"Because I have a baby! She's laying right there!" she snapped. Patience flicked her ears and whinnied when she heard the loud voices. She blinked up at them, unsure of what was going on.

I saw my brother with my mate and came galloping in and rearing as I bit at my brothers neck

She tossed her head. "Because." She snorted in alarm and instinctively moved so that she was protecting her baby.

Apollo moved closer to Terra frightened, " Ash!" He yelled seeing the bullet wound. Panicked he took off bolting away but one man on a pretty paint mare caught up and roped him. He reared fighting to break free till he was choking, the ripe was so tight. The man started walking him away as he made horrible sounding noises, gasping for air.

Ruby took off with Chua at a steady trot, letting out occasional grunts.

I reared and let my front legs land on the rope, the rope fell from the mans hands and I bucked at the horse, hitting the horse in the side. I got Apollo to run away

Terra whinnied and went to go after Apollo. Patience le out tiny cries when her mother left her side. Terra reared and nieghed at them. "Let him go!"

Terra felt her heart twist in nots when Patience let out frightened bleets. She bent down and licked her, hoping to give her comfort. The filly stood and rubbed her head up and down Terra's legs and cowered beneath her. This was not what Terra had intended to happen on her foal's first day into the world.
