Wings Stir The Air

[××Eris××]

Wings stir the air gently as a winged boy lands softly upon the grass. His hair as well as his wings is black as midnight and his eyes are dark and unfathomable. He is shirtless and his bottoms are worn and ragged. Upon his chest is a series of marks. He would tell you that they were sacred runes, but they look more like blackened scars etched into his otherwise perfect skin. He sits upon the ground and plucks at a blade of grass, his expression wistful and far away. The wind blows quietly and causes a dry rustle from his now folded wings. The wings are large and silky. Their long feathers brush the ground softly, giving a harsh contrast between the black and the green.

Sierra:*i look down from a tree at him, my brown hair along with my long black dress flow in the wind, but i wish to stay unnoticed*

I dont look up, but I am aware of the presence of another. I am aure it is a girl... and i assume it is like me. For she is above me and i can hear the dry rustle of another set of wings. I know she wishes to stay unseen and unnoticed, i grant her request.

Sierra:*i sigh and step down from the tree i sit in, i stand but lean against it for in the tree wasn't to comfortable*

I hear her descend and still do not look up, her sigh was a bit overdone. i continue to toy with the delicate blades of grass infront of me. My hair is hanging shaggily infront of my eyes and face, giving her no notion as to what i might look like.

Sierra:*i look over to him with curiosity in my eyes but stay were i am*

I can feel her curiosity hovering around me like an annoying housefly. I resist the urge to make a flicking motion with my hand. My chest heaves in a silent sigh and i contempate looking up to see who is here looming.

Sierra:*i walk farther away from him and go to the stream, paying no attention what so ever*

A small smile plays at the edges of my mouth. She left... And she seemed to be exhasperated about it. i chuckled slightly and rustled my wings ever so slightly.

Sierra:*i smile and play with a flower i had found, twirling it around with my fingers, i get back into a tree that is across the stream, stil having the flower in my hand, i take out a drawing pad and draw it*

Sierra:*i tear then rip out the drawing*"Screw flowers."*i mumble to myself, then start to draw a horse, he is strong, muscular, proud and very beautiful, wings as a strong eagle..i grin, the picture of the flower lies on my lap, i throw it into the stream*

The paper flutters towards the stream but somehow changes course and flys towards me. It lands softly on the ground next to me and i take it and unfold it silently. It was a rose. The drawing was okay, but it could use some more detail and shading... maybe there could be droplets of water upon the leaning petal.... hmmm. yes. i took a charcoal pencil out of a pocket in my garments. i started smudging and shading and redoing details. i smiled at the finished product happily, i was proud of it.



i wiped my charcoal stained hands on the soft grass and finally looked up. but i did not look at the girl, i gazed at the sky.

Adina~ I land in a nereby tree, not seeing them. I sigh lightly, the sound whispering through the leaves on the tree as I traced a bark pattern lightly with my fingertips, lost in my own world and thoughts as the wind lightly swayed the tree's leaves.

*i look at the picture i just drew and fold it up and put it back in the book, then set the book on the ground*

i look down at the picture in my hand and grin. i crumple it up into a ball and blow gently on it. The paper reforms into a rose... a real life rose. Even though it is made out of charcoal, it still holds the elegance of a real flower. i toss it lightly into the sky and it floats away.

i come in with my wolf by my side i smile at my wolf that ive had since i was a little girl; my laugh like a melody dance on the breeze then i see him and cant help but stare

Lilith: I watch them from in a tree unemotional

Alexandra: I stand beside Lily and look down at them

Raven: I sit down on the branch above Alex and Lily

Victoria: I stand beside Alexandra and look at the wolf

my smile fades as i look into the sky and see a cloud in the shape of a pentagram. it wasnt only slightly resembling it, but was a full pentgram. i winced and spread my wings around myself like a shell. i couldnt help but remember those times... the summoning, the torture.... the starvation and the pain... but my unability to die.... my limbs had been emaciated and fragile... breaking when to took them in his strong hands.... i shuddered helplessly against the ground as the memories assaulted me.

i wince as i see him, i want to go and comfort me but i stay were i am with ice, i watch with sad eyes

Alexandra: I look up at the cloud and put my hand on my pentagram necklace

Lilith: I look down at him and jump down using my wings to land without making a sound

Raven: I move as fast as light and appear beside Lily

Victoria: I stay beside my master

finally, the memories stop and my shuddering slowly ceases. i unfurl my wings quietly and look around fleetingly in the sky, the cloud was gone. i shook my head and buried my face in my hands, silent sobs shaking my bosy with tremendous force. my dark hair covered my face and my wings were unfolded in a charcoal colored arc. with my wings unfurled, you could see the twining scars that marked my muscular back. a small voice inside my head scoffed cruelly. what a sight it said an angel sitting in the middle of a meadow... carved with runes and scars....sobbing... no wonder you were the one summoned by Valentine so quickly. you are weak

some how i could hear the voice in my head, ice could pick up that something was wrong with me, i finally work up enough courage to walk closer to him to see if hes willing to let me closer

Lilith: I look at the girl warning her that it might be dangerous to come closer then kneel down in front of him "Are you okay?"

Alexandra: I jump out of the tree and land behind Lily

Victoria: I follow my master and watch the boy cautiously

Raven: I stand quietly

steeling myself from the sobs and emotion, i force myself to look up into the face of the girl. my eyes were black and fathomless.. but they held a deep sorrow. When i finally spoke, my voice was ragged with disuse " thankyou for your concern, my friends. but no, i am not okay"

Lilith: My eyes was dull and lifeless but my voice was filled with worry "What wrong?"

Alexandra: I look down at him my voice and eyes cold with my hand still on my necklace "Did it have something to do with the pentagram cloud?"
