Maybe I'm Not So Strong Afterall [T] (Blackberry)
Dirt shifting under outstretched claws, hissing echoing through the alley ways, trees bending slightly in the wind, glowing eyes within the dark. The city was abandoned alright. No humans, only stray cats and the occasional dog. There were the scavenger birds along the streets, feeding off carrion, which the cats ignored. There was a sort of treaty between the cats and scavenger birds. They got to eat the dead animals around the place and in return the cats would leave them alone. It was one way to keep the rotting city kind of clean. There were cats of many sizes, colours and personalities. To the small, meek she-cats, to the large, strong toms. Some cats chose to group into small prides, whilst others preferred to be alone. If being alone was possible in the cat infested city. They prowled almost everywhere, refusing to leave. They fought and killed eachother to eat if they had to. Completely and utterly savage.
However, there were a few cats that were sane. And a large tom cat was one of them. He was at least twice the size of an ordinary cat, and he has a white coat with silver tiger like markings. He was a gorgeous tom cat, many she-cats swooned over in the city. His name was Ryuga and he was almost like a boss in the city, though he preferred to stay in the quieter areas of the place. In the northern area of the city, he was like the king, anyway. The city had been split into North, south east and west so cats could figure out where they wanted to go. North was known as the civilised area, where the cats were still sane and worked together. The east was the place for the savages, where they killed eachother for fun or to eat one another. The south was where the feral cats stayed. Cats which liked to fight for the hell of it. Like savages, but they didn’t kill one another. The west was a mixture of south and west, but had most of the stray dogs. It could be hell or heaven to a cat, it depended how they thought of it.
Ryuga, though, thought of the place as a hell, but the only place where cats could truly obtain their freedom. The large tom walked through the streets, ignoring the few cats which watched him. It was them which decided to idolise him. He never chose to be a leader. They just expected it. The tom hissed at the thought and a few cats went rigged before scurrying off. He stretched his long legs out in front of him with a yawn, his golden brown yes scanning the area. Everything seemed fine for now. He would go and search the other areas for cats that were lost and in the wrong region. He bounded off from the North, into the East. He crept through the area, coming up blank with lost ones, so he moved to the South.
There, a ginger tom cat approached him, hissing, his tail lashing and ears back. Ryuga growled and crouched to the ground, waiting for him to get closer. The other tom leapt into the air and the silver tom met him half way, tackling him to the ground with a hiss. The toms struggled on the ground for a moment and Ryuga bit the ginger’s leg hard and the tom hissed and scramble from his grip, where Ryuga lashed out, scraping his claws along his face. The tom yowled in pain, scratching Ryuga along the chest. The large tom hissed and watched as the other ran off. That fight had been totally useless.
Ryuga looked around, moving through the region, wondering if he’d find anyone. To be honest, the city was huge and in each region, there wasn’t even 50 cats. There weren’t many altogether in the city, probably about 170, so searching was usually useless. But either way, he would always try.

Fundamental walked down the street, ears pricked. Everything was quiet, except for the sound of rocks clattering over the street and sidewalk and the occasional glare of amber eyes from the shadows. The she-cat had been on her own since the happening. The humans suddenly left, leaving animals on their own. The city was suddenly split into regions. And the worst region was here - the north region. Well, in her opinion. She could hear the shrieks from the other side of the city. Fun glanced at the birds as they snacked on dead bodies. Her eyes narrowed. Yep, that was defiantly a cat's body. The cat shrunk away, her eyes wide with shock and disgust. The night colored bird lifted its head to stare at her. Its beady red eyes seemed to say you're next. Even though the birds and cats had an alliance most of them were still hostile. Fun quickly bounded towards the shadows, where she was most comfortable. She jumped on top of a broken down car and stood on the hood, her tail flicking. She didn't know what to do. The she-cat was starting to get hungry, and her throat dry as well.
Was there any prey here, besides the carcasses of dead cats? And what about water? I'm not about to drink some fucking oil, she thought with a snarl. Mental lowered herself to her belly, curling her paws underneath her chest. Even though night was really dangerous Fundamental preferred (as already said) she preferred the dark. The cat sighed, her tail curled around her and the tip flicking back and forth. Her ears were pricked and her leaf-green eyes glowed in the shadows. Fun sighed. She could already see cats starting to walk down the sidewalk, their ears flat and eyes swiveling about. She shrank backwards, hoping they wouldn't notice her. As she crawled backwards she felt her hind legs suddenly slip on the edge of the car. Mental gasped and slid backwards. Her claws scrabbled at the surface uselessly. With a yowl she fell of the edge and hit the ground. The cat struggled to her paws and got on her hind legs to peer through the grimy windows. Cats were staring at the car, heads tilted and glassy eyes struggling to focus on her. Fun yelped and quickly got to her paws. She crawled underneath the car and popped out the other side. She dashed forward, heading towards a alley. She could hear the sound of their paws beating over the sidewalk. Mental turned into the alley and ran to a old wooden fence. She bunched her muscles and leaped at the fence. However, she only slammed into the fence and fell to the ground. She groaned. Two injuries and one day. Shit. Fundamental turned her head to see the cats prowling towards her. "Damn," the cat hissed. She backed against the fence, back arched and tail pressed firmly against the wood. How am I going to get out of this?
(Sorry! It sucks! I need to go take a shower xD)

Re: Maybe I'm Not So Strong Afterall [T] (Blackberry)
(Never heard of it )
Ryuga searched the south, but he found no cats which seemed out of place, so, he quickly moved onto the west. The west was his least preferred places. Cats that loved to fight, ones that loved to kill, and the dogs. Everything bad packed into one region. He hated it. It was a feral place which should be fenced off from the rest of the city in his opinion. Actually, the west was the most populated area on the regions. Most feral and savage cats went here, for most of a chance to fight or kill. Some were even insane enough to try and take on a dog. And though, the smaller ones, they could, most went for the two Rottweilers at the back left of the region. It was suicide. Which was exactly why there were multiple bodies of cats there, which the dogs ate. Ryuga hissed at the thought of a dog eating even his insane brethren and he swiped his sharp claws along a tree, engraving his claw marks into the bark. He bounded through the area and was nearly at the border to the North, when he saw a little kitten, only a few weeks old, huddled in the so called safety of a crate. Ryuga stepped up to the kitten, smiling softly.
“I will not hurt you,” he said gently and the young kitten mewed quietly. Ryuga tipped the crate and smiled down at the kitten before he picked it up by its scruff. He looked around the area before he leapt across the border, back into the North. He ran back towards the centre, where he knew most of the cats gathered at night. The little calico kitten in his jaws mewed again, curling itself slightly to stop from swaying so much. The tom slowed and smoothened his pace to help the kitten as he ran. Soon, though, he heard claws scraping against a car. Ryuga slowed to a walk, looking at the she-cat who had made the noise and noticed the rest of the cats staring at her. He watched as she scurried under the car and into the alley way, the other cats following her.
He growled and bounded towards the group, He leapt over them, quietly apologising to the kitten because he rocked so much. He landed right between the group and the she-cat. He turned and looked at the group, placing the small kitten beneath him and he put a paw in front of him, watching as the cats stopped in their tracks as they saw him. “What is going on here?” he asked, his voice loud and clear. The cats cowered backwards as they stared up at the tom towering over them. He knew that the cats in the North were quick to pounce on outsiders. After all, they didn’t want sometimes to overturn anyone against the others. Ryuga looked at the kitten who was curled up beneath him for a moment before he looked at the she-cat, then back at the crowd.
One cat, a black tom barely half his size, stepped forward. “Ryuga, sir, it was her. She does not belong here,” he stuttered, stumbling over his words. Ryuga stared down at the tom before he growled. “What did she do?” he hissed, glancing back the she-cat. “She, uh, she did not do anything yet, sir,” he said. “Then, Mario, do you not think that she deserves a chance, if she has done nothing?” Ryuga asked with a deadly calm. The tom backed away, “but sir-” he started. “No buts!” Ryuga roared. “Leave!” his back arched, tail lashing as he hissed at the group of cats. They stared for a moment before they all turned and ran.
Ryuga stepped to the side and licked the kitten’s head. “Are you alright? They didn’t hurt you, did they?” he asked, looking at the she-cat.

(omg go look it up on youtube it's the best game ever )
Now, Fun was one to stay calm and collected. However, she had her bad side and normally cursed despite being a calm cat. But right now she was on the edge. This random cat had saved her and a bunch of cats that looked like they were about to chew her ears off were about to kill her. Fun let her muscles go limp but kept her green eyes on the male. "I'm alright," she said. So bad she wanted to yowl "I can take care of myself, thank you very much" but this guy had just saved her. He seemed to be the leader of these cats, and she didn't want to make him upset. So Mental dipped her head respectfully. "No," the cat meowed. "They didn't lay a paw on me. Might've scared the shit out of me but I'm still standing on all fours." Fun didn't even notice the tiny calico kitten that the male had with her. She noticed him at the last moment. Her eyes lay on the kitten. "Damn - I mean darn," Fun said. "I forgot that cussing around kittens is bad. Sorry." Mental flicked her tail, slowly trying to edge around the large, muscular cat. "Soooo.... is that kit yours?" she askec casually.

Re: Maybe I'm Not So Strong Afterall [T] (Blackberry)
Ryuga watched the she-cat carefully, studying her every move. She had forced herself to relax her muscles, but she was still tense. He could see it. He nodded in response to her answer and he sat down, curling his tail around his paws. He could tell she had more to say then just that, probably a snappy remark, so he didn’t say anything more. However, when she bowed her head, Ryuga grunted and sighed heavily. “Please do not bow your head,” he said, though he chuckled at her statement. “I am not one for formalities. I am not their leader by choice,” he said honestly. The she-cat finally seemed to notice the kitten, and he looked down at it as she asked whether he was his. Ryuga couldn’t help but chuckle. “No, he is not mine. I found him, abandoned in the West side, huddle underneath a crate.,” he replied and the kitten mewed softly, looking up at Ryuga with big yellow eyes. Ryuga smiled and licked the kitten again before looking at the she-cat. He couldn’t help but smirk.
“Honestly,” he said, straightening himself, “there is no need to try and sneak off. Just go if you want to. I am in no need for you to stay, so go if you so please,” he reached down and picked up the kitten. “I need to find him a surrogate mother, anyway,” he said and walked out of the alley way, tail flicking lightly. He glanced back at the she-cat for a moment and said, “Just be careful of the cats around here for now. They’ll come around eventually, they just don’t trust too easily,” he said with a smile before he bounded off. It didn’t take long for Ryuga to find a she-cat who already had kitten about the calico kitten’s age and she was willing to take in another, as she only had 2 kittens. Ryuga placed the kitten on the ground, licking the top of his head again and smiled at the black and white she-cat. “Thank you, May, this is greatly appreciated,” he said and the gentle she-cat just smiled and took the kitten to her kittens.
Ryuga turned and left, tail flicking happily, glad he had found the kitten a good home. May was a great mother. She had had two litters before and they had become excellent cats of the North. None had turned, all taking on May’s kindness and strong sense of justice. The large tom jumped onto a park bench, sitting on top of it and looking around the city as far as he could see. His thoughts drifted to the she-cat and he wondered if she was alright.

Fun wasn't about to let him change his mind. She darted through a hole she had never seen in the fence and entered the next alleyway. She spotted a fire escape, old and rusty and also had some crusted bird poo on it. Mental climbed on it, her tail flicking back and forth. Perhaps there was a way to get to the roof? She continued to climb up, ignoring the wide open glass doors that were a clear invitation inside. But Mental was a wild cat. She liked the outdoors. She continued climbing until she reached a staircase that was attached to the brick wall. The cat walked onto it and leaped on top of the roof. Yes. She could like it up here... a clear view of the city. As well of a clear view of the damage. Smoke rose from the destroyed buildings and she could see the ravens flying around, black smudges against the dirty orange sky. Mental lay on top, her paws resting on the ledge. Night was falling, and Mental knew she would have to stay somewhere safe. However, sleeping was not on her list. But food was. Perhaps up here was a good place after all. There were a few ravens hanging about, pecking at their feet and the ground and preening their feathers. Fun licked her lips. Was there a rule against eating the ravens? If there was, then Mental didn't care. She was so hungry, she would eat her own tail.

Re: Maybe I'm Not So Strong Afterall [T] (Blackberry)
Ryuga looked around and suddenly something caught his eye on top of a building where a lot of raven stayed overnight. He concentrated as soon, the figure of the she-cat from earlier appeared. The tom hissed softly. She probably didn’t know she wasn’t allowed to eat them here. He bounded from the bench and raced towards the building, dodging or leaping over obstacles. He darted inside the building and up the flights of stairs. He almost tripped over one, however, he caught himself. A minute later, he burst onto the rooftop, sliding to a stop along the ground. The ravens all startled and took flight. Ryuga looked at the she-cat, his golden yellow eyes staring at her. “Eating the ravens is not allowed in the North. Even if you are new here, I shall not let you break that rule,” he said with a huff and sat down, taking a deep breath and catching his breath quickly. “If you are hungry,” he said,” there is a large chicken coop I could show you. I have managed to keep it under control. It’s very large and you can have one. Need to be able to let them breed, after all. Though no chicks. And go for a rooster, we have too many of them,” he said.
“Come on,” he said with a huff, he went through the building and walked out the door, before he went to the back of the North region, where a chicken farm, all fenced off with chicken wire, at least a kilometre long and 500 metres back. He looked at the cats patrolling the area and he nodded at them. Patrolling wasn’t needed, but most of the cats decided to so the other regions didn’t steal them, and so the food could go around easily. He pushed the door open and stepped in, waiting for the she-cat to step in.

Fun found herself snarling. "Are you telling me what to do?" she spat, fur bristling. She didn't care if he was leader or not. She didn't care if he was leader of the frogs for all she cared. No cat would order her around like she was some dumb cat. "I don't care who you are or about your dumb promise with the ravens," she said. "Those ravens are prey. And I'm going to eat them. What kind of animal just watches fresh food fly by and doesn't do anything about it? Not me. You can starve to death but I'm not." With the flick of her tail she glanced after the ravens. They were heading towards some kind of black building that was not so far away. If she ran fast enough then maybe she could catch up with them. Or maybe it was common sense - go and get the chickens before the cat changes its mind. But Mental was too stubborn. She began to pad down the fire escape.

Ryuga looked around and saw the she-cat was nowhere to be found. He hissed lightly before he went and killed a rooster. He padded back, rooster his between his teeth and he paused at the door, long enough for someone to push it open. Once it opened, the tom cat bounded out and went back to the building he had spoken to the she-cat previously. He looked around and he eventually found her. He ran over to her, dropping the rooster in front of her. “I am terribly sorry if I had offended you,” he said, bowing his head slightly. “You may have this if you so wish,” he said, tapping the rooster with his fore paw. His silvery white ears flicked back slightly, listening behind him. The ground rumbled slightly and the tom cat tensed. Suddenly everything around them shook and a building next to them, its windows cracked slightly. He hissed slightly, looking around the city and watched the all the cats ran for cover. It was uncertain how bad it would be. The tom crouched on the ground and picked up the rooster and looked at the she-cat, hoping she would follow him as he moved into a smaller building which already had no windows. He moved into the building’s basement and looked around, hoping she had followed him.

Instead of leaving, Mental had just stood there, perched on the fire escape rail, unsure whether or not to leave or not. She perked her ears and turned her head as she heard voices. There was that tom again, and this time he had food. She tried to prevent drool from pooling out of her jaws as he set the rooster in front of her. "Thanks for the gift," Mental said, a rusty purr rumbling in her throat. Her ear flicked as he picked up the rooster and padded into the basement. She narrowed her eyes. "Hey, get back here!" she cried, racing after him.
