A New Story (For Spritz){Mature?}

[Soul Hunter]

She sat herself in a tree playing a black flute with orange tassels hanging off it. She had her eyes closed at the moment as she played her flute an enchanting sweet song playing and flowing through the air this was one of the few moment when this Fox demon played her flute. Her form looked as though she was caught between the transformation of a fox anthro and a human with her fox ears and tail always permanent never vanishing.

Her bandages were wounds tightly around her middle. She did have an odd way of dressing, even the collar and lead that lay around her neck after she had escaped the last owner that she had been owned by. She liked the forests though, they were quiet but always had to go back to the town in front of her which was a good trek.

She stopped playing and held her flute in her hand looking towards the sunset that formed before her made her smile a little. She was in a state of calm for a while after she played her flute but she could always become calm when she needed to. She was still very young and had her whole life ahead of her but she wasn't what she seemed.

But she wasn't that kind of person usually unless threatened herself. She kept herself sitting in the tree happily flicking her fox ears swiftly. "I want to play" she mutters frowning a little. Around her waist were a pair of guns which also had orange tassels but were chained to each other as well.

As the night arrived she appeared back in the town under the star filled veil with the moonlight dancing on the ground in front of her. She flicked her fox tail once before hiding it again as she walked through the street her keen nose picking up any threatening scent, her eyes spotting any small movements and ears picking up the slightest of sounds.

She heard loud music from the night clubs her ears pinning back into her short white hair.

[Spritz]

Kenta was alone. Leaping skillfully over the branches in his way, his large black ears twitched slightly as he listened to the sounds of the night. His feet pounded lightly on the ground as he ran, hardly making a noise as he moved, unobserved, through the night. The tall dark trees towered up above him, casting thier deep shadows onto the ground, thier gnarled branches reaching down, long twisted fingers spread apart. That was what it looked like to Kenta, and he was a bit creeped out by it. Though happy living in the forest, some times a guy just had to get out. Stopping abruptly, he skidded on the dirt, stopping shortly. His large ears pricked upwards, hearing a light melody dancing on the evening breeze.
As he swiftly moved forward, the song grew louder, before cutting off and vanishing. Frowning, Kenta decided to investagate.

Catori’s nerves got the better of her and she just went to the park looking for the old oak tree she usually sat in, she had picked up a particular scent that had been following her for a while which only made her alert. But if worse came to worse she would get herself out of it. She wondered the park ducking under branches a little making no sound and climbed into the old oak whose thick strong branches easily held her up.
She sighed and began to play again the sweet melody travelling but not many would care to investigate. Playing also was a way she used to calm her nerve, she knew very well what could happen in the middle of the night and usually got back ebfore dark but getting back later than usual and in these streets becoming more dangerous she had to keep herself as calm as she could.

She stopped playing and looked up almost falling from the tree and gripped it quickly seeing a few people drunk already heading her way she jumped high up and began playing seeing how they'd react and soon saw them looking around confused at where the sound was coming from as she lay on her front playing fluently. She giggled a little "Maybe I should do this more often, humans are so funny" she said her tail flicking happily with her ears pricked up a a playful spark in her orange eyes.

[Spritz]

Kenta swiftly and silently broke out of the tree line. He looked fully human, despite his furry ears, and he wore a hood over them to be undetected. Soon, he broke into a jog, then headed into the park, his keen senses picking up on a scent... A non human scent. Kenta sat down on one of the park benches, then narrowed his eyes as he smelt her scent again. And herd her flute.

She had small fox fire flames just in front of her and she kept playing her tune picking up to a more childish energetic tune and watched as they two drunk men below her tried to find her nad kepy playing. She stopped breifly picking up a scent. "Not human" she said "I wonder what it is, they followed me here as well" she said before she began to play again continueing the enrgetic and lively tune.

"Hey, up there, she has fox features" said one of them. "oops spotted" she said and quickly darted down the tree stuffing her flute in a small bag she had and moved silently but quickly she turned into a fox and scampered from the bushes seeing him she froze mommentairly with her flute in her mouth she was curious but turned and just hid down an old den running straight past him in clear veiw before she hid. Once they were gone she drank some water finding a small pond and lay the flute beside her and lay on ehr back and playe dit as a fox since it was like a little game to her.

[Spritz]

Kenta crossed his arms over his chest, the hood hiding his ears, but his senses working extremley well. He sniffed the air, his nostrils flaring slightly.Suddenly, exitement broke out in the group, and Kenta's head snapped around, his dark eyes twinkling slightly. Suddenly, something fell from the tree, and raced past him, ears twitching slightly. The figure darted away, into the trees, and the drunks looked bewildedred. Now, Kenta was more curious than ever, and silenly followed it.

Still playing her flute her tail tucked between her legs as she remained as a fox for a little while. Catori changed back and rustled her scruffy short white hair before she let her head fall back looking over her shoulder briefly seeing something in the shadows. Flicking her ears turning around and leaning forward a little with her arms behind her back looking directly at him when he found her "I know your there, you've been following me for a while haven't you?" she said holding her flute behind her back. Her ears flickering with her tail a little as well a playful smile crawling onto her lips, "Why have you been following me, you are something of a stranger" she said her head cocking to onside.

[Spritz]

Kenta saw that she knew he was following, and a smile played on his lips. Shaking his head and laughing, he stayed in the shadows, but watched her with his keen black eyes.
"Hello."
His voice was soft, and didn't hold menace. He wasn't planning on anything, just wondering who she was. He let the hood slip from his head, revealing his pointed black ears. His long black fox tail swished behind him.

She flicked her ears a little and smiled as her fox fire dance around in the shadows around him "Your a fox?" she said raising an eyebrow slightly. Her tail flicked again curiously as she raised her body ears pricked up with one down a little confused "What are you? your covered in fur" she said he seemed just as strange to her as she did to him. "And hello" she said her voice held a child like tone to it, but was relatively sweet a playful tone tinting her voice as she gave a smile. "Why are you hiding in the shadows? I don't bite... much"
Catori put her flute into the small bag she had and waited for some answers or rather to see if he would answer.

[Spritz]

Kenta stepped out of the shadows, shoving his hands into his pockets. "So? There is more than one fox you know. How else were you created?" He laughed, shaking off his dark hoodie and slipping it off. Eying her with curiousity, he cocked his head to the side, chewing the inside of his cheek.
"What were you doing, before?" He gestured to the small flute in her hands.

She crossed her arms as he laughed "But you look different form my family" she said moving one hand and pointing to him slightly with one finger. She flicked her ears back a little sesning he was eyeing her and kept herself from snapping at him. "I was playing my flute, what else can I use it for?" she said as she put it away quickly. She did keep a distance though. "But... drunks got mad when they found me.. I was only playing around with them" she said her arms going behind her back once more.

She had acollar around her neck which she didn't wear by choice but it didn't bug her and had to tuck the leash away as well before she crossed her arms back over her chest pricking her ears up as they flicked to listen for anything. "But why were you following me, you have no reason to" she said

[Spritz]

Kenta's ears pricked upright, and his long fluffy tail swished behind him. "Following you? Why?" Kenta laughed, placing his hand on his shoulder and rolling it slightly. "I wanted to know who you were." He shrugged, and smiled at her, flashing his white teeth.
"But, since I now know who- what you are, I should probably be going." He turned, and ducked out of the bushes and back into the park.

She flicked her ears and followed a little appearing in front of him "But what are you and if you know what I am, tell me?" she said looking up at him "And you don't know who I am either so don't say you do, who are you?" she asked leaning her body forward slightly again and looked up at him with curious eyes her tail flicked again waiting.

She soon stood up straight hearing shouts and flicked her ears... "Aww, they found me, they found me" she said whining playfully and laughing a little "well going to answer?" she asked him wanting to get an answer since she was very curious now although had to hurry since they had found out she'd escaped again. Her old master still tried to catch her even after so long forcing her to travel quite a lot.

[Spritz]

Kenta stopped, turning around. He almost bumped into her, then stepped back, eying her with a curious, puzzled expression. "My name is Kenta." He frowned at her question. "What am I?" He tapped his foot on the ground, looking at her, his ears twitching.
"Who's coming!" He asked, his head snapping upwards, tail twitching.

"I'm Catori and as for whose coming that is my old master, how do you think I got a collar, fox demons like me arent very common now days, rarely see them. And I really don't know what you are, you look like a fox but you walk on two feet like a human" she said. She really hadn't heard of anthros since she had lived a rather sheltered life. She flicked her ears and smiled a little hearing the shouts getting louder "I'll see you around Kenta... maybe" she said and tugged one of his ears playfully before she nearly jumped out of her skin. "Hey that was mean" she said looking at the dart and picked it up and threw it right back scraping one of them. "Gotta run" she said and quickly darted into a tree thinking.
She sighed a little knowing she'd have to camp otu tonight and it was meant to be cold too.

"That doesent mean-" Kenta broke off, hearing the shouts get louder and more pronounced. She batted his ear playfully, then scampered off and away from him, high into the limbs of a tree. Shaking his head, he shrugged on his hoodie and flipped the hood over his ears, stepping out of the shadows and into the park. The moon shone down at him as he made his way back to the bench.

Catori managed to escape in the end exhusted and didn't feel like playing anymore today. She walked back up to the forest and turning into a fox she hunted. The poor rabbit had no chance once it was in her sight. Soon it was at her feet dead and she was happily eating into it. Shivering during the cold night her fur kept her raltively warm as she curled up around her small flute as though protecting it. Whimpering in her sleep made a fair amount of noise but she just didn't realise it. She had done such things several times before and missed the confort of her own bed and room somewhere secure wheere they would never find her but this was something she had to do, to keep them away from such a place.

[Spritz]

Kenta awoke to the sound of his stomach growling. Placing a hand on it, he realized that his hand was actually a paw now. He had changed in his sleep, in public. Not a good thing. Quickly getting on all fours, he scampered off into the greenery, letting himself dissapear into the shadows. Soon, he was running quickly through the trees, dodging branches and leaping silently over stumps and logs. His paws left no mark on the ground, and he sniffed the air warrily, smelling the female again.

She stayed in the secluded area of the forest she kept going through water to hide herself staying in her fox form witht he fute resting on her back. She flicked her ears and licked her lips finding a rabbit hole and waited silently for them to come out crawling along the earth beneath her a little as she hid in the bushes. Once they did come out she lept and grabbed one killing it painlessly and quickly before she began to eat her meal quite happy with her breakfast.
She couldn't care less who was there she was hungry so she ate. Turning into her humanoid form her ears flicked with her tail as she stretched and licked her lips. "Very nice, if I do say so myself" she said having set up a few traps just to mess with people who went near her camp.

[Spritz]

Kenta was taken by surprise and yelped as his paw landed in a loop or rope. It quickly snapped around his ankle, hoising him off of the ground and leaving him hanging there. "Shit!" Kenta cried, his leg aching. He wiggled and protested, but the rope had a tight grip around him and wasn't likeley to let him go. His tail flicked in annoyance, and he tried to get out.

Catori flicked her ears and stood up hearing one of her traps go off and shot the rope from a distance catching him in his fox form. "Hello again" she said knowing ti was him. "Sorry, did you get hurt, if they find me then I have to be prepared" she said looking at him as she held him in his fox form her tail flicked and she put him down gently checking that it wasn't too badly injured before she re-set the trap butput a small fox fire beside it to alert animals it was there but not those who chased her.
She sat herself down cross legged with a pair of twin guns around her waist. "Again I am sorry Kenta" she said her pitch becoming higher as she finished his name.

[Spritz]

Kenta yelped in embarresment as look who came forward. She quickly undid the trap around his ankle, and he fell to the ground, getting to his feet and shaking himself off, his long black fur stuck with leaves and twigs. Holding his paw above the ground gingerly, he watched as she put something by the trap. "What's that?" He asked, refering to the fire. She sat down and crossed her legs, and Kenta changed back into his other form, where he looked human. His large furry ears pricked upwards, and he frowned at her.

She heard him yelp in embarrassement and giggled at him a little before he asked her a question"It's a fox fire, I'm a fox demon so it's basic for me" she said flicking her ears she saw him frowned and just gave a rather blank face. She sighed and just leaned back on the tree behind ehr and played with a small fox spirit beside her who appeared every now and then before looking up "Why are you frwoning?" she aksed curiously as the fox spirit clambered onto her shoulders and rested there making her sneeze as it's tail tickled her nose.

[Spritz]

Kenta breathed a heavy sigh, his tail twitching slightly. He took his furry long tail in his hands, and raised an eyebrow as a tiny orange fox sat on her shoulder, eying him with curiousity.
"I frown becasue that's what I do." The fox said blandly, his ears pricking upright on top of his head. "I take it you got away from...whoever was chasing you?" Kenta asked, raising an eyebrow.
