Chakotay looked around, muttering to himself. He started to run, paws kicking up dirt as he ran. Finally, he found what he was looking for. "Gah, she'll think I'm stupid." He whispered, gently pulling a single, light pink flower from a small patch. The wolf trotted back, and dropped it at her feet.

Pelican coming up to them, pink flashing at the corner of her eyes making her sneer in disgust. " Ew pink." Pelican snarled then motioned for Chakotay to follow her.</sub>

Chakotay nodded, keeping to her side as he followed. He chuckled at Pelican, staying behind her instead of right by her side like he had done with Nakomi. "He is your brother, what do you think he will say?"

Pelican chuckled, setting rules out for Chakotay that he should follow when speaking to Lucifer. " First off, when he is speaking to you don't make eye contact as much, don't make it seem like your mad he can sense that, and last don't be a smart ass and listen to what he says. Because he'll only say it once." Glancing over at him, she grinned. " But don't worry, he won't tear you apart, since I'm there. The male is practically terrified of me." Pelican shook her head in shame, laughing some before melting into the mouth of a cave. Calling out to Lucifer and Delilah. A massive brute emerged from the darkness as well as Delilah. Lucifer eyeing Chakotay theough narrowed eyes.

Chakotay nodded, blinking in surprise. When the large brute stepped out, Chakotay looked down at the ground, glancing up now and then to look at him. "Lucifer. I am sure you've noticed my.. love for Nakomi."

Pelican stepped back as Lucifer growled, his head tipping up. " Yes I have noticed.. What makes you think I can trust that you won't hurt my daughter?" He snarled, Delilah touching his shoulder lightly to calm him fown.

Chakotay sucked in his breath sharply, hoping he could play his cards right. "Because she is the only thing in this pack that can make me happy, why would I hurt her? I don't want to take her anywhere, I just want you to be okay with me loving her. "

I watched them carefully. "Like hell! If Lucifer thinks that Chakotay would hurt Nakomi he is far more than wrong." I snarled, disputing the older Alpha. I knew Lucifer wasn't scared of me, but I wasn't scared of him, and he could say whatever he wanted about me, but he better not think for one instant I will treat him like royalty and a King. He deserves respect, like every Alpha does. "Durnal, I agree with you. Lucifer can think he's stronger than everyone else, but I know that you could possibly be stronger. Besides, he's an Elder, 10 years in fact." Blaze said, coming to my side. "Blaze, keep it down! If either of them hear you, they'll tear you apart. But as long as I'm here, NOBODY lays a claw on you." I whispered, watching them with Blaze from afar.

Chakotay glanced up at Lucifer, silently awaiting his reply.
