Pelican snorted,
watching them.
She stood up,
muscles rippling as she padded past Durnal,
Blaze,
and Avalon.
Snapping her head around,
she let out a growl.
" I'm going to go hunt.
No one follow me.
I know you Durnal,
to protective of me."
She snarled with a hint of amusement,
then leaped forward.
A thundering growl echoing as she bounded off,
vanishing within the shadows.

Pelican fell light to her feet,
like a feather.
She stealthily,
padded between trees and bushes,
not make a sound.
She let her eyes swirl in a blaze to locate the scent of a elk.
She bounded off towards the sense,
sliding to a sudden halt,
she kept her eyes on the large beast.
Tail lashing,
body swaying.
Claws extended more firmly,
and canines prieing their way through her gums.

Out of nowhere, a male jumped on the elk and killed it. He was a gray male with yellow eyes. "Looking for this Fae?" He asked, with flirty smile. "I'm Drako." He said in a flirtytone.

Pelican snapped herself up sharply,
bristling fur as well as electrifying blue orbs that hardened as she glared at the brute.
She let a echo of a thundering growl erupt between her lips,
letting herself be seen she swatted a paw at the male.
Not caring for him a tall,
she caught sight of blood from his muzzle that her claws had connected to.
She snarled,
ears lacing back.
" I have no interest in you brute,
so leave my territory. Or else!"
She snapped,
in a loud bark mixture of a snarl.
She jerked her massive head forward to snap at his muzzle aggressively.
Lips curling back in disgust.
Her velevt black coat sparkled from the hairs that rose from anger.

"Oh c'mon. We can go somewhere. Anywhere you want." He flirted. I heard Pelican's yowls and barks, before dashing into the forest. There I found Pelican with a Brute, and I roared like thunder. "You get away from my mate." I snarled harshly.
He sneered at me. "Who's gonna stop me?" He shot back with a snarl. "I will!" I barked, rising to full height at 6'4, my green eyes mixing with blue and red. He threw himself at me, and sank his teeth into my shoulder. Roaring with pain, I whipped around and threw him into a rock before sinking my teeth into his throat.
And there he lay dead. "Some Brutes..." I spat, before turning to Pelican. "I believe this is yours." I said, handing the elk over to her.
