I stare into her gorgeous eyes, then shake my head and chuckle, blushing I dunk my head in the water, staring at the fish and weeds, then a big fish gets in my face and I pull my head up startled, laughing.

Destiny~
I catch Alaska's blush after we shared a small moment of locked eyes. In that small moment, i saw something in his gaze that i liked. Did i like him? Shaking out the thought knowing he would never like me, i continue watching him play and giggle while the moonlight danced through my purple and white coat.

Nina: I sit up proudly, my wise eyes watching the two with interest and humor. I flick an ear to Durengo's words and answer him. "Yes, I believe Alaska does like her, like wise for Destiny." Lifting my head towards the sky I look at the moon with awe and respect. Then turn to Durengo. "Artemis, would be proud of the match. Her moon daughter, Destiny, would go perfect with Alaska." I turn again and look at the two. "I two would be proud of the match." My soft ears flick forward as I sit straight up, the Alpha Female in me showing very much. Hearing my pups I turn my head an look back at the den. They were a year old now, about time for them to leave an find their own packs. Funny how much they had grown since meeting Durengo and Destiny two months previous. I turn my ever changing eyes to Durengo. The awe and love swell in my heart till I could bear it no more and let out a longing sigh in escape.

I shake the water out of my coat and stand up, walking onto the bank, my coat drooping with water I shake and sit down, looking over at her with an awe in my eyes. I did like her.... sigh.... I shake my head at myself and smile small "What do you want to do?" I asked her, stupid and over used phrase, but it did the job.

Durengo~
I smile as i watch Nina and all of her alpha female glory combined with her natural feminine glory shine beneath the waning moonlight that hung lonely in the sky above us. Few stars twinkled above our heads tonight. Sighing silently, i glance back at her grown pups. "I think you are right, but will they become one?" i add with a strong but quiet masculine voice. I walk over to her and sit down, pressing my nose to her's and staring deeply into her eyes as my bright lavender ones reflect joy and happiness. My ears perk up at her sigh, "What? Its something wrong?" i ask immediately pulling away and examining her.

Destiny~
I stand up when he exits the water and smile small watching his shake out his water soaked coat. Blushing slightly but gathering up my confidence as i walk over to and answer his question sheepishly. "Kiss you..." with that said, i lean in and plant on his mouth gingerly before pulling away and turning my head away. I didnt know what came over me but it was a strong feeling i had never felt before. I wasnt sure how to handle them, so i turned and ran far and deep into the woods.

I watch as she answers me, I perk my ears foreward, in the tipical[sorry brain fart idk how to spell that] confused guy. I blush as she kisses me and smile, then she runs. Runs?! I shake my head shocked and stand up, loping quickly after her "Why are you running?! Destiny!" I said, calling for her.

[Glass Prison]

Destiny~
I hear him coming after me and i had to slow. Besides the fact that i was dead tired and it was extremely dark in the woods. I finally stop in a clearing where the bright moon shone with all her might down between the circling trees and filled the open space. I walk gingerly to the center and sit down waiting for Alaska to pop up at any minute. What was i feeling? Growling at myself, i cant hold back the angry tears and let them fall down my cheeks without further hesitation.

[Saviour]

I stop and look around quickly for her, what was wrong? I bark softly and trot foreward, reaching a clearing where the moonlight cascaded gently down onto a darkened silhouette of Destiny. I sigh in releif and walk slowly to her and stand infront of her beautiful, feminine body. "Whats wrong?" I asked her, my voice soft and full of care. I lick the tears from her soft coat gently and sit down infront of her, hoping it wasn't something I said or did; beens how I always screwed things up.

[Glass Prison]

Destiny~
I smile small when he comes around my front and and licks my tears. Then i become closed and growl softly, turning my head away from him and glaring out at the dark woods surrounding us. "Its not you..its me." as i say it, i mentally kick myself for using a cliche that was very over used. But it was true, it was me. Taking in a deep breath and slowly letting it all out as i say, "This isnt suppose to be my life. I mean i dearly want it, i assure you, but....there is something about Nina's family that breaks the hard outer shell that i wear." i pause for a moment to keep the angry tears from falling. "I am supposed to be a bitch! A cruel and harsh she-wolf who no alpha will fall for....im not even suppose to be here.." growling silently to myself weakly. "But, i was about to change like Durengo did when he fell for your mother and then it quit. I met you and things changed. I think..i think..." I stop and press my head into his chest.

[Guest]

Nina: I watch the exchange between Destiny and Alaska, up until the point both hauled ass into the woods. Alpha instinct kicked in and a low pitch growl erupted from me and my ears flattened. Going out by themselves was dangerous, especially in the black night like this. Sighing I relax realizing that they both were old enough to know what to do. Flicking my tail I stand and stare where they had disappeared in the brush, lowering my head I growl again and louder. A warning to them, though i doubted they heard, that they had better hurry it up. Something just wasn't right tonight, the smell of it reeked all around us and was starting to slowly come into camp. Turning to Durengo, I let the fear in my eyes be revealed to him. "Something isn't right...I can feel it." Shuddering as a slight chill comes over me I turn my head and watch in horror as a dark grey mist starts to come into camp, crawling towards us so slowly that I whinned and turned to face it. Looking back to where I had last seen the other two i give a fierce bark. Scooting closer to Durengo I look up at him, worry clouding my eyes now.

Alaska: I listen intently as she explains her feelings, knowing that I shouldn't say anything back. I lift my head, startled when she burrows her head into my chest and then cautiously lower my head to rest along her back "Its okay not to be a bitch" I said, my voice could barely be heard and part of me wished I didn't say anything at that time. I perk my snow white ears at my mother's growl, followed by a commanding bark. I snort softly and nuzzle her back. "Something is wrong with mother, I must go see... though I wish I could stay and have it be just us." I said and stood up slowly and gently, looking out the way we came I answer my mom with a long bark and look back at Destiny, her beauty made me feel like I didn't deserve her. My eyes clouded with fear as a thin layer of dark mist covers our paws, slowly it crept up further to our ankles. I let out a loud whine and wait for Destiny to stand up so we could get out of the woods.

[Glass Prison]

Durengo followed Nina out of the cave as she growled at the two who left in a frenzy. To him, the night wasnt right either. He stood in the center of their camp slightly behind Nina as she studies where his siter and her son disappeard. She turned to him with fear filled and eyes and he knew he had to comfort her. Drawing her close, he followed her gaze as he spoke. "No, the air seems thick and dark..." just as he spoke his words, mirroring her's, a grey mist swirled in from the trees. "Nina!" he cries to her as she comes to him and they move away from it. What is it?" he barks as he stares into her worried eyes. Turning to the trees, he lets out a angry and demanding howl. "Alaska! Destiny!" he calls, his body filling with fear from the advancing forest. "The others!" he cries as he looks around at the sleeping member then his ever changing violet eyes race up to the cave with her pups.

Destiny pulled away from him and cocked her head at him comment. Brushing it off, she hears Nina's worried barks and nods her head. Suddenly, her paws are swallowed by a grey mist that is slowly working its way up to her white ankles. "Alaska?" she questions with a voice thick with fear. Her lavender eyes portrayed histeria(sp) as she bounded after him, the mist growing in intensity as they advanced home.

Alaska~
I look back at her, worry in my eyes as she comes after me, the mist was rising fast. I bark at her and wait for her to pass me, then dart after her, side by side we quickly advanced back home, I hoped nothing horrible happened to us...

Nina: I look at Durengo for a second then bound a few steps towards my mother and sister. Barking and howling at them till they got up, quickly I direct them to the den where my pups were. In a hustle the two were up the slight embankment and in the den in a split second. Tails inbetween their legs the pups stay hidden in the den as soon as there Grandmother and Aunt push them far back into the den. Looking around hastily I dash back to Durengo's side and let out a worried whine for my beloved son and Destiny. "We must have everyone in the Den, its the safest place.." I whine to myself and partially to Durengo. Even though I didn't know what would be a safe place from this would be...Then I could hear them...and they were coming fast, for the warm blood they could smell and the beating hearts they could hear. Cloaked and thoroughly hidden in the very thick mist, they swarmed closer and closer to denl, and the closer they got the chance for our survival dropped tremendously.

Alaska~
When we reached the camp, no one was there. I whined and listened for my mother. They were in the den. I barked and motion for Destiny to go in first, then, after looking around the area, I follow her into the dark den to wait and listen for the strange mist to disappear.

Nina: Flicking my ears I catch the sound of Alaska and Destiny going into the den. Quickly I go to the den an wait for Durengo to be by my side before I go in. Then the strange whispers came, like ancient voices, spoken in an lost tongue. Whinning quietly to myself I lower myself to the dirt, belly down, ears flat like i was scared I growl softly as soft but many footsteps approach.

[Saviour]

Alaska~
My protective instincts came in at the voices, they were ancient, quiet, lost, scary....
I snarled loudly and pinned my ears, my fur on my back stood on end as I listened to the words, desperately trying to understand the continuous whispers.
Then they got louder, and were soon accompanied by quiet, muffled footsteps. Then it happened, I don't know how, I don't know why, but I felt the sudden urge to leave the den, to approach the beings without caution. I whinned quietly, trying hard to avoid the urge.
My legs trembled with anticipation and I backed up into the den, trying to ignore the words, soft, sweet, and now, incredibly familiar...

Nina:
The foot steps got closer until finally they were right infront of me. I growl, but the voices were to alluring, soft and sweet. Whinning I flinch when one touches me, running its fingers through my soft fur. Snarling I snap at the figure, only to be repremanded and slapped. Yelping I fall to my side, my tail curled up but teeth still flashing brilliantly in what moon light there was. Quickly one of them slipped a rope over my head and tightened it then turned and pulled me. The instant I felt that pull around my neck and throat I launched into the air with growling bark. Landing hard I raise up on my hind legs snarling and shaking my head coming down again I jump from side to growling and tugging furiously on the rope. Once again the ancient voices whispered, but to each other, then turning there attention to me the speak their words and all is lost to me. My body obediently gives up and follows them, while I still was inside but no longer had control of my body. Then I realize I could still connect with my son, mentally speaking. *Dont worry, be strong my son and take care of Destiny. Aid your step father Durengo, and once you find a way to find me I'll be waiting. I too will try to find ways to come back. I love you....* as my voice fades in his mind I loose my connection and am gone.

I whimper and crawl out, rolling onto my belly under ones feet and then I hear my mother snarl viciously. When I look, she is slapped, noosed, and pulled. I snarl roughly and jump onto the ancient beings back, though averything was telling me not to, I continued to dragging the being down and standing on it, thinking about killing it then and there. Right before I was about to kill it, it shoved me off violently and left with my mother. I snarl as one of them strikes me hard across my chest and follows the one with my mother. They whispered to each other once more, and I whimpered softly to my mother. Her voice suddenly echoed in my head and I answered *I will find you and free you, I love you mom, they will pay for what they have done and-* I was cut off and I felt a warm, salty tear stain my fur. I throw my head back and howl sorrowfully to her and end it with a loud cry of remorse. I should've saved her, I could've saved her. I snarled at myself and pace back and forth with anguish as she continued to grow farther and farther from us...

Lillian~
I walk over to my nephew and nudge his cheek with my muzzle. "Cheer up Alaska, you know as well as I that your mother wouldn't want you beating up yourself over this. I'm sure she'll be fine, she has always been a fighter. Ever since we were pups, it was obvious she couldn't be broken easily." I say softly but sternly as I look him in the eyes.

I shake my head "Its my fault" I said with a stubborn snort and stand up, then bound into the dark forest with a grace that didn't seem to belong. i run, and keep running, as I find the light dimming and stop, looking up into the canopy of the forest I shake my head and let the tears that were welling up come. As they did, they never seemed to stop.
