Reason Or No Reason?(Silver Shadows)
Jeyden had been up way before the sun even rose. Getting dressed into a white singlet top and a blue blaid shirt and jeans, Jeyden ran a hand through her semi straight, pitch black hair. With a sigh, she pulled on some socks and boots and, grabbing her ipod, she trecked out the house. Shutting the door behind her, Jeyden didn't lock it. Nobody came this far into the bush anyway. So what was the use? With a light sigh, Jeyden walked through the bush. Pushing branches and leaves out of the way, Jeyden came to a river. Smiling, she wondered just how long this bush would stay a bush. Promising herself and the bush that she'd protect it, Jeyden trecked down the edge of the river.
She was happy here. Most of the people either didn't know who she was or didn't care and never asked questions. There were a few, though, who were always trying to stick their noses into her business. But, out in the bush, she was alone and could do whatever she felt like. Turning on her ipod, Jeyden flicked through the songs until she found What I've Done by Linkin Park. Turning the sound down to half way, Jeyden put the headphones in her ears and then continued down the river.
After a while, she came to the back of a farm which was owned by a couple in their 30s. The husand's parents lived with them, also. The father was a bossy old man who was very picky. Like his son. Wheras, the mother was gentle and sweet. The wife of the son was a quiet woman who didn't socialise much. But Jeyden did know she was about 3 months pregnant.
Grinning, Jeyden climbed over the fence and made her way up to the house. Watching the people who were working in the paddocks for a moment, Jeyden knocked on the door when she saw a man a couple years older then her walking towards the chicken coup. She hadn't seen him, before. The door opened and Jeyden looked over to see the husband standing there, looking gruff and grumpy as always. "Hey, George." Jeyden said with a grin. The man grumbled something under his breath which sounded like a hello and his mother came out.
The woman was about 57 with short, curly grey hair. She reached about Jeyden's shoulders and her eyes were a kind hazel colour. The woman smiled and walked up to Jeyden and gave her a hug. "Jeyden, good to see you again, lovey," the woman said. "Hey, Leila," Jeyden said lightly. Leila had had George when she was 20, which would make the man 38. Hm. He looked older. Maybe that was because he was always yelling at people.
Together, Jeyden and Leila walked aimlessly around the farm and Jeyden looked at a man collecting chicken eggs. Stopping about 10 metres away from the gate of the coup, Jeyden looked at Leila, asking, "So, who's he? Haven't seen him around before," she gestured to the man. Leila followed it and then grinned. "Just a new guy. He's been here for.. oh I don't know, a week or so, maybe? The woman replied.
"Hmmmm," Jeyden repeated softly, watching the man for a moment. Looking back at Leila, the woman, shooed Jeyden off, saying, "Go do something useful, already," Jeyden grinned in response as the woman walked off.

Re: Reason Or No Reason?(Silver Shadows)
The beeping of his clock sounded into his ears. Cody hit the clock several times before finally, it went up. Sighing, he jumped out of bed and hurried into the bathroom looking at himself in the mirror; his hair was a mess and he just looked at mess himself. Grabbing his toothbrush, he hurried and brushed his teeth. Then, he grabbed mouthwash and swished it around and spit it out before flossing. He hurried and got dressed. Now he wore some worn out jeans and a dark red T- shirt. Hurrying outside, he hurried and went to check the plants. They were alright and the sprinklers already atoumatically went on. He went and checked on the animals now. He went to check the sheep and his 2 horses and then his dog. He went and checked on the chickens, seeing they had laid eggs. They chirped recklessly as he collected the eggs. "Good job, now I can get more money." he sighed and backed away out the chicken coop. Turning, he saw his neighbor and waved. "Hello!" he said. But then, he noticed a girl. Someone about his age, maybe younger. He'd never saw her around before. He looked down and held the eggs.
It was probably he moved in a week ago from Flordia. He had to because money was growing higher there. He liked this small town a lot and the neighbors were peaceful...
