Elena slept slightly, only to hear the loud beeping sound coming from the alarm, she slammed her hand on the snooze bottom. She grunted, swinging her legs over the edge of her bed. Elena ruffled her smooth hair back, pressing her hands upon the bed she stood up slowly. Stretching her limps, Elena walled silently over to the bathroom door. Reaching out to open it, but before to could grip the doors handle, her brother, Jeremy flung the door open. Door-Elenas face, she stumbled back. " Ow! Jeremy what are you doing?!" Elena exclaimed. Her hand on her forehead.
Jeremy gasped, " Oh I'm so sorry Elena. I didn't-" He was cut off when Elena said it was okay. Jeremy nodded, shoving. Past his sister and running downstairs, before he left, he grabbed a bag of wed and dsshedbot the door without any hesitation.
Elena sihsd heavily, strolling into the bathroom and turning on the shower. She stripped down, then jumped into the shower, beginning to rinse her hair. She daydreamed of her mother and father as she leaned up against the side of the wall, water drizzling down the curves of of her body.. after she was done, Elena climbed out of the shower. Wrapping a towel around her, she opened the door and scouted through her closet. Soon finding a pretty shirt that was laced wig a line black ribbon that wrapped around the waistband and the shirt itself was sleeveless and white with a beautiful red rose, then taking out her light grey skinny jeans.. Once she was done changing, Elena ran downstairs. Grabbing her car keys of the table and flashing out the door calling out over her shoulder bye to her Aunt Jenna. Elena drove down too school, parking in the lot next to her friends car. Bonnie and Caroline waiting for her outside Bonnie's ride. Caroline was a vampire, Damon, Stefan, and plenty of others are in Mystic Falls.

Once school started, adn the bell rang for first hour. Elena and Caroline walked into Social Studies class, sitting in teh far back of the room. She put her bag in her lap and leaned forward in her chair. Hand resting under her chin, she tapped a pen on teh desk. Bored with this class already, she went into a daze... Carolince nudged her awake, " Elena.. Elena, wake up. Its time for second hour." She said softly. Elena groaned, whipping sleep away, she stood up and followed Caroline out of the classroom. Bonnie ran up next to me. Elena smiled at her, then at the corner of her eye she seent eh image of her old childhood friend Dove. Gasping slightly, she threw ehr ehad up and whirled around, making sure that was Dove. A huge smile danced upon her face as she flashed over to her. Coming up behind her and hugging her neck, she whispered lightly. " Dove! Oh my god! It-It's really you.. It's Elena, Dove.." She said, releasing her grip and twirled around infront of her. Caroline and Bonnie walking up next too Elena.

School. Typical school. Dove loved school. It was about, the only thing that made her feel normal. Other than that, ya had to deal with being the next Alpha. Yeah, weird right? Now, Dove was just not ordinary. Nope, she may looked like the most normalest girl you'd ever meet, long hair, naturally waved. Wearing normal clothes. No, she was actually the most feared in school along with her brother and her brother and her... whole pack. Yeah, pack. She was the next Nightshade Alpha. Now, she did have a best friend named Damon, and he was feared... not feared because he was a wolf... he was a vampire. Yep, he was the one who tasted ones blood without hesitation. Though he didn't drink the blood of a Guardian, so that's how they became simple friends. It's hard to explain this alpha's life for she seems to try to forget her past and move on with the future... Ring! Ring! Ring! Dove lifted her head to the school bell which rang nosily in her ears. She looked around and saw the note in which Damon had wrote her. She looked over and smiled, rolling her eyes at him. She was so caught up in writing Biology that she didn't even notice she'd recieved something from him. She looked at the note and slowly took it off the desk gripping it tightly while she threw her bookbag over her shoulder to head towards the next class. Eyes scanned the paper, and lips moved rapidly and she almost laughed as it said: Dove you work too hard. You own a pack. Being a wolf is the best thing you've got. Stop trying to be a nerd girly, your too cool for that. So anyway, meet you and your "pack" at lunch next period. Typical Damon. She kind of had a crush on Damon over-time. He made her feel better, and so good feeling. He was her up when she was down, but she knew he'd probably not feel that way. They were just friends. She had to remind herself that. But it felt like fire even though they just touched shoulders and even though he sometimes tried acting all badboyish. Inside, he was really sweet, once you've opened up to him Heading towards the cafe', to go eat... and meet Damon, still staring at the letter and using the best of her senses to lookout for someone she might run into, she didn't notice a girl though. Soon, she bumped into the girl, and looked up, snarling. "Watch it!" she snapped. When the girl looked suddenly surprised, instead of frightened or angry, Dove cocked her head when the girl said her name, and hugging her neck, saying her name was... Elena... E;ena...Elena. Though Dove tried to come up with that name, it didn't ring a bell and her face end up balling up with confusion. "Hello...Elena." she said and stepped back one bit to get away from the girl's closness just to see her... "followers" with her.

Dove snarled at the girl when she flashed fangs, narrowing her eyes. She stared at the girl for a long second, and then turned when Elena... asked her if she didn't remember her. She sighed, and thought again but nothing came in sight in her memory of an Elena. "No I'm sorry." she murmured. She felt bad that she didn't remember an Elena. Was she... a friend from the mall? A friend she meant somewhere? Some aquantiance of distant friend? She didn't know, but she had so much people to keep up with that she couldn't even keep count. As she was shoved lightly past the girl, she tried not to snarl. She got to keep her fangs held, but as she past the girl in which snarled at her, she could smell the tang of witch. She hated witches! Especially since one killed her future mate, Ren and her other love Shay. She fell in love with him accidently but since they both died, she's fallen in love with someone else and she felt like a wreaked up mess! Heading into the cafe', teens already filled already the tables, chatting to one another. In the far side, on a long table stood her packmates. She caught the eye of Damon and saw Ansel, her brother. Damon's seat was open. She smiled and got in line, getting her food and walking over, sitting down. "Hey Dove," Ansel greeted her.

Dove sat down besides Ansel and Damon and popped a fry in her mouth, acting like she didn't have a care about anything in the world. She looked at her pack talk and gave a small smile and looking at Damon. "Hi." she replied. "How's life, Ansel?" she asked, turning towards her brother, popping another fry in her mouth and sitting back coolly, as if she hadn't saw a girl who said she knew her, and as if she hadn't got snarled at in the first place. Ansel smiled and, his eyes turned into excitment. "Just saw my main childhood man, Jeremey. He said Elena was around her somewhere... have you saw her?" When he said that name, Dove almost chocked on her fry. She took her pop and drank it. "Woah there Dovie, slow down," Damon laughed. "Shut up Damon!" she growled, punching him hard. He looked at her confusingly. "Damn, have you been hitting a rock, because your hits are pretty rough..." He then muttered something under his breath she didn't understand. But she didn't care. She was focused on that name. "Elena... who's Elena, An?" she asked. He looked at her. She could see he was trying to hold back his laugh. "Um... your childhood friend... you two were seprated a long time ago... that friend?" he explained. Elena... Elena... Then it all came rushing up to her in a flash: Dove finished hugging Elena, feeling like she could hug her best friend for hours and make the pain go away. But she had to leave, for something way more important then her best friend she guessed. She then felt Elena pull away and look into her eyes. Unshed tears were in Elena's eyes, as well as Dove's. "I... had fun while it lastest." she said. All through Dove's head were memories that were painful. "Promise you won't forget me," Dove asked, putting up a pinky. Elena put a hand on Dove's lifted hand, putting it down. "I don't have to promise you," she murmured. Dove finally let a tear drop and they both hugged again. Ansel got in the car, waving to Jerermy and then Dove got in the car too, and looked out the window watching Elena slowly become smallar... smallar... smallar.... She got out from her dream, looking around, eyes widending... a daydream... a memory dream. She looked at Ansel and then around the cafe' to spot Elena. Unshed tears came to her eyes and she ran to Elena, not caring if she made a scene. "I'm so sorry!"

Once Elena accepted Dove's apology, Dove felt bad. She really didn't deserve a second chance. Maybe an acceptance of apology, but not a second chance. She'd forgotten her! She had snarled at her, and probably made Elena feel like she did something wrong. Though one side of her consiouns was telling her that, the other side was telling Dove that she did deserve a second chance and that she had a pack and so much more to deal with. But if Ansel was in the pack, and he'd gone through so much how could he remember? She kept that thought deep in the back of her mind so she didn't end up saying them stupidly outloud. Dove met Elena's eyes, and skimmed over her body. She was much more... beauiful since Dove had seen her... probably more indpentent. She didn't know what to say, speechlessness casting over her mouth, Dove stammering "I-I..." over and over and over again. Stupid. "Hey look at Elena," said Ansel, coming over and whistling. He smiled at her, shoving his hands in his pockets. "You've grown some, beautiful." he said. "How's life been?" he asked and Dove looked at Ansel. She hope her didn't— "Come on and join the pack." He invited her. She just wanted to say 'Never mind my brother, you... can't' but she couldn't. She hadn't seen her friend in awhile! Nodding, she smiled. "Yeah join us." Dove felt ashamed that she let herself be so soft, that she couldn't say no to Elena. Elena was human! Human! She was gonna be with a pack. But then Dove realized, what were the odds? She already hung with a vampire and a nasty and narrow-eyed stuck witch. She shrugged it off. "Come bring... your brother over and join us when you can." She said and walked off with Ansel and sat down in her seat again,drawing her hair back. "Who 'dat?" Damon asked. Dove looked up, giving a small smile. "Elena." she answered. He whistled, eyes wide. "Woah that girl is beautiful" he said and leaned back. Dove frowned. "Shut up," she manged on saying in a strong....ish voice though it kind of hurt her that he just hitted on a girl—on her childhood friend.

She waited, and waited and eventually waited some more. Elena was taking forever, and it was bugging Dove that maybe just maybe Elena was mad at her. She had begun to ignore what Damon kept saying about Elena, though it felt like a bullet shot her everytime to heard "Oh she's hot," or, "Oh, she cute." Then it made it worse with Ansel agreeing with him. This surley was a mest up hell for Dove. Dove sat back and looked at the witch that had first snarled at her, who'd probably sensed her as a werewolf but she wasn't no werewolf... she was a Guardian. Guardian's were complete differents. Werewolves turn at full moon, Guardian's can turn whenever. Werewolves are part human and man. Guardians turned into a full wolf when they shifted. Dove could read this girl like a book, yet she couldn't at the same time... it made her mad how badly she wanted to read this girl, yet she couldn't. Caught in thought, she hadn't noticed her best warrior, Faye prodding her in the side. "Hey, hey hey hey... look." she said and Dove turned to see a guy... he was kind of handsome, and looked about... Ansel's age? Ansel went to greet him. "Yo man! You said you wanted to see my sister, here she is." he said and stepsided. She was evasdropping. She looked at him, and met his eyes, narrowing hers. Who was he? She couldn't put her finger on it until someone from the far side yelled, "Yo sup Jeremy." Her eyes widended when she saw and recongized who he was, his scent for the first time in years. She stood up, smiling and wrapping her arms tightly around his waist, pulling away. "Hey Jermy. You've grown so much, oh my god." she said, laughing and hugging him again. "How have you been?"

Dove looked as Jeremy didn't even make a move to show affection for his old friend. She did smell something weird. She stepped away and looked at him confusigly. 'Jeremy what-" she started until Elena came in front of her and told him to give her something? She smelt the scent stronger and wrinkled her nose, stepping back. She could tell Ansel regonized the scent too, because he flashed fangs. When she was pushed aside, she turned and looked at Elena. "What the--" started Ansel. Dove didn't care. Confusion clouding her thoughts, she followed him and stopped in front of him, looking more serious at him, shoving him to the locker with strong senses and stepping back. "What are you think your doing with that? It's not even funny. Your sister's right, your killing yourself. Your parents want you to live your life, not end up alongside them.. and then what would Elena have left? I may be a friend, but I'll never be her sister... tell that to me!" she growled. Elena's own brother. On... ugh. She felt a wave of nausea hit her, so much that it knocked her down. She walked beside him, leaning against the locker and sliding down to the ground, putting her hands on her head. So much has happened and all she could think is why? Why did he do this? Why did I forget her? Why is my life so messed up, and why can't I stop it? No answer. She whimpered and leaned back slowly on the cool lockers. Finally uhshed tears went to her eyes and she looked up at him. "Why?" she asked quietly. She liked Elena's brother... not in that kind of way.. but a bit. Word count: 288 Comments: She'll end up helping Jeremy and end up liking him too but.. Dean she'll really end up liking and back in a love circle.

Dove watched as Jeremy didn't even answer her. No simple answer escaped her lipss. Speechlessness? Or just the silent treatment, Dove didn't know. She growled and stood up, pressing up against him and grabbing his collar. "Answer- she started but had to cut off when Elena appeared. Great. She turned around towards her, watching the girl's every move. Nothing much. Just her and Elena and Jeremy in the hallway. Just like old times. Except they were smaller, and had more angelic faces. Even though everyone said Dove still did, but she didn't mention it much. She didn't liked to brag, because then jealousy took over a lot and she was sure to get talked about. It was common for a young teen like her. The thoughts from childhood memories snapped back to her messed up reality and she stared , watching Elena and heard her ask if she could talk to her for a moment. "Sure to the bathroom." she said and went she headed, she saw that a lot appeared: Damon, and the little "follower" or friend named Caroline. She paued. Everything was silent inside herself. She stared at Elena, then stared at Damon. Back and forth... even though Elena pulled attention away from him, he was still staring. She turned her gaze away as her heart beat unsteadily. Then in the hall of one group, and another group and just one, another person came. He had brown hair and brown eyes and it made Dove stop completely, eyes stop searching around the halls at eveyone. He was walking towards them and her heart seemed to continue with a weird and steady motion. Time seemed to slow down and it was just him. Just her. Finally time sped up again and she watched him make his way up to Elena, hugging her. She pursured her lips, and gave a confused face. He seemed to be calling Elena beautiful and excepting to see her. Of course. Everyone thought Elena was beautiful. But after that, he took a sideglance at her. She gaped, mouth opened only slightly as she met his gaze that seemed to last more than a few seconds, then he pulled away. She tried not to blush, then met Elena's gaze. "One sec," she said to the new guy, trying to keep her cool. "Come on Elena." Pulling her to the bathroom, she stopped. "What?" Comments: I just have replied. It might be a lot but hey, I'm on the computer.

Elena gasped to find herself being pulled into the bathroom. She whirled around and looked over at Dove. Sighing heavily, she opened her mouth to speak. " Tell me.. Tell me what is going on. Your not like yourself, anymore. I remember you being an outgoing and generous girl. Now... Now your just, different." Elena said softly. Crossing her arms around infront of her chest, and leaning up agaisnt a wall. She glanced at the door of the bathroom stall, and then back over at Dove. " You don't understand how surprised and happy I am that your here, again.." She said with a smile dancing upon her face. Then the smile changed into a frown, but no tears came from her eyes as she was thinking about her parents, finally she spoke once more. Not hesitating to look back up at Dove, and through her soul as she spoke her words. " I am the only one that Jeremy has left, after mom and dad died, he.. He just broke and started smoking. I-I never wanted this to happen to him, he's only 16 Dove. He doesn't need to be going through this at such a young age." She said sadness hit her word like a bullet, bursting her heart. She flintched as death reached her words, only the slightest pain showed, and the rest burned inside of her. She turned away from Dove, and looked into the mirror, drawing the water and splashing it in her face to calm her down. The echo of teh water as it fell into the pool, swirling around to sink through the holes in the small drain, the water flashing off instantly. Elena lifted her hand and grabbed some paper towels, drying off her hands and face. Elena turned to look at Dove, a frown still flashing. Bonnie unlocked her locker, grabbing her things and turning around sharply to go. But before she could get further, Bonnie stumbled back into the lockers. Stefen stood before her, glaring down at her with a curious expression. " ..Stefen.." Bonnie muttered, gribbing the edges of her books, she looked up at him. " What do you want Stefen?" She asked quietly, standing up straight and making him back away from her. Bonnie glared at him iwth unease, making him know she can easily empower him. Caroline staggered in the chair she was strapped to. Shuffling in her seat, she groaned in pain as the chains began to cut into her skin. Caroline sneered, throwing up her head instantly to see Klaus open the celler door, its rusty creeky echo stung her ears. She snarled at him, flashing her fangs. She shook herself in the chains, the chair shaking side to side. Klaus shook his head at her, smirking. Beginning to circle Caroline. " Caroline, Caroline, Caroline.. Do you know, why your here?" He asked, whirling around infront of her on his heels. His hands together and then pointing them down at her, he cocked his head and grinned, seeing her narrow her eyes at him. " You are here to get Dove, to me. If you fail.. Everyone you love will die." He said. Leaning down to look at her, " deal?" He asked, holding out a hand. Then he glanced at hers, nodding his hand. He shot his head up once again and held it high. " So that's a deal.." He then ripped the chains off Caroline, and pulled her to him. He whispered softly, the pupils in his eyes growing bigger as he spoke, and hers growing smaller. " You will retrieve Dove at any cost. If anyone gets in your way.. Kill them.." He said wiht a smirk at his last two words. Then releasing Carolien and sending her on her way. Dean narrowed his eyes at Elena curiously, then glanced at Dove before the two went intot he bathroom. Sighing heavily, he made his way through the hall, girls looking at him the whispering to themselves. He smiled at them, flashing off his wink as he passed by a group of girls. Dean stopped at his locker, opening it up and putting his things in. Locking it back up before he strolled around the halls, in search of soemthing fun to do while he waited for Elena and her friend. Stefen smirked down at Bonnie, looking from side to side of him then back at her. " Look here, Bonnie. I need you to conceal four caskets from Klaus." He said, glaring at her, he was trying to compell her. But before he could, he yowled in pain. Pressing his hands to his head, and groaning as he started to feel himself give away when Bonnie controled his mind making him start to die slowly, draining his head. Then she stopped and looked at Stefen. " You will not, get me to do anything for you. Stefen what you did has made you a threat to us. Elena loved you, but now you are nothing to her." He spat, whirling around and fast walking away from him.. Stefen sneered, weakly he looked up at Bonnie as she vanshied out of sight. He groaned, throwing his head back down upon the ground, gripping the floor below him.

Dove listened to Elena's first words, nodding and feeling offended. She wasn't the same anymore? Kind and generous? Dove went over her past and didn't see anything change about herself except getting taller and developing breast. Nothing more. Maybe Dove got a little more cautious and a lot more snappy but, she was a Guardian and Alphas had to learn to be more of a bitch so they could get their way with their pack. Well, at least that's what she was told. Over the years of Elena never not knowing what Ansel and she was, having to always move the pack from any trouble and lying they were distant cousins or friends brought pain to Dove. She never liked like to her friends about what she was. Especially her best friend. After regestering over about what Elena said she shook her head. She had changed? Elena had changed. The girl had a purse and a beautiful face that made Damon barely drool. And that annoyed Dove because he'd usually go to reach for her hand look in her eyes and it seemed to all change all because she met her best friend again. Elena was different. She was popular different but she just... Dove couldn't even explain herself. "Me different? You different." she replied and met her friend's hard stare, Dove's eyes flashing. "I may be different to you, but look here my life has been hard from the start Elena. I have to worry about other things before I could handle myself. I know you have to take care of your brother and that's exactly what I told him but I... I have to take care of so much more." When Elena looked away from Dove, before Dove could even think she took a hold of the girl's arms and pulled her into a stare. "Listen to me Elena. If you've think I changed I changed for a reason. You hear me?" Her eyes began to water. "I... just can't tell you." Comments:

Elena's gaze followed her hand, up the girl's arm and to reaching her stare. Elena narrowed her eyes at her, pulling sharply away from her gasp. She backed away, shaking her head. Tears beginnign to make a white film over her eyes. " If you can't tell me Dove.. Th-Then don't consider to talk to me. I can't believe you can't trust me anymore! We used to be such good friends! Now... Now I know how much you cared about! You sure cared about me.." He sneerde through gritted teeth, holding back tears. She wasn't drama queen, it was just that. How could Dove not tell her, does she not trust her best friend. Well I can see why, me and her just recently reunited. But its off as a rough start... Elena thought to herself. Looking at the ground, then back up and Dove. Her expression began to change to serious anger. Eyes flashing with rage, and fists clentching. Elena knew she couldn't and wouldn't hurt her, to much of a sister to her. She relaxed and quickly met Dove's gaze before whirling around and bursting through the bathroom door. Snatching up her things and bolting away down the hall. Flashing out the school doors. She whipped tears from her eyes as she began to walk home. Bonnnie threw her head up to hear the bathroom door burst open. Her head shot up to see Elena. Narrowing her eyes in curiousity, she went after Elena. Then the whispers of the dead came to her, she follwoed the whispers into the bathroom. Stopping instantly to see Dove. Bonnie gasped, stumbling back. Then her gaze hardened, takin a step forward. " I know waht you are.. What did you do to Elena?!" She spat harshly, holding her head high. Caroline stalked into teh schoo hallway, looking from side to side. Her eyes scanning the area around her. Then she widened her eyes to see Elena, flashing off after her. Caroline was soon next to her. " Elena what's wrong? Did Dove hurt you?" She asked. Then snapped out of the thought and knew what she needed to do. But didn't just yet.. She wanted to know waht was wrong with Elena. Stefen watched throught he window as Elena and Caroline talked. He smirked, darting out of the school and behind the two. He stopped, as well as Caroline. Stefen grinned at Elena.. " Elena " He spoke with his velvet voice. He watched as Elena stopped and turned around slowly. Elena was surprised to hear Caroline. She was about to answer her question until someone called out her name, the voice of Stefen rang in her ears. She gasped as the voice in teh words had her shudder as she turned to see Stefen standing behind them. Her heart skipped 'till it seemed to freeze. " Stefen " She said with sadness in her words. ELena with wide eyes glared at her. Shakign her head, telling herself this isn't the sight she wanted to see right now. " Klaus.. Is Klaus here?" She said, stepping forward to stand infront of him. Stefen smirked down at her, nodding slowly. Thats when Elena stumbled back into Caroline and shook her head 'NO'.
