He said to Ronny. I looked at the mare. Frank looked at the mare "We want to know how much you plain on selling?" Ronny handed me the file. As I read it Frank said "And we need to know more about the horse?" Ronny liked to know what track condition a horse ran best on a race not so good with. He liked to know what bit suted the horse a ring bit or a D bit. He liked to know what a horse was feed to grain, oat's, hay, etc. I had been with theme when the bought horses most of the time. "And we would like Ray to try her out before we buy?" Ronny said quickly-

"Ok well on the price well you'll gust have to ofer something or maybe trade a hores.Yes he may ride her and here's another file."I said handing it to them and it read-
Eats-Mixture of oats and grain and also hay and malaises.
Amount she usually eats-One bucket full will usually take care of her for 2 days.
Bit-She will only take both the d bit and ring bit.
She is a easy to manig horse and rarely gives you problems with riding,showing,training,brushing her.

Frank thought of how much the horse was worth "Well a good 60,000 would be her price." I stood leaning in to read the file with Ronny. "What the." He paused before saying the word he used a lot. "Is molasis doind in her?" I smiled but said nothing. He looked at the mare. "Ray can you get the D ring and tack from the trailer conpartment?" He asked. "Get the blue sinch this horse is no pony." I ran to the trailer to get the exsercise saddle and D ring bit and head stall the blancket's draped over my arm. I went back into the barn. Frank said "We want Ray to ride her before we buy?" He looked at me. I went up to the mare's stall and put the tack on the ground to lead her out of the stall-

Kindar-"You can have her then cause that's good money...hope you enjoy the ride and hold on tighter then you ever have."I said remembering the time I went flying off her when she was galloping as fast as the mare could.
Madie-I walked out of the stall with no problem.
(Do you know what malaises is because it is a tip of treat like food you put in there feed.It's what my grampal does. )

After Ronny helped me tack up the mare he boosted me into the saddle. I fited my feet into the iron's and gatherd the rien's. We walked through the track rail gap and Frank and Ronny stood near by to watched the work. I sat perched on her back but let her jog for a furlong. When we hit the quarter pole I let a notch of rein slip through my finger's. I used a firm but soft voice on her and kept a snug hold on the rein's. I sat crouched low over her whither's but huged close to her neck-

I let him hop on with no problem.I jogged fine for him but after awhile I had to let her buck....I picked up the speed and went into a gallop going so fast I looked like a blur running.If you look closely I was running in a beatuful gallop and was a VERY smooth ride and a fun one if you could hold on.My tail looked like a banner as I went and my main was hitting your face and I was going faster then your average horse.

I pulled the mare up quickly. We where not sapouse to go this fast! I pulled her to a hault finally and rode her over to Frank and Ronny "I cant say much she got away." I was a little angry but kept quiet. Frank looked at her. "I dont know Frank she is more like a sprinter?" Frank said. "Sprinter's are not bad but-Frank looked at the mare. "I wont go higher than $50,000 for a sprinter that has not broke her maden." He said. "I will write the check." He said getting the check book out. "She did fine at first but then she just wouldn't stop?" I said. "I thought she was gonna pull my arm's out of there socket's." I said. Ronny just looked at her a little displeased. "What's wrong?" I asked. "She will need a ring bit, a really tuff ring bit to hold her back. A horse has to be able to keep it's pace for a sertan time in a race she cant just use it all in one furlong. She wont be able to go the distance if she does that." He said more to himself than to me. Frank handed the check to the girl. I slid out of the saddle and Ronny helped me untack her. "Her name should be Head Strong." He joked. I watched as he put the shipping equitment on her and the groom we brought with us loaded her into our trailer. (sure)

Kinda quickly took the check,"Thank you so much."She said and ran off.I watched her then let them untack and groom me.I then went into the trailer with out a problem.I stood still in the trailer and rested my eyes for a little while then awoke and stared at the outside view.

Banded Hero waited for his owners to return, kicking at the stable door unpatiently. He whinnied loudly and bit on the lock, but to no avail, it wouldn't budge. Spectacular Birdie snorted and nipped at his shoulder for doing such a horrid thing. Unlike Banded Hero, she was a very calm and collected, young race horse. She nibbled on the thin strands of hay left in her trough by her owner, Ray/Ronny/Frank. She lapped up her water and waited for her owner(s) to return. Banded Hero rolled his eyes and let out a rough, jagged whinny once again, Spectacular Birdie neighing loudly back at him to scold him.

When we mad it to River Bend Stud's we walked to mare to her newe home the traning barn with the other colt's and fillies. Sammy the groom gave her grain and watter and filled her hay net. After he groomed her getting to know his new charge he lead her into her new stall. He watched her a minute then left to let her get to know her new stable buddy's-

Banded Hero nickered to the new gal in the barn. "Looking fine!" he told the new, young horse entering the barn. Banded Hero found her VERY attractive, which wasn't odd since he was like this to many other newbies. But no, this wasn't any other ordinary race horse. Nope. This new racer was different. Spectacular Birdie nickered softly to the new filly with a smile as she pawed in her stall.
"Welcome to our home," she said warmly as she snorted softly and nipped at her flank.

I walked in slowly then let the groom take care of me then ate and drank some.I then nickered kindly to the mare but paid no attain to the stud though he was VERY hansom.*Have I ever Sean a finer looking stud?*Her eyes look as if they were saying that as she scanned him over then the other mare,"Hello other mare,I'm Madie mackintosh but Madie for short and thanks for the nice welcoming and what's your name?"I talked to her and paid no attention to the stud.I then nipped at her flank back.

Spectacular Birdie tilted her head to the side and groomed Madie's shoulder for a second. "I'm Spectacular Birdie -- Birdie for short," she repeated and gave a faint smile before glancing at Banded Hero who was gawking at Madie. "Banded, staring is rude," she said with a chuckled as she shook her mane.

I groomed her back then chuckled at the stud and FINALLY spoke to him,"I'm not that nice of a mare I'm I".I said while laughing,I then whispered in to her ear,"Studs there so weird and all they want is ***.It totally sucks."I then took a bit of hay and nickered to the humans.I then tried opening the stall door but no use man did I want to go run around.

A groom asleep on his coat in the tack room shouted for the horses to be quiet. He went back to sleep and Sammy stured but did not get up the night time had crept in and all was quiet-

I snorted at the human the laid down with a thump and closed my eyes,"Good night Birdie."I said to her and nothing to the stud.

Birdie smiled lightly and nodded. "Na-night," she replied softly and laid down, closing her eyes smugly before falling into a light sleep. Banded chuckled lightly and shook his head. "Night," he said to them both and fell asleep standing up.

In the morning the groom's feed the horses and brushed theme. They walked theme and tacked theme up for morning work out's. Ray rode teh new mare out to the walking ring and walked her for a while then Ronny had him take her to the track for a work out-The other exsercise rider's rode the other two and three-year-old's out to the track to to work theme out-

Birdie's mane was sent flying back as she raced across the excersizing track, both graceful and swift. She had slender, long legs that stretched out before her an astonishing 112 degrees. She extended her neck before her as her legs carried her smoothly across the dirt.
Banded was also very fast, his legs stretching 109 degrees. They were equally fast and agile, both able to run long distance. He snorted and shook his head rapidly before continueing to sprint in circles.

I ran on the track going VERY fast even faster then Birdie and Banded put together.I then tried to stop when felt the rains be tugged back but I couldn't my feet dug up the earth as I slid about 3 feet before finally able to stop.I then stood there waiting for the signal to contue.

Birdie knew she could run faster than the younger filly, but she didn't want to tire herself out on an excersize. She snorted and sped up, quickly catching up to her within an instant. Her flowing gray mane blew like silk in the wind, and as did her tail.
