I rasied an eyebow. He's sword? Dude I PAID for it! So if anything it's MY sword! I already know his name and how he looks like so it's enough for the police. "Ok then?" I said rasing an eyebrow as I gave him MY sword.

I take the sword and make a quick, half-inch deep cut in the shape of a cross on the man's shoulder. He choked, and Shook his head rapidly. When his head fell back, a dark cloud rose from his mouth and disappeared into the Earth. I waited for a few seconds, and then the demon's vessel came to. He scrambled to an upright position and ran from me. Smooth, white designs glowed on the sword's blade, and I quickly wipe the blood from the surface. I take the girl's wrist in my hand and murmur a few words quick and under my breath. We then were outside of her house. I release my grip on her, but not on my sword. "I'm sorry for the surprise" I say calmly.

I was surprised by what I saw. What was that thing? Did MY sword kill him? WHAT is Micheal anyways?! If he wasnt surprised like I am then he's not human! I looked at Micheal then I sighed. "Listen,I had a LONG day ok? So I can just please get the sword back so I can home and take a nap?" I asked him as I took out my hand. Waiting for MY sword.

I shake my head slowly "If you want, I will pay for the sword but I cannot give it back to you, I'm sorry. This was never meant to be more than a myth to you humans anyway" I say and push the sword into my belt at the back of my jeans. I adjust my shirt so that it covered the blade then looked back to Safiria.

"You need to answer me some questions first." I told Micheal. "First of all, what ARE you? Second of all, what was that thing? Some kind of demon?" I asked him. Trust me, it hurts me to treat this sexy man like this, but he's holding things from me. And when someone is holding things from me I need to know or i'll get mad.

I shake my head and manage a small laugh before glancing over towards the streets. Just a few people were wandering around the sidewalks, but luckily they weren't attracting any attention. "I'll answer the second question with a yes. I am not aloud to inform you of what I truly am, however." He said, his light blue eyes soft but still sharp with a determination beyond any simple task.

Safiria sighed. "Fine, i'll take what I can get." She looked at him. "You can keep the sword. Thanks for saving from that demon thing." Safiria said smiling at him. "I really need to get home, I gotta feed my cat, my dog and my pet rat or they'll start eating each other." She said giggling.

I listened to her sigh and my lips curl down slightly in a frown. The emotion was swept away shortly after, and he nodded. The phrase confused him, he knew what the creatures were but not exactly what they ate. He chuckled at her giggle, and nodded. "Alright" He said, but he didn't move to leave. "Try not to get into trouble" He said, because something about her seemed to show her interest. That sort of curiosity could get ehr hurt in a time like this.

"Maybe you can make sure I don't get into trouble by taking me home." Safiria said smiling at him. "I do have a knack of getting into trouble. Having a escort can hopefully change that but I don't know for sure. No man ever cared about me enough to make sure I get home." Safiria said looking at him. Com'n you sexy man god take me home! Safiria thought waiting for his response.

A grin lifted on my thin lips at her request, and I laugh softly. "I guess it wouldn't hurt" I said, amused. The mortal female was quite brave, most would turn and run after what I had done. She, however, seemed practically unaffected. The ice of my gaze turned down the street and then back to hers. "I'll follow you?" I offered, unsure of where she lived.

Yes! Yes! I thought as I looked at Micheal. "Yes." I told him calmly as I held his hand and I began to pull him to the right to my apartment building. "Com'n you slow poke lets go!" I said happily to him. I personally have seen weirder. Once in college I found out my room mate was a furry when we went to the desert. I saw her put on a wolf costume and the others in the group put on their animal costumes then had sex in each other. Oh god that was horrible...

I cock an eyebrow, but fall into stride with her as she tugged on my arm.

I smiled at him. "Your gonna love my pets, they love to meet new people!" I told him smiling. I haven't had a friend or someone in my house for a long time.

I pulled my hand from hers and stop. "I can't stay long though... I've got to finish everything" I said, cocking an eyebrow only temporarily.

I looked at him. "Oh ok then." I said. "I haven't really had visitors in while. It gets pretty lonely in my apartment though. I don't really any friends in this place..." I admitted to him. "So if you wanna leave now you can. I will not stop you." I told him.

Michael shook his head softly and stepped forward. "No, it's alright. I just need to be going before nightfall" He informed her, then turned back. The light blue of his eyes seemed other-wordly, and afterall, they were. Michael moved once hand back to ensure the sword was still there before offering to take her hand once more.

Safiria nodded. "Sure, i'll make sure you leave in the afternoon." She said smiling as she held his hand. "So you can be back to where ever you have to go before nightfall." Safiria said as she began to walk to her apartment. Safiria was happy that she finally has some companionship in this city, after all, this was her first month here.

micahel nodded curtly at her words and followed her willingly this time. His movements were eerily silent, but not in a dangerous way. He turned his eyes away from the sidewalk to take in the many sights that Earth held. He had been to this realm long ago, but it was much different then. Now, it seemed full of God's proud children. Honestly, Michael didn't understand his father's love for the creatures. They were imperfect, and had betrayed him many times in the past. He respected his father's decision however, for they were rarely anything but wise.

"So do you live around here Michael? I'm new around this city, so the only ways I know around here is my way home." She said as she stopped near a apartment building. She took out her keys and opened the door. "I hope your ready to walk, I live on the 5th floor." She said as she left the door open for him.

Michael's eyes watched as her key slid into the lock. He shook his head slowly at her question. "I'm not from around here" He told her, glancing back for a moment. His blue/grey eyes returned to her as she waited for him to step inside. Michael walked in and shut the door behind him. "That's fine" He said softly.

Safiria smiled at him. "Alrighty then!" She said as she began to walk up the stairs.

Michael chuckled and bounded up the stairs after her.

"Last one to the 5th floor has to change the litterbox!" She yelled out laughing as she ran up stairs.

michael didn't quite know what she meant, but he assumed it was something unpleasant. Grinning, he sped up to the platform of the 5th floor. Leaning against the wall, he smirked as he awaited her appearance.
