When the alpha brute asked her if she'd like to join the pack, she flicked her ears thoughtfully and looked blankly at the fish in front of her. She wasn't on planning on joining the pack, but they were much more friendly than her old pack, who were just stern and the alpha there didn't like her father so they treated them all like crap. Finally after thinking, she nodded and turned to Durnal, giving a quick wag of her tail. "I'd love to," she said and leaned down, eating another part of the fish.

Chakotay sat up, laughing. "I'm fine, you two. If falling out of trees was life threatening, I wouldn't do it." He nuzzled Genocide and boxed to Durñål.

Genocide laughed and climbed on Chakotay's chest. "Grrrrrr...." She growled.

Katniss finished the fish and then moved back. She didn't eat one, and turned to the two wolves playing around. One female, she guessed, and one male. She looked towards Durnal, giving him a pleading look, eyes big and round. "Can you please give me a wolf tour?" she asked, her voice small. She wasn't used to having to talk so loud since most of the time she was talking to herself.

Durnal nodded and smiled. "Of course." I replied, a gleam in my emerald eyes. "I'll come to, Dad." Dakota insisted. Taking Katniss to the lower ranks. "This is Oaky the Omega, Lobo and Nick the Scouts, and Fiery, Rocky, Rico, Leah, and Aurath the Adults." I told her. "That grey male over there is Chakotay, the Delta. My mate Pelican is over there, and that's Nakomi." I added, telling her the higher ranks. "That's pretty much everyone except for-" I was cut off by my little brothers voice. "Durnal, who is this?" He asked. "This is Katniss. Katniss this is Blaze, my brother and the Beta of my pack." I introduced them. Blaze was a white male with deep brown eyes, standing 4'8 at the head. "Pleased to meet you, Katniss. Forgive my hostility." Blaze said, dipping his head.

Katniss looked at the white wolf and instantly had some sort of respect for him, but she didn't understand why. Katniss gave him a quick friendly lick on the shoulder, showing her respect, before stepping back. "Pleased to meet you," she said in a friendly tone, her tail wagging. She turned to Durnal and then Dakota. "Thank you," she said, her tongue lolling in a happy manner, her brown/yellow eyes bright. "I'm glad I could be here."

Blaze nodded, a handsome smile now on his face. Blaze was always a good-looking brute, but his personality was snappier than Durnal's. Durnal now looked down at his red and black beaded necklace, sighing heavily. He loved his necklace. For his father had given it to him as a pup.

Genocide looked up at Chakotay, a smile on her face. "Chakotay." She said, quietly. "You are he best friend I ever had." She said.

Chakotay licked Genocide's nose, growling playfully back at her. He glanced over at the new fae, and dipped his head. "I apologize as well. I've been otherwise occupied." The brute said politelly, and then shifted over to Blaze. "And if a new, tiny fae ever shows up, that's Nanuk. Watch out for her, she's a mean one."

Genocide smiled warmly. Blaze glanced at Chakotay, and gulped but nodded. "I'll be sure to speak to her about hurting Genocide." Blaze replied. Genocide smirked and leaped on Chakotay's back. "Rawr!" She growled. Durnal padded over. "I think you will be the mentor to Genocide, Chakotay." He said. "Can he!" Genocide yipped.

Chakotay nipped playfully at her shoulder, bopping her nose with his paw. He looked over at Durnal, and nodded. "Of course. I wouldn't want anything else. But what about Brakeon? Is Blaze going to mentor him?"

"Yes. Braekon will mentor Braekon. I'll mentor Dakota." Durnal replied. Genocide yipped with happiness. "I couldn't think of any other Wolf I'd want as my mentor!" She said happily, her blue-green eyes happy.

Chakotay grinned, and rolled over. "You seemed to like Nanuk pretty well. But after she left you like that, I wouldn't go back." He licked the top of her head, and pulled her close. "I promise, little one, that I will never, ever leave you. Leaving you means leaving everything I love behind. Nakomi, you..."

Genocide smiled, and snuggled into his pelt. "Your right. She can stay a friend, but nobody comes close to you." Genocide said, a smile on her face. Wait. Did he really LOVE her? She thought she had feelings for him to. She thinks it, but doesn't feel it.

Chakotay smiled, and closed his eyes. "I hope Nakomi doesn't get to jealous." He whispered mischievously, glancing back and forth between the two. "I'd hate for my two favorite girls to get in a tiff."

Genocide smiled. She scuffled her paws nervously. "I love you to, Chakotay." She replied.

Chakotay grinned. "Don't you forget it. And when you're a big wolf, and you meet a brute of your own, you better not forget me." He laughed, and flicked his ears.

She smiled, "I will. I could never forget you." She replied, and licked his cheek.

"The brute who gets you will be very lucky." Chakotay returned her lick, and looked over at Durnal. "Try not to chase them all away." He joked.

Durnal chuckled. "She's not going to be near any brute that isn't like you, Chakotay." He replied. Genocide giggled, and nuzzled Chakotay's broad shoulder.

"Stay away from the ones who like eating mushrooms to hallucinate, alright, Genocide?" He chuckled, and looked back over at Durnal with a silent thank you in his eyes.

Genocide smiled, and nodded. "I will." She replied, rolling her beautiful blue-green eyes.

Chakotay stretched. "I need to go talk to Blaze." He stood, and padded over to Blaze. "You okay?"

"Uh, yeah. I'm fine." Blaze replied, a smile on his face.

Chakotay squinted. "No. Something is bothering you." He whispered, and nudged Blaze. "I think you can trust me by now, Blaze. If we need to go else where for you to tell me, then we can do that."
