I frown to myself and shake my head and place it on my arms that rested on my knees. "Go if you please, but this is my home."

I frowned,"Do you want me to leave?" i asked her hurt with what she said

"No darling, of course I don't want you to. I just don't want you to feel uncomfortable in my home." I say gently as if he was there beside me

"I'll get used to it." i said back looking at my hands

"I should have asked you if you wanted to come here in the first place.." ashamed I looked at the far away ground far below me. I sat silently as I watched a mother doe and her two fawns pass catiously by.

Jake
I walked outside and followed her scent and started to climb up,"I would of came with you." i said sitting beside her

Talia~
I smile weakly but keep my distance. "Yes, yes I know." I continue to look around and raise my gaze to look across the tree tops that spread out before me. They went for miles, you could see every valley and meadow from up here.

Jake
I climbed down a few branches and sat down

Talia~
"Jake?" I ask softly. "Why did you bite me?" I reach up and tuck a stray hair back behind my ear as the wind picked up.

Jake
"Because i felt like you were the one to be my mate." i said to her playing with my thumbs

Talia~
I turn and lay down on my stomuch on the branch facing him. "What do you mean?"

Jake
"I just felt it in my gut i guess what I'm saying is that my mind was screaming at me that you and me were destined to be with me." i said to her looking away blushing

Talia~
I smile and swing down beside him. "I know what you mean..." I gently as I brush my lips againsnt his shushing my words. Leaning back I look deep into his eyes with my own ice blue ones. "I'm gunna head back to the house."

Jake
"Alright, I'll be there soon." i said to brushing a kiss on her cheek

Talia~
A dim ghost of a smile lights my face and then I was gone, like I had just vanished. Appearing before my house I look at it with sad but happy eyes as memories flood back from long ago. Wiping a tear from my face I walk to the door and go inside. Walking slowly up the steps I go past the bedroom Jake and I were in. Instead I go to the one farthest down the hall, it had been my parents bedroom. Pushing the door open I walk in tentatively and examine the long empty room. Sighing I walk over to the king bed and knee before it. I look up at the ceiling and looked at my reflection in the mirror directly above the bed. Sighing I bring my eyes down to look at the rest of the room. It had many windows, most of which were open half way, and the wind blew in causing the lengthy white curtains to stir and dance soundlessly. The room was huge and warm in spirit. Smiling I climb up on the bed and curl up in the middle of its vastness.

Jake
I walked all the way back to Talia's house

Talia~
I lay there curled up looking about me silently. Letting the noise of the outside world roam in my head. Closing my eyes I again struggle to not cry. *Why does my life have to be so difficult?* I scream in my head as I bite down on a pillow to keep the scream from leaving my head and exiting my lips.

Jake
"Not everyone has a perfect life ya know." i said to her in my mind

Talia~
I just laid there and stared at my reflection in the mirror above me. "True, but others don't have to live forever with a wretched life..."

Jake
"True." i said putting my head to the right

Talia~
I take a deep breath and nod. Then I get under the goose feathered covers of the big bed and close my eyes.

Jake
I walked in and plopped on the couch falling asleep

Talia~
I had fallen asleep a few minutes before and now rested peacefully

Jake
About two hours later i woke up and looked around i heard my stomach growl at me

Talia~
I continue to sleep, my body resting comfortably in the big bed
