~Breaking Dawn~

My long, slender, golden wings, spread to their full length of 17 feet as I flew over the roaring ocean. My mane and tail, flowing behind me like molten, liquid gold on the breeze as I sailed efortlessly through the air, waved like banners. My golden hooves glinted in the sunlight, and I curved my elegant neck. My dished Arabian head was collected easily, my small ears forward, large eyes calm. Yet not everything was as peaceful on the inside as it appeared. I see a cliff and fly down to it, my elegant legs extending before me to land silently on the ground, my long, slender wings dissipating into teh air as I landed. I lifted my head and tossed my golden mane, eyes looking around warily. My ivory coat gleamed blindingly in the sunlight. Mist from teh sea below me came and blew over me in refeshing waves,a dn I sighed softly. I looked around once more and whinnied in a soft, clear voice, much like the sound of a lazy stream over smooth rocks in spring time, unsure if I really wanted to see another horse after the terrible memories embedded into my mind like a brand on my flank.

I raise my head and snort when I see him come up, ears slightly back. I throw my head up and eye him, taking a step back.
"Why are you here," I ask, not sure what else to say. I wasn't about to give my name to a stranger; I ahd done that before, and it had not ended well.

I bare my teeth at you.
"I'm not afraid of you," I say with a slight snarl in my tone at him. I rear up adn spin around, kicking straight out at his chest. I twist around and watch you with one eye, ears against my skull, the whites of my eyes showing. I stand tensely, watching you.

I snort and toss my head, glaring at him.
"Who ever said I thought I had more power than you?! We're all equal under the eye of teh Lord, so why would I go against He who created all?" I say, baring my teeth. This, stallion, if that was what he actually was, was only jumping to conclusions.

I scowl at him.
"Get a new line. That one's old," I say, lowering my head to graze while keeping him in my line of sight.

"Keep trying," I mutter under my breath, barely loud enough for him to hear. I raise my head.
