As he raced up the slope, his paws suddenly slipped underneath him and he yelped, falling hard to the ground. Cheshire groaned. He tried to stand but his paws slipped again and he fell again.

Lilac turned back around when she heard his groan and quickly jumped for branch to branch until she reached the ground. Then she bolted over to him and asked hurriedly "Are you okay?!"

Cheshire lifted his head and looked at Lilac. "Oh," he said. "Hi. Oh, I'm fine... I just slipped." He managed to stand.

Cheshire flattened his ears, trying to sum up the courage to speak. "Um..." He scratched at the ground. "I... don't want you to go."
