Juan nodded, then she was led to the girls side of the bus. She straightened her red tie, and kept her bruised side of her face out of Rin's sight. She almost wished they didn't have to sit across the isle from eachother, and Juan swung her legs over so they were crossed in the isle. "Hi." She said softly, and gave him a breif smile. Today, her eyes lacked thier usual sparkle, and she had faint circles under her eyes, caused by staying up late, crying.

Rin

It's was to early for Rin to notice the dark circle that laid beneath Juan's eyes, nor was awake enough to really try to look at her head on. He turned back around he sat his backpack in his lap, his arms crossed in font of as he slumped back closing his eyes, Rin hoped to rest before he arrived at school.

Juan did the same, closing her eyes, and breathing a tired sigh.
All to soon, the bus had collected its passangers, and they pulled into the parking lot. Juan opened her deep brown eyes, and blinked a few times, trying to wake herself up. She reached forward and placed her hand on Rin's knee.
"Hey sleepy head. Were here."

Rin

Rin stretched his arms up, waking form his short slumber he arched his back unstiffing that as well. He smiled as he noticed Juan had woken him up just in time, the students began to walk of the bus he sighed another day of school,

"Thanks." He said, raising up for the seat picking up his backpack.

Juan nodded, then slung her heavy backpack back onto her back. Darn, she had to figure out how to open that stupid locker. She slipped out into the isle, and glanced at Rin, breifly smiling a farwell. She wondered if they had any other classes together, or not.

Rin

Rin walked behind Juan slipping the rest of his backpack on his back, to fell more comfortable he also wondered is he had any classes with her. Not to talk about last night,but, about her other interests if she played any video games, her favorite songs, and even if she had seen any good animes lately. He grinned he couldn't wait to ask her those questions, hopefully, it would get rid of the odd felling he knew she felt when she arrived home.

Juan walked down the stairs of the bus, exiting the large yellow vehicle. She turned, searching the outpour of students for Rin. She wouldn't mind talking to him on the way to class. She sighed. She had a math test today, that was her first class. Wondering if he was also in it, she spotted him and hurried over.

Rin

Rin smiled as Juan ran to him,

"What's up?" He asked, the sun had risen a bit some light leaned across the school building, he still hadn't noticed Juan's mark on her face.

Juan sighed. Nope, he wouldnt really want to know, 'what was up.' She glanced at the ground, as they headed into the school building.
"I have a math test today.. I'm terrible at it."

He nodded his head, as the bus the left school had passed back quickly he frowned as Juan told him that she wasn't good at math she might have failed it,

"I'm not good at math either." He said, smiling as he hoped to cheer her up. "Maybe you could do a re-take." Rin turned to face her and notice the mark on her face, his eyes slightly narrowed,

"What happened?"

Juan had almost forgot about what had happened, the day had flew by. Turns out, they had quite a few classes together, and sat near eachother in each one. They had secretly passed notes throughout the class too.
She could feel a blush rising into her cheeks as he asked what had happened, his eyes taking in the mottled bruise. It must have gotten darker.
Juans mind reeled as she tried to think of an explanation.
"I fell in the shower."

Rin's eyes lightly narrowed more,

'She's laying again..' He thought as she took a bit longer to answer the she needed to, he placed his hand gently on her check, touching the bruise carefully,

"Did it try to eat you too?" Rin asked, not awaiting an answer, it wasn't a question.

"Please tell me...what happened?"

Juan flinched as he touched her cheek, and her eyes darted up to his. She was planning on walking home today, not riding the bus as usual.
"You dont want to know."
She said simply.

Rin sighed resting his hands into his pockets,

"I do." He said, simply, "Was it that girl form this morning?" Rin asked as the anger started to boil over.

Juan started to walk forward, down the sidewalk. Her hand brushed gently against his. "No..." Juan wanted to tell him, she really did. So she soon decided she would, what was the harm?

"What?!" Rin said, shocked he couldn't believe it would happened to Juan, she was so sweet and innocence, how could he do something like that. Rin's fist trembled full of anger he gridded his teeth, Rin ran over to Juan stopping in front of her,

"Wait, your not going back there are you?" He asked, frantic.

Juan had been walking, her head down, then walked straight into Rin, colliding with him, then stepping back, embarrased. She could see his anger starting to boil over, and swallowed. In answer to both of his questions, she nodded.
"Yes."

His dark blue eyes winded with surprised, he stood firm blocking her way further down the street. His arms flew aside, his legs spread as well,

"You can't." He said, "I won't let you, you'll just get hurt again, perhaps worst." His eyes shone with worry for his friend, although, if she couldn't go home where would see stay?

Juan-

Juan gave a slight scoffing laugh, then gently rested her hand on his chest, her eyes wide with relief that someone cared, but filled with hidden pain and suffering. "Rin, I cant, not go home. He comes every few days to check up on me.." Her demor stiffened slightly. "He wont be home tonight..." Juan knew that was a lie. She hated lying to Rin with every cell in her body, but couldn't tell him the truth. He of course, would be home tonight. He would probobly be waiting for her, drunk. That was the worst part.
Juans father had actually tried to rape her once before, when he was drunk, but thankfully, her fighting skills had paid off. She escaped him with a broken finger and bruises, but they healed.

Rin slightly tilted his head as he heard her laugh, he confused as to what was funny. His heart raced as she touched her chest, he listened and his eyes darkened,

"That's true..." He mumbled, if she couldn't go home where-else would she go? He smiled weakly as she told him, that he wouldn't be home today,

"Just in case, is there anywhere else you could stay at, besides him?"

Juan saw the concern in his eyes, and mentally kicked herself for lying to him. He really did care, she could see that. She just wished this was easier to talk about. Juan shrugged, in answer to his question.
"I dont know.. No where, I suppose.."
She had left her hand on his chest, but now removed it softly, looking down at her shoes.

Rin sighed defeated he would be tied either way the solution he thought of, lowered his arms standing into the correct pose.

"Alright then.." He pressed his hands into his pockets, and turned his back towards her,

Shrugging her backpack into a more comfortable position, Juan stepped forward, falling into stride with Rin. "Nope..." Juan didn't know why, but she didn't feel like kicking anyones asses today. She just wanted to collapse onto her bed, or get away from her father. Tomarrow was a Saturday, finally, school would be over for a weekend. She nudged him with her elbow softly, and looked into his dark eyes.
"Look, I'll be fine."

He grinned as Juan nudged him with her shoulder,

"This time, hit him back with your kung-fu moves." He smiled, he nudged her shoulder bumping into her on purpose, but, with not much force.

Juan cracked a tiny grin, as he bumped her shoulder lightly. Her hand brushed against his on accident, but she didn't blush, as she was more comfortable with him than she had been yesterday. It seemed like every time they saw eachother, or talked, thier friendship got a bit stronger, if that was possible.
All too soon, they were nearing Juan's house. Juan visibly stiffened, but tried to look normal.
