Zebra herd!!!

I trot into the oasis and neigh out to all my herd members. I stop and wait for my mate grevy and nuzzle my foal, Flic. "do you guys like this place?" i ask

Grevy

I canter into the small but beautiful oasis, striped legs and torso creating an enigma of where I was and where the other zebras were. I stop moments before crashing into my mate and my foal, touching their muzzles briefly I nod. "It's perfect" I say, voice deep and melodic. My ears were perked happily, and eyes seemed to dance with the joy of having my loved ones close as well as my friends.

"im glad you like it" i nuzzle grevy and then Flic.

Hana trotted in after them, looking around. The young zebra had no mother anymore as she had been killed by a lion. She was needing a surrogate mother. But, she wasn't exactly the most social of zebras, so she couldn't exactly ask. And in any case, that would be embarrassing to anyone! Lowering her head towards the ground, Hana sniffed around, wondering if this was where they were staying for good or if they'd move on again eventually.

[Do we need someone to play a surrogate mother for Hana? Because I'd be willing]

"hello hana, we need to find u a mother" i smiled.

[Tayssi]

Hana looked up at Zoraia as she came over to her and spoke. The young zebra gave a small nod of understanding nad her small tail flicked from side to side. Having a surrogate mother would not be the same as her real mother. She had only been without her for 3 days and she missed her greatly. But, though not very social, Hana could be very stubborn about not showing her emotions.

I nod and look around the area. "It's plenty fertile here, there should be other zebras around here...."

Flic jumped around, small back legs bucking wildy. He nuzzled Grevy, then his mom. "Are there more zebra foals? Hana never plays!"

"We are working on that.." i tell Flic. "Where are raya and piya??" i ask everyone

Grevy

I shrug before calling out to them. [What's it called when they're zebras?]

After wandering around the meadow, munching and grazing, I came into view of a zebra herd. Lowering my head and pricking my ears forward, I step forward and (whicker?) to the group.

[Harley's Rainbow]

Flic squealed, nipping Grevy. "Wanna play?" He asked, knowing Grevy was an adult, but the colt didn't care.

[Saviour]

Grevy

I chuckle "Sure, why not" I say and nip his flank before turning in a tight circle and nipping his shoulder. Both little bites were gentle and probably only tickled.

[Harley's Rainbow]

Flic squealed in laughter, g underneath her stomach and nipping her hind leg gently. "Tag!" He raced away, tumbling and getting right back up.

Grevy

I jump when he nips my back leg and step back quickly, then chase after him. Kicking my back legs high into the air and throwing my head dramatically.

Flic went as fast as he could, quickly slipping and hiding in the tall grass.

Grevy

I chuckle and slide to a stop, turning around and whinnying to Flic to come back towards the group. A smile playing on my lips and my chest moving gracefully.

[Harley's Rainbow]

Flic leaped, expecting Grevy to be right infront of him. He tumbled head over heels, sliding to a stop at Grevy's hooves.

Grevy

I lip his forlock playfully and flick my tail, walking back towards the group.

[Harley's Rainbow]

Flic rolled his eyes, heading into the tall grass. With a playful pretend lion roar, he pounced at Grevy, growling playfully. "Rawr." Flic laughed.

[Saviour]

Grevy

I chuckle lightly "Come on Flic, maybe we'll look for some apples later.." I say and prance back to the heard. Stripes moving in a beautiful illusion.
