Shini Gami tilted her head at the display. She chuckled,her smirk growing and growing. Her form was slowly changing,a small notice of her chin splitting was seen. A light black shadow swirled around a Shadow Fox. It seeped into its shaded flesh before letting out a howl. It's brothers and sisters joined in. The pentagram below raised as if taking a deep breath. Lights.. Little orbs of many colors flew from it. They joined into the foxes.

The two clones ran together side by side, tails intertwining. The started to drop towards the ground, by the pentagram. As soon as their paws touched the ground, a small flower began to grow. The flower was barely sprouting off the ground as the other fox stepped on it, leaving a spark behind. The spark touched the flower and it grew instantly, becoming almost a foot tall. The orange-tipped fox started to dig on the ground. After a few seconds of digging, the fox just slipped below the earth. It became translucent, but not entirely invisible. It started to sink slow, then faster. The remaining clone went off towards the border line, leaving faint sparks behind it.

As one of the mature foxes rushed toward the flower,Shini Gami hissed at it. It quickly coward in fear,backing up to it's brethren and standing still. Shini Gami watched this little /display/ as the split on her chin broke down to her neck. It jerked open,teeth showed on the line of it. She now had twin jaws,both with teeth and a snake tongue. She looked toward the flower,sighing. "Is that all?"

The orange-tipped fox had poked it's head from the ground, still translucent. It was eyeing the Death God with a disgusted look on it's face as it looked at her jaw. It stepped out of the ground now, holding a purple root in it's jaw. The blue-tipped fox came back too, some blood on her paws. She dove towards the flower and ripped off it's violet petal, placing it gently on it's nose. Both of the foxes raced off towards Hachiman. Hachiman took the purple root from the fox's jaws and formed it into a ball, then blew on it. The ball shimmered in the sun for a moment, then it exploded. It made a popping sound like a ruptured balloon. Another clone was born, except the tail was lime green. It's tails were wrapped around with vines, though they still could move. The petal floated around him, falling on one of his tails. The petal grew into him, causing something to grow out of his tails. A paw reached out, almost clawing for something to grab on to.

Shini Gami watched again,looking at the birthing processes so far. She counted the foxes,but seeing nothing really powerful about them. They sure had a right of mind though,looking at her with disgust. Like she was the animal! Psh! She snarled in her mind before rising to her pads. "Are we going to fight yet? I hate to be standing with nothing to do ya know?"

Hachiman's tails kept moving, oblivious to the paw. The paw extended to it's full length, and another fox head came out. This time, the fox was pale gold. It only had two tails instead of the other clones' three. It stayed at Hachiman's feet, smaller then the other three clones. "You know I'm not aggressive." He said, the clones lining up. The golden one went off to join the other clones, it's tail tips blood red.

"Having them fight for you then?" she grinned. "Even I wouldn't do that! I play fair. I would've fought you alone while my kits stare. But,if this is how it's going.." she looked towards her cubs. They were all in a battle stance,the smallest of the litter was barking while the eldest,or the tallest was showing it's fascinating rows of teeth.

Hachiman shrug his head. "Why did you summon all of the cubs then? My foxes aren't for our battle." He finished, still disgusted by the her teeth. One of the tail's tips started to shake. Then a low cloud started to drift towards her cubs from behind him. It was cracked with electricity, while the clones stood prepared.

Shini Gami looked at her kits. "Their for soul collecting. I couldn't get all of them myself. Plus,their a neat alley if things get over powering." she looked up to Hachiman,smirking at his display. She never knew he had some kits of his own. So many things you learn in a day!

Hachiman glared at her, then the kits. "If you intend to take my souls, I will take yours. In one way or another at least." He said, though he was wary of her movements. He didn't want to go all out in just the first few minutes of combat, but he wasn't going to hold back. The clones, as if they were connected to him, moved closer. They connected their tails, pointing them forwards, straight towards the Death God. Each of the tails shot out a beam of their color at the seemingly empty space. Hachiman sent out the cloud farther, causing the beams to become pulled together. Once they all hit the cloud, the cloud began to widen, but left the middle empty. The beams followed each other closely, but didn't touch. They made a circle, and a tiny, bright orb started to form at the middle of it. It began to widen, and the beams circled faster.

"Not yours,stupid god." One of the mature foxes spoke in it's dark tone. It was one with a green vibe around it. It's tails counted to three,flowers sprouting off it's body as a vine wrapped from it's left ear to right eye to cover them both. His jaw expanded to show he had no teeth. "Now now,Mourn. Let's not attack so quickly,let's watch the display of lights." she said,simply implying to the orbs.

Hachiman eyed the one that had spoken out. He was surprised that they had a personality, or one like that. "I'll make sure to cleanse you later." He said loud enough for the fox to hear. The orb began to expand, causing the sky to lighten. The beams started to circle so fast that they became a constant bar of color. The rest of the circle expanded quickly, sucking in the colors. Then a body came out of the orb, flailing in the air. Another one came after the body, grabbing it's scruff. More foxes spilled out of the orb, some standing around the clones.

"Cleanse? Bah! I was a killer in my past life,and I am a killer now. We all are!" he barked out the last words,howls from a few of his /brethren/ accepted the statement. "Mommy,can we fight yet?" the cub asked,her eyes giving off that innocence that screamed "Please!". Shini Gami shook her head. "No Taiya. Wait!" she grew impatient at the young one.

Hachiman cocked his head in mock confusion. "Oh? Then when I get my hands on you I will make you suffer for the rest of eternity, provided that I don't rip it to pieces in the process." He said, while some of the foxes spilling out from the war still had blood on them. The warriors that had died in the battle were coming out now, and some foxes were even casting a pale glow.

Mourn laughed,a paw stretching outward as his tails lashed. "We'll have to see about that." he was ready to leap after Hachiman until Shini Gami burst into laughter. "Are you serious? How you can switch sides so easily Hachiman!" she laughed,her twin mouths mimicking each other. The cubs tilted their heads,staring at her with confusion.

Hachiman turned his gaze towards the god, barely able to look at her face. Several other warriors backed away in revulsion. "You laugh at Hachiman for you're scum yourselves." One of the clones spoke out, the blue-tipped one. "Enemies are treated as such." The pale gold fox chimed in. Several other foxes shouted words as well, slowly advancing towards the pups.

Shini Gami couldn't stop laughing,especially after those words. "Ah,I've heard worse. Try being called Vermin. It gets old eventually." she said with an evil grin. The kits started to stiffen,getting ready to leap at the foxes. They weren't scared,they never were..

Hachiman flicked his tail, calling the clones to silence. They lowered their eyes and whined, but still glared at the shadow pups. The shining foxes got back into position, the faint glow the sign of many wars and time spent in his domain. Most of the foxes, especially the ones with blood on them, still snarled. Several of them leaped at the shadow pups, but the were frozen in mid-air. The rest seemed to slam into a rubber, and bounced back. Others tried to cross the line, but the pale gold clone waved her tail around. A line of golden fire was growing, separating the two forces. Seeing that all was quieter, the fox let the line of fire disappear.

Her kits knew better not to attack without command. Shini Gami walked across to her children,walking with a hidden pride as she examined them all. They all snarled at her,showing how much they wished to just leap across. Shini Gami sat down in the middle,turning to see the row of fire. So that's it's element? Hmph.

The pale gold fox looked concerned as the Death God examined it's disappearing row of fire. But it was connected to all the clones, who instantly caught it's thinking. Several thoughts were sent it's way, each coming towards it. It shook it's head, almost as if it was getting rid of the thoughts. Of course it wasn't, but it helped finalize it's resolve.

Hachiman roared, causing the warriors to chant. The portal closed, causing the beams to come back to their owners. A bright light flashed as each foxes' tail was dipped in the color, turning the whole tail the color, not just the tips. They roared with him, while reciting chants. The red tailed fox sent out a golden flame around the back of the shadow pups, growing the flame higher and higher, keeping them from backing up too far.

The cubs didn't even budge. They saw the flames,but didn't jump ahead or bother talking about it. Shini Gami sat up,her eyes showing nothing. She walked forward,showing no one,not even her thoughts knew her own target. Her aura burst out of her paws,looking like transparent flames engulfing her body. It expanded down through her tail,leaving a trail behind her in flaming pawprints. "Ready?" she hissed.

Hachiman began to tense too, the bony whip around him extending. Another bony extension came from his back, hanging over his head. More bones began to stretch from his body, some pointing out like spikes, while others were moving around him. Stepping up, he began to charge at the Death God, trying to get the fight started. It wasn't just a mindless tactic, he had many plans in his head, each one beginning with her first move.

Shini Gami continued walking forward,her eyes narrowing. "Hmm,who to attack first?" she asked with a hiss. It was more referred to her. The kits walked after her,their noses high in the air.

Several warriors came after him, while the clones more or less moved with the wave. His bony whips spread out, covering a distance. Warriors began to spread out, but they weren't going for his target, Shini Gami. He was beginning to close the gap, his whips aligning themselves up with her position. It covered the remaining distance in leaps and bounds, and aimed to headbutt the god.

Shini Gami's head lifted. She leaped into the air,flying over Hachiman. She stared down to the god,but her eyes fixed on the others. She was weak.. To her at least. She needed some souls to power her up,one way or the other..
