Raksha looked at him for a couple of seconds, she cocked her head and studied him for a bit. "Amelia" she answered him. She didn't want to give him her name yet, until she could trust him a little bit more. She followed his gaze to the door, "and you? What would your name be?" she asked him.

Aiden

I nod "Aiden" I say and stand up slowly. "Well, I would ask you to lunch or something but ya know" I tease, then open the door. "I'll be back, when will you be released?" I ask her, leaving my hand on the doorknob and already listening in on the heartbeats of everyone passing. All this healing was setting my metabolism all out of synch. I would have to feed every couple of hours for a while, probably.

Raksha glared at him, "Just because I agree'd to help you doesn't mean we're best buds now" she said bluntly. "I don't know, they might want to keep for another night, but I'll get out of here soon" she said, she already felt better, her side was stitched up and the blood that had been lost was regained. She sat up, and found that her side had stopped hurting as much.

Aiden

"I wouldn't really bring you to lunch" I say with a soft snort and leave the room. I walk down the hall until I find the room they kept their blood. I try the door, but it's locked. Rolling my eyes, I twist the knob a little further until it breaks. I walk inside and shut the door behind me. Opening one of the fridges, I pull out a few pouches of the crimson liquid and break through the plastic easily. The coolness of it was almost sickening, but I fought back the urge to hurl and focused on the flavor.

Raksha scoffed, "well I'm glad we're on the same page then" she said as he left. She mumbled under her breath, what was she getting into? She couldn't wait to get her hands around the man who had killed her family, ruined her life and brought her here, to this part of her life where walking out into the street was dangerous. She detached the IV drip from her wrist's and winced as she sat up and swung her legs over the bed. "You've been through worse" she said to herself. As she got up, she held her side as she did and bit her lip. She would have to take it easy if she didn't want to rip out her stitching. She sucked in a breath and looked for her clothes, she found her jeans and quickly put them on, careful around the bandaged area. She looked around, she couldn't find her shirt...it was probably a bloody mess anyways.

Aiden

I finish the little meal and lick the remaining ribbon of crimson liquid from my lips. The plasic bags fell into the disposal bin with a quiet thud, and some of the blood dipped out into the metal bottom. I step out into the white, sterile hallway and shut the door behind me. Nobody seemed to take notice to my trespassing, so I stroll casually past the main desk and outside. I quickly pull my sunglasses up over my eyes to avoid the blinding sunlight. It was a bright, warm, summer day, and in the distance children's laughter bubbled on the breeze like a spring melody. The air was light, and sweet, with the smell of blooming flowers and tree sap. It wasn't as pure as it used to be, however. The spring days used to be brilliant, when there were no cars or factories, the air was so pure that you could even detect the scent of soap on someone's skin from several feet away.

Raksha sighed, it would look really obvious if she just ran around in the blue hospital dress. She tucked it in as much as she could in her jeans. She stuck her head out the door, and looked across the hallway. The hallways were clear, she stepped out in bare feet and kept her head down. Hopefully they wouldn't see her leaving. She wondered where Aiden had gone, and if she was really serious about helping him...the thought of working with him made her sick, but at the same time he was looking for the same vamp. She would just kill him first, and then Aiden. She nodded to herself, yes that's what she would do. She got out of the hospital easily, surprisingly. She covered the sides of her face with her hair, and started to make her way towards her own apartment building which thankfully wasn't too far off.

Aiden

I walk a short ways to the park where the laughter was coming from, and sit down on a bench. My head falls back against the wooden bench, and I listen to the sweet sound of children at play. There was something missing in my life, and all I could feel was a deep, dark hatred for everything that was and had been happy. I just wanted to murder that vamp, slowly, painfully, so he could feel the way my family did. Even if it is just a small fraction of the pain, I would gather satisfaction from it. "Which one is yours?" I heard a small, feminine voice say from beside me. I open an eye to see a small woman. Her blond hair was pulled hastily back into a pony tail, but her bangs were laying smoothly against her forhead. Her deep olive eyes were trained on me as if searching me for some sign of danger. What was with moms and their constant thinking that every guy was after their kids? I shake my head. "My daughter used to play here, and my wife and I would always push her on that swing over there" I say and point to the one in the very middle. "See? That was her favorite, she claimed that it swung at just the right height and speed for her to get butterflies, but not high enough to frighten her." I say with a light chuckle and a smile.

Raksha walked down the streets ignoring the strange looks people gave her. She almost found them amusing. A strange girl, walking bare feet down the street. She lifted her head slightly when she neared the children's park. She stopped at it and watched the children play. She smiled to herself, this is where her mother used to take her and her little brother when they were little. Her face flashed through her mind and she sighed softly. She started to keep walking before seeing him, she narrowed her eyes. What was he doing here? Raksha looked around, before following him, staying behind him. She cocked her head as he sat down on a bench, she stood behind one of the tree's watching him. She was thoroughly confused by this vamp, and that was a first. She watched a women come up to me, and she tensed up. Would he try something here? She doubted it...but she couldn't be sure. She listened in the conversation, and she remembered Aiden mentioning a past family. She frowned when he started talking about a wife and daughter. She looked down slightly, and couldn't help feeling bad for him, even though he was a vampire.

Aiden

I look back at the woman, but her face was turned towards the children. Once I was deemed safe, she obviously didn't care to chat. I myself didn't care to talk with her, or anyone else at the moment. I sigh and lean back against the bench again. A snap of a twig made me jump, and I turn around to see Amelia crouched behind us. I give her a rough glare and walk over to her. "What are you doing?" I snap, practically sure of myself that if those people wouldn't have been there she'd have tried to kill me. "I thought we'd made a pact" I say with a slight snarl in my voice and cross my arms firmly over my chest. A scowl on my sharp features. The tree offered a cool shade, and dappled the bright green grass with dark shadows that fluttered in the wind.

Raksha lost some of her balance and her foot landed on her twig. "dammit..." she mumbled to herself as she saw Aiden's head snap back. She stood up, rubbing of the dirt on her hands on her jeans. Busted...she thought to herself. She looked at him, "I'm not doing anything," she snapped back at him, slightly taken back by the snarl in his voice. What did he think she was doing? "I'm sorry I was listening in then" she said with a glare. She then looked at him and understood, "Oh, you thought I was going to try and kill you," she said narrowing her eyes. "well, sorry to disappoint you, but i'm not really in the condition to be staking vampire's" she said with a scowl before turning around and heading out of the park.

Aiden

"Sure, whatever you say" I say, and watch as she walks off. I didn't trust her, and I doubt she cared. In fact, I wouldn't doubt it if she was planning my murder right about now. I grimmace at the thought of her and I attacking each other again and walk in the opposite direction. There was nothing to go home to, so instead I found myself in a local bar and I order a beer. I didn't usually drink, but I guessed it didn't matter right about now.

Raksha walked off mumbling under her breath. She didn't trust him, just as much as he didn't trust her, but she needed him now. Soon she would be able to get rid of him, and maybe even have a normal life. She smiled at the thought. She neared her apartment and walked into her complex. Walking up the stairs and into her home. She closed and locked the door behind her. She took off the hospital dress and threw it on the ground grabbing a tank top. She opened her closet and took out a gun and put it in her pants, she always felt better with it beside her. She took out a stack of folders and stuck them on her table with a sigh.

Aiden

I frown at the amount of people in the bar and soon get up to leave the stuffy place. The night air licked at my skin and made me shiver at first, but I adjusted and took a long drink of the cool beer. The moon was out, and beautiful, and everything was really calm. I take a big, relaxing breath of the night air and walk slowly down the sidewalk. I was left with nothing to do, and was considering feeding, but I tried to shrug off the increasing desire.

Raksha moved around all of the papers, all of the files, all of their lives she took. She even took a poster she found for a reward for her, dead or alive. She always smiled when she looked at it. The phone rang and she answered it quickly, "Yes," she said into the speaker. "Raksha, we have a vampire for you that we need you to take out" they said quickly. Raksha sighed loudly, "I'm sort of busy" she said in a whinny voice and a small laugh. The guy at the other end sighed, "Raksha this is serious," he said, Raksha rolled her eyes, "Fine, alright sorry what's the name" she said, she heard rustling on the other side. "Some of the other hunter's have been watching him for quite some time, his name is Aiden" Raksha's eyes went wide. "Call it off," she said quickly. "What? What's going on?" the other voice said confused. Raksha paced around, "No, I need him, i'm using him for something, tell them too call it off" she said into the phone, "trust me when I'm done we'll get through to a elder so just do it" she said and hung up.

Aiden

I hear a small rustle behind me, and I could tell it wasn't innocent. I pretend I don't notice, and step down a dark alley. A small grin played on my face. Hunter's blood was always so sweet... So rich. I turn around when to face my pursuer, and their expression was priceless. I drop my beer, and step closer to the girl. She looked to be around 25, but I couldn't be sure. "What do you want?" I say quickly, sternly. I was hungry now, they caught me at a bad time.

Raksha threw the phone down on her couch. "Damn" she said under her breath. She wouldn't be surprised if one of the hunters took this into their own hands. They weren't too good at following order's, she would know. She didn't know whether or not to look for him or not, it would be almost impossible to find him now though. She cursed again under her breath, if he killed one of them, she didn't know if she could stop them from trying to kill him. She grabbed the gun, and a upscale walkie talkie, tuning it to the right station. "call everyone in" she said, she hoped that Eddy, would get the message. She made sure her bandages weren't going to come loose, and walked out of the apartment and down the stairs.

Aiden

The girl smirked in the darkness, thinking I couldn't see it. Did she forget we could see as good in the dark as in daytime? "I came for this" She says, and lunges towards me with a stake. I shake my head as I dodge it. "That's a big stick for a little girl" I say and grab the end, twisting it quickly from her grasp. I toss it back and she whines at the pain in her arm. "Just a sprain, hun." I say and brush her hair from her neck. Goosebumps rose on her skin, and she jumped away. "What's wrong? Afraid to fight back?"

Raksha decided she would first look into town, that would be the most likely place a vampire would go during the night. She hoped that she could get too him before one of the hunter's do. She jogs towards the town, ignoring the pain shooting up her side. She finally reached it, and stopped. Now where...she couldn't help but hope that the hunter who went after him was a newbie. Aiden was the first and only lead now and she couldn't loose him. She kept walking, entering alleyways and searching for any hunter's or him.

Aiden

The girl fumbles around with a small knife she hid in her short shorts. "Sweetheart, you really think that's much?" I say, my eyes turning now and I let my fangs come out. I step closer to her, and she flinched back agaisnt the stone wall. I put my hands over her shoulders, keeping her from escaping. Her heartbeat was like a drum now, beating, beating and pumping that delicious crimson liquid throughout her body. I brush her hair back from her neck, and tilt her head to the side. Her bare skin was revealed now and I was just leaning in to bite when I heard the footfalls. I push the girl down, but not so hard it knocked her down. She crouched in the corner of the alley and I stood there without bothering to turn back to normal. "One of your friends decided to pay me a visit" I say, I nicked my lip to bloody my mouth, just as a little prank to freak her out.

Raksha kept looking, finally she reached one alley where she saw two dark figures. She squinted her eyes, trying to see in the darkness. She saw that the figure was unmistakably bent over the other. She took out the gun, and loaded it. The loud click rang through the alley way. She saw the girl crouched in the darkness looking terrified, it was Emily, one of the newest hunters. She was enraged, she couldn't believe Aden would go after another hunter while he knew that they had their pact. Even more so as she saw these people as the closest thing to family. She pointed the gun straight at him, and her eyes darkened when she saw the blood on his mouth. "Get away from her, now" she said her voice loud. She kept the gun pointed at him as she walked over to Emily.

Aiden

I shake my head, and shrug. "I didn't touch the little girl" I say with a snarl "You should watch them more closely... And besides, she came after me" I say, and lean up against the cool rock of the building next to he alley. I watch as she keeps the gun pointed at me. "You know that won't do much" I say, and lick my lip so it healed. I would've drained that girl had Amelia not come. I mean seriously, coming after a vamp without much training was just stupid. Not to mention how hungry I am. I sigh loudly and cross my arms, an amused smirk on my lips.

Raksha walked over to Emily and kneel'd down next to her, making sure she wasn't hurt putting an arm on her shoulder, her face softened "your okay, Eddy will come get you, your fine now he wasn't going to hurt you" she said strangely softly. She looked back at Aiden her eyes blazing. She kept it at him, "the bullets are wood, I wouldn't recommend trying anything" she said venomously. The smirk on his face was pissing her off even more. She turned back to Emily, "If i'm going to help you, hands off the hunters" she said taking the talkie out of her belt.
