Huntress (Open)
"My hunt to avenge will never end"
The waves crashed against the rocks, the black water stirring up turmoil on the bottom of the ocean floor. Raksha's boot sank into the beach's sand, as she leaned back. Her bokken at her side, ready to strike. The vampire's red eyes glowed back, searching her's. A cocky smile played upon its lips. Raksha let him think he was going to win. In a split second, without much hesitation the vampire sprung, attacking her with a loud growl. She first thrust her fist up blocking its fangs, it grabbed her own sword, which she mistakenly let hanging on the side, and stabbed it into her stomach, Raksha held in the gasp of pain and didn't waste time swinging her leg around into a low kick tripping it onto the sand. The vampire was not ready for that, and it let its cocky attitude get in the way of fighting. In its hesitation, Raksha brought the wooden sword down through his chest. "This kitten has claws" she said, as the vampire was reduced to ashes.
She took the booken out of the pile, and cleaned it against her jeans. She looked at the wound in her side, even though the sword was wooden, and made for vampire's it could easily go through human skin. She sighed, as she tore a piece of her shirt around it, tying it around her small waist to stop the bleeding. She had to get out of here soon, her car wasn't far, and she wasn't quite sure how she'd be able to battle with a bleeding gap in her side. She sighed as she started to climb up the rocks.
Its been like this for her, since she killed her first vampire at 13. From the day, that a group of vampire's killed her parents, and her little brother, she promised that she would do everything in her power to find them and kill them all. She hadn't found them yet, but as she looked for them, she would kill as many vampire's as she could. She cursed herself for loosing concentration in the last fight, for that could cost her life now. If a vampire found her now, she would be dead, as a bounty had been set up to whoever could kill her. She wasn't surprised they hadn't made it sooner, as she had killed very many during her time. She stumbled slightly on the rocks and cursed again, making her way to flat ground.

Aiden
I cough loudly and brush back my hair as I regain my balance. My dark eyes had gone completely black and my fangs were visible. "What's wrong? Afraid of an elder, huh?" He spat, the insult struck me hard and I clench my jaw tightly. He followed me home and now it was only me, not my family, my daughter, my wife, no one. I growl and tackle the older vampire hard to the ground. He rolls me and slams me hard to the Earth. I hit him hard on the nose and he stumbles off me. I stand, and go to drive my stake into his heart when he stumbles away and sprints for the mountains. Too weak to follow, I cough and grab my stomach tightly. The wound was still bleeding, and I knew it would heal but it still hurt and weakened my immortal body. I lean against a tree and look up at the sky. A grimace on my sharp features. I shake my head and turn around in a flash. I through my already bruising knuckles into the old tree I had braced myself on. The pain was barely in the back of my mind, it was the thought that everything I had worked on to become somewhat normal that numbed everything that would otherwise bring me down hard at the moment. I strip off my shirt and tie it around the wound to avoid too much blood to escape my body. My muscular chest was streaked with blood, who's was impossible to guess after the day's misfortunes. I use a stick to brace myself as I walk slowly towards a stream I had ran through when I chased the old vamp.
A voice stopped me hard and I duck behind a tree. The woman was walking like I was, and I could tell by the sudden wall of scent that she was wounded. The smell alone dizzied me. I wanted it. I needed it. Bad. I through my head back against the tree, and forced myself to go after her even if she was young and vulnerable. I killed on a daily basis, but I didn't like killing innocent people. I creep behind a bolder and wait for her to come closer.
A moment before I lunged out at her, I noticed what was in her belt. A stake. Not a casual piece of broken wood, but a bloodied stake that had obviously been used against one of my kind. I curse under my breath and take a large breath. I whirl around the cover of the rock and grab her arm roughly. I grab the stake from it's place and throw it behind me. "I won't kill you if don't kill me" I say, my words were dangerous and low, but I was out of breath and they weren't as powerful as they could've been.

Re: Huntress (Open)
Raksha grimaced as she put her hand to her hip. She drew it back, and it was covered in blood. She cursed under her breath and tore off the bottom of her shirt and wrapped it around her waist tightly. She sucked in a deep breath and ignored the sharp pain that was shooting up her body. She had to get out of here fast, if a vampire found her now it would be a problem. She quickly walked up the rocks, and into the forest willing herself to get to the main road where she would be safe. The bokken still at her side, she clenched it with her fist ready to strike if needed too. She couldn't be killed now...she still hadn't found him. The one who killed her family, the one who took everything from her. He would pay, he would pay dearly. The thought of this kept her going but clouded her senses, she didn't realized she was being watched until the very last moment
She caught his smell first, the smell of vampire blood. It made her nose crinkle and she saw him at the very last moment before he lunged for her and grabbed her arm. She couldn't help but smile a little, even wounded she was strong against a vampire. After being trained for 5 years, she knew how to get herself out of tough situations. She knew how to use barbaric weapons, that would seem filthy to mankind. She knew how to drag someone's internal organs out from under them with her bare hands. She was really a vampire slayer.
The words hit her ears, and her smile disappeared. Did this vampire think she was stupid? Not even a second passed before she dropped down, twisting her hand so he had to let her go. As she dropped and twisted, she drew out her lean leg from under her and gave him a good kick to the knee's, she hit the perfect spot. Making him involuntarily drop, in that moment she turned to grab her bokken. In all the movement, the wound in her stomach had started to bleed much worse, and the shirt around her stomach was now drenched in blood.

I grimace as I hit the ground hard. "Stop it!" I growl, and grab her wrist. I throw her down and tackle her, using my weight to keep her down for good. "I'm not like the others. I've lost a lot in the last 24 hours. So stop your squirming and listen to me" I snarl down at her. My eyes were black but my fangs weren't out. I didn't plan on killing her or anyone at the moment. She was too much for me at the moment and I accept that. It's not about how wrong my kind are, but about how I need her and she needs me to get her back. "Let me drink, and I will get you back in time to get that taken care of" I say, looking straight down at her. My hands clasped her shoulders tightly because I knew any chance she got she was going after her weapon.

Re: Huntress (Open)
Raksha felt the air knocked out of her as she fell to the ground. She bit back a shout of pain as her stomach lurched. She felt his weight on her and she was thinking of a way out of the situation. She started to relax, hoping he would think she had given up. The smell of his blood reeked, it made her want to lurch. She looked at him straight in the eye, with all the hate she had for his kind. She wasn't fazed by his snarling. His animalistic snarl's, he wasn't human, an abomination that had to be killed. When she heard him say that he wanted to drink her blood. She spat in his face, "The hell you will, I'd rather die" she said as she raised her free knee kicking him as hard as she could, as she started to struggle against his grip. She needed to get out of this situation, and she needed to it fast.

I sigh at her and grasp her throat in my hand. The softness of her skin contrasted greatly with my rough hands. I then push down on her wounded stomach. "I swear, I won't hesitate to kill you now if you do not cooperate" I say under my breath, kicking the stake further from us with my leg and then move my hand from her wound. I lick the blood on my hand out of sheer instinct, then wipe it on my jeans when I realized what I was doing. I was nearly shaking when I put my bloodied hand on her shoulder. The fading moonlight made things even more eerie, and a small wind had picked up. It was chilly, but not bad for me. Who knows how it was to any humans around.

Re: Huntress (Open)
Raksha started to squirm even more when his hand grasped her throat. She wouldn't allow him to drink her blood, her throat had never been tainted by the fangs of vampire's. She let out a small moan of pain when he pushed down onto her stomach. Her vision started to black out from the loss of blood. She could feel herself becoming weaker. She watched with as he brought his hand to his mouth to lick the blood off...her blood. She heard her stake roll even farther away from her, she had a knife somewhere under her shirt, but she was unable to draw it out in the position she was in. "Your disgusting, you shouldn't be alive" she spat in his face as she watched as he began to loose control. The wind was picking up, she had on layers to protect herself from the cold, but her soaked shirt plastered to her body caused her to shiver. She tried one last time to get out of his grasp by kicking him in the stomach and using the hilt of her hand to hit his jaw upwards.

A loud grunt came from me as she kicked my stomach. I cough blood into the dirt and spit the taste out of my mouth. I glare over at her and bend her elbow down by force. "I don't have time for you and your insults" I say, and turn her wrist to me. I let my fangs out and bite her arm harshly. The warm blood flooded into my mouth and I close my eyes. The crimson liquid immediately rejuvenated me. I pull myself from her and lick the opening on her arm. The wound healed and I grabbed her other wrist. I hold them in my right hand and lift her onto my shoulders. "Just trust me, okay?" I say, and start to sprint towards civilization.

Re: Huntress (Open)
Raksha looked at him with a snide look as he coughed up blood. She knew she wouldn't be able to fight back. Her vision was blurring as her stomach kept bleeding without stop. She gritted her teeth as he bent her elbow, straining it. If only she had been more careful with that other vampire she would have killed this one far sooner. She cursed herself. She didn't make a sound as he bit into her, his fangs piercing her skin. It burned, she tried to take her wrist back, but the burning only increased when she moved it, but she wouldn't let him take blood from her without a fight. Black dots started to swarm her vision, as she now had a dangerously low amount of blood in her system. She stopped squirming, and went limp."Trust you? I'm going to kill you." she murmured with the strength she had left before blacking out.

Re: Huntress (Open)

I chuckle and continue on. She couldn't kill a fly right now. I wipe away the blood on my mouth and turn normal as we approach the town. I head straight for the hospital. When I step inside, nurses swarm on her like a hawk and take her away. I roll my eyes at their hurrying, then sit down. I look down at my own wound. It had begun healing, but might need stitches. A doctor moved towards me and I could smell her blood, hear her heartbeat. I had already wasted through the blood the woman had been able to spare. I stand up weakly and allow the doctor to take me to a room. She sat me down, and I watch as she closes the door. I stand up when she turns her back and lock the door. "What are y-" she starts, but I put my hand over her mouth. I blink, and my eyes are black once again. I turn her neck gently and nip at her neck. The skin breaks, and blood rushes into my mouth. The woman soon went limp in my arms, but I kept drinking. I had no reason to let this girl live, so I didn't. I drank the very last drop of blood. her pale skin was ice when I let her dead body down on the white bed. I make my way to the room's showers and rinse the blood from my body, remembering everything as I scrubbed the dried mud and blood from my skin. The scream of my little girl, the sobbing of my wife. I turn the water off and get dressed stiffly. The wound was healed after drinking the woman dry, and I was looking healthier than ever. I roll my neck and run my fingers through my hair before stepping out of the room and down the hallway. I find the room of the girl I met earlier and let myself in. I lock the door behind me just in case and sit in the couch beside her bed. I find a magazine and pretend to be reading.

Re: Huntress (Open)
Raksha felt herself being lifted, what was he going to do with her? If he was going to kill her, he would've already. So why not? She drifted in and out of consciousness as they neared the town. She opened her eyes as the bright hospital lights engulfed her. What? He had brought her too a hospital? She let the confusion sink in, but let the nurses take her. She drifted out again...
When she woke up she tried to sit up with a groan, "Oh..sweetie, try not too move. You've lost a lot of blood, your very lucky to still be alive, that man saved your life" she said with a cheery smile. Raksha wanted to wipe it off her face. If the monster didn't drink her blood, she would've been fine. She didn't say anything though, and the nurse kept the bright smile on her face and left the room. Raksha lifted the covers and winced as she saw huge bandages wrapped around her waist. She had probably gotten many stitches and wouldn't be able to move around for quite some time. She cursed herself, she was one of the most wanted vampire hunters in their world. She muttered to herself and looked around restlessly, she decided she might as well get some sleep...
She woke up to the door clicking shut. Her head snapped up, and she saw him...the vampire who had first almost killed her, then brought her here. She sent him a deathly glare. What was he doing here? She narrowed his eyes, he looked healthy and renewed. With the amount of blood he had taken from her, his metabolism wouldn't have been able to restore itself that fast. He had probably killed someone. She made a sound of disgust, when she would be able to move around, and fight again, she vowed to kill him. "This kitten has claws" the saying that she said, every time she killed a vampire rang through her head.

"Well this tiger has fangs" I snarl back at her, flipping a page of the magazine. I smile fakely at her and roll my eyes. "Okay, I know how you are. All vampires are after my blood but I'm Buffy so they wouldn't dare touch me" I say, emotionless. The magazine I was reading was quite boring actually, it was about the news and how the modern times were 'so hard'. Seriously, if you think this is hard, try the 15th century. "I'm not after your death, so as long as we are on mutual ground because we saved each other, I won't attack you. If you go after me though..... Your sweet life is mine" I say, the ending of my statement was a easily said, which was slightly creepy in its own way. I look over at her, my dark brown eyes similar to every mortal's in this building. "Aggreed?"

Re: Huntress (Open)
Raksha stared back at him narrowing her eyes, was he one of the mind readers?. She almost wanted to laugh when he compared her to Buffy. "Don't make me get my stake and holy water" she said mockingly. She started to sit up, ignoring the pain that shot up her. "I didn't save you by choice, if that vampire hadn't wounded me you would've been dead by now" she snarled at him. Her green eyes blazed with anger. She hated him. He took her blood, Raksha had never been bitten by a vamp until now. She lifted her wrist where his bite mark had healed. She sat back against the bed, crossing her arms. "No" she said simply.

I roll my eyes. "Okay, I'm sorry I hurt your pride alright? At least I didn't turn you" I say and shrug. I waited a few seconds then smirk. "I still could..." I say and look over at her. I turn my eyes a full black color and smirk, revealing fangs. "But" I stop myself from listening in on her powerful heartbeat. "I won't" I say and camoflouge myself once more. I hear a knock on the door and stand up, unlocking and opening it just a crack. "Yes?" I say. It must've been her doctor, because the man had a cocky, I'm better than you have more money, look on his pretty little face. "I came to check on the patient.." He says, trying to look around my shoulder. "Fine, whatever" I say and return to my seat, allowing him to step into the room.

Re: Huntress (Open)
Raksha looked at him, eyes narrowed. Why was he still here in the first place? She almost wanted to laugh, turn her? She'd rather kill herself or be turned to one of them. She raised her head slightly when he said he still could. She sent him a look that said, Just try. This vampire was ticking her off. "Go feed on some poor defenseless puppy or something" she said with a scoff. She turned her head away from him, her arms crossed over her chest. When she heard the knock on the door she sat up in defensive mode, and relaxed when she saw the doctor come in. She looked at the vamp, "You know you can leave now" she said glaring at him, I'll find you anyways, she thought to herself.

"That's alright sweetheart, I'm here for you... you know" I say, letting my voice have a nice yet cheesy tone to it. The doctor changed her IV bag and seemed to be messing around with some kind of machine. "Just press this button if the pain comes back, but try not to use it too much." He said and set a button by her on the bed. I pick up another magazine and fake read it until she was done being looked over.

(Hehe its fine )
Raksha didn't hide her disgust from him. She looked up at the doctor and mumbled a thanks, and waited for him too leave. Once he did, she stared at the vampire. "Why are you still here?" she asked him with a glare. Maybe he was planning to kill her later, when she would be able to fight back, for some fun. She doubted he was just trying to make up for earlier.

"The truth?" I say and set the glossy paper down on my lap. "The truth is I need your help" I say, not easing into the conversation but simply laying it out on the table. "You know, I was hurt too when I attacked you... and it was from a vampire as well" I say and fold my arms over my chest. "He had murdered my family and he ran off when we were fighting... I need your help tracking him. I know you're good at that, I've heard of you. You're practically the devil to us. However, I am willing to work with you on this." I debated on adding the part that would peak her interest, but I wanted to see if she would help me out without that part.

Re: Huntress (Open)
Raksha stared at him, a blank look on her face. She couldn't believe what she was hearing, was he serious? After a couple moments of staring at him, she burst out into laughter. "Yea...me...helping a vampire?" she said in between spurts. "Oh man, this is good, wait until they hear this" She said laughing some more, clenching her wounded side. She looked at him with a raised eyebrow. "Yet, your trying to get my help, when right now I wouldn't have second thoughts about killing you, what's in this for me" she asked.

I clench my fists. Humans.... They were such selfish creatures....
My jaw clenched tightly as I look over at her. "He was the elder who murdured your family as well" I say, my words curt and harsh. I knew this would definitely make her think. Me going along with her would probably be her only reason to second think it. I knew she didn't trust me, and I didn't really trust her. Wow, that sounds pathetic, a vampire not trusting a mortal.

Re: Huntress (Open)
Raksha immediately stopped laughing, the smile left her face in an instant. A look of sorrow passed through her face before it turned into complete rage. "How do you know about that, how do you know its him" she said clenching her teeth. Her family hadn't been brought up for quite some time. Most foster parents didn't even dare to bring it up. She glared at him, "prove it" she said to him snidely.

I frown, and shift in my seat when she asks me to prove it. "He is the one who changed me... a long time ago" I start, and tried to end it there. She obviously didn't believe me though, so I continued. "He was my mentor then, and he told me to wait behind in the car. I did as he asked, but when I heard a scream I didn't know what else to do. I left, then, and I avoided him ever since. Guess he had other plans.." I say.

Raksha looked at him, "You were there..." she said quietly. She stared at the white sheets covering her. She was sitting in front of one of the men who had been there while her parents, and little brother were murdered. She closed her eyes, and looked at him. "I'll help you" she said, after she killed the elder, she would kill him. Then she could finally go back to a regular life, she could stop killing vampire's once he was dead, and once she had her revenge.

I study her for a few seconds before nodding slowly. "Good. Now, if we are going to be working together on this I'd like to know your name" I say and look over at the door to make sure the bothersome doctor hadn't come back.
