Rin

Rin smiled as their hands touched, he also grinned he'd never been so close to girl like this before, he hopped the arrival at her house would be much late, but, atlas her house came into view, he frowned gripping her hand tightly.

"Do you really have to?"

Juan laced her fingers through Rin's, and gave him a small smile. She was used to it. It didn't phase her much anymore. Nodding, she pulled away from Rin gently, then shifted her backpack, walking up the driveway. Only then, did her cheeks start to flame.

(Wait, wasn't she going to go over to his house? Maybe the next day she'll go over there and do homework or soemthing.)

Rin

Rin nodded slightly as she slipped form his hand, he drew back both palms and planted them into his pockets.

"See ya around." He said, then turned around, reaching his house he slipped the key into the door knob twisting the key as he opened the door. He sighed walked dropping his backpack to the ground and keys he slid down with his back pressed against the door. Rin grinned his cheek turned a rosy red.

Juan was greeted with the sound of breaking glass coming from the kitchen. She closed the door behind her, and cheerfully called, "Daddy, I'm home!" The happy sound of her voice made her want to vomit. She crept slowly into the kitchen, and her face fell, her breathing becoming a bit faster. Her father was sitting at the table, surrounded by beer bottles. He turned his bloodshot eyes onto her, and Juan was stock still. Her backpack fell from her hands and hit the ground. He stood, then walked slowly towards her, then suddenly, his hand shot out and gripped her around the neck, and he shoved her roughly against the wall. Juan tried to scream, but he pressed his other hand over his mouth. She tried to dropkick him, but then, he thew her down, her face hitting the ground, the broken glass shards cutting into her flesh. She got to her feet, her cheek having a rivulet of blood running down it. She ducked as a glass bottle was hurled at her head, and her dad started to scream at her. Juan started to cry, and turned, racing out the back door, her father almost stopping her, but she got away. She ran as fast as she could to Rin's house, her face and arms bleeding, then knocked franically on the door.

Crimzen

Rin rested his head inside his lap his arms rapped around his knees his eye lids slowly closed, but, he was awakened by the frantic pounding on his door the racket, made him jump spinning him around to face the door, his heart bounded in his chest he could feel the rhythm in his ears. He stood as he looked through the peeking hole, his eyes widened as blood dripped form the damaged face, the door swung open.

"Ju?!"

Tears started down Juan's face as the door was opened, utterly ashamed that Rin, of all people, had to see her like this. Her tears mixed with the blood running down her face, and a small sob escaped her throat. She turned, hoping she wouldn't see her father appearing over the small hill.

Crimzen

Rin grabbed her hand lightly, closing the door behind him he locked it firmly. He pulled her into his bathroom, running some warm water and a clean towel, setting the towel in the water he let the cloth soak with water. He pulled out the remaining brown glass pieces, luckily there where a few that where deep in her skin, still he checked if there where any small pieces. He reached for the towel squeezing out the warm liquid,

"Hold still." He warned, as he gently placed the towel on her face wipeing the blood away with clean strokes.

Juan felt a bit better when the door locked, then got extremly embarrased as his hand held hers, pulling her into the bathroom. Her school shirt was wet with blood around her neck, and she wondered why she had come to him, instead of anyone else. She managed a small nod as he warned her to stay still, and winced as each piece of glass was pulled out of her skin. The wounds on her face werent deep, but there were a few on her arms. Feeling extremley selfconcious, she raised an arm, and with trembling fingers, started to dislodge the large shards of glass.

Rin

"I got it." He said, as he slowly removed her trembling hands he removed the remaining pieces of glass out of her arm, he noticed her shirt was covered in blood and the smell made him quiver he was about to remove it himself when he noticed he might of been disturbing her personal space, i stepped back hitting his back on the corner of the counter. Rin winced,

"Sorry." He cheeks turned red, "I'll go get you another shirt."

Juan nodded miserably, then raised her eyes to his. "Thanks Rin." She said, her voice soft and shaky. The blood from her shirt made it stick to her body, and she unbuttoned the top buttons, but nothing else. She also slid the red tie off from around her neck, and set it on the counter.

Rin

Rin pu lled out an old shirt one, he wouldn't really wear or need strolling back into the bathroom her shirt unbuttoned he took a deep breathed sliding the bloody shirt off her he laid it against the counter and slid on the new shirt, after wiping her down.

"There." He said, stepping back, "Fell better?"

Juan's face turned red as he slid her shirt off, and she despritley hoped her cami was in place. He didn't seem to notice, thankfully, and soon, she was cleaned off, though she may need a shower to get really clean. Her long hair fell into her eyes, and she looked up at him. Then, surprising herself, she stood up and wrapped her arms around his neck, giving him an apreciative hug.

Rin

Rin froze as Juan rapped her hand around his neck, in a friendly hug. He patted her back nervously,

"Don't mention it." He said, pulling back to give her a smile.

"Do you want something?" He figured she needed something to eat or drink, to get rid of the current events. Although, he knew the thoughts would never really leave her.

Juan could feel Rin stiffen as she hugged him, and imedietly, she let go. She guessed that may have been a bit too far to go. Shaking her head, she sighed.
"No.. I'm ok now."
Standing up, the large shirt hung on her body, falling to her thighs. She gave a lopsided smile, but the effect wasn't quite as cheerful as she hoped, as her scratched and cut face didn't exactly look very.. happy.
She would have to go back. She would have to go back, soon. She couldn't stay with Rin.

Rin

Rin's eyes darken at the thought of her farther,

How could he do that to his own blood?! His thoughts growled, he clenched his teeth pressure build inside his mouth, stopped tasting some blood. He sighed it couldn't be helped even if Rin did report he farther to the police, she would most likely end up in foster care, and she couldn't stay with him and wear his clothes. Rin pulled up his hand placing them in his hair, he messed up his hair violently.

"Gah! This is so frustrating!"

"Rin-"
Juan, once again, placed her hand on his broad chest. "Thank you." She knew she had so much to thank him for. Her dark chocolate eyes looked deeply into his, and besides the cuts on her cheeks, relief could be seen.

Crimzen

Rin eyes opened slowly reveling a more lighter gaze, his cheeks turned a slight pink as she touched.

'She's touching me againnnn!' His thoughts screamed, 'Ok! Just play it cool..' He took a deep breathe as he noticed his heart bang against his chest like a mad drummer,

"No prob." He said, grinning.

Juan returned his grin, with a smart, cocky one of her own. She removed her hand and brushed a long strand of black hair away from her face, then looked to him. "Now what. I have to go home somtime..." She reluctantly looked out the window. Besides, she couldn't burden Rin with staying here. Not that she would mind, but...

"Do you really have too?" He said, in a whinny voice, "Can't you just stay with me?" Rin's faced flushed a bright pink, he grinned shly,

"My room is all yours."

Juan's heart beat faster as he asked her to stay. She wanted to, oh how she did. She didn't know why, but it had seemed like she felt so much better, safer with him. She also felt somthing else, besides the reluctance of leaving to go back to her father, she was reluctant to leave Rin.
Was she falling for him?!
The thought made Juan's cheeks flame, but she managed a smile. "I dont want to burden you.."

Rin grinned sheepishly as he pushed the door opened a bit more,

"It's not a problem, I need the company anyway." He smiled, the cool wind form his room felt refreshing on his warm skin, he noticed her cheeks flamed a bright pink,

"D-don't worry I give you your own pace and everything!"

Juan was startled, and shook her head. "No, No! It wasn't that.." She answered truthfully. Giving him a slight smile, she walked past him, her body brushing his lightly as she moved past.
"But... If I am to stay, I'm going to have to go back to get my stuff.." She trailed off, then a smile lit her face. They could have a midnight breakin.

Rin face grew a bright pink, 'Damn these hormones..' He glowed as she brushed past him,

"Yeah." He said, hearing her comment "I might be able to sneak into your room and get your stuff." Rin laid one arm on his shoulder, rolling it around like a windmill.

"Do you have anything near your window I can stand on?" He asked her.

Juan shook her head wildly, her eyes flashing with concern. "No, I'm not going to let you go in!" She said, horrified. "I'll do it. I just need you for backup."
Luckilly, Juan's bedroom was on the bottom floor, with a window. All she had to do was open it. She stood close to Rin, knowing she was safe, but yet, not wanting to leave him.
It was so confusing. She didn't know what was going on with her!

Rin

Rin managed to keep his hormones and thoughts controlled, he cheeked flamed as his thoughts become more potent with ideas,

"I'll be fine." He said, somewhat shakly. "All I'm doing is going though your window, can you wait outside?" He asked, "I don't want to go through your underwear and everything." Rin faced fumed with red.
