"This my territory! Dont you even try to take the female!" I growled at the male. His ears drooped, and he ran away. I turn to the lioness. "I'm sorry. But we have to defend our territory."

"I understand, Wow, your really brave." I say, I flop down under the shade of a Boabob tree, "So, why do you roam these parts of the plains?" I said, flicking flies away with my tail

"Why? Because its my home." I anwered simply, also following her and lying in the shade of the tree, trying to get relief from the savanah sun.

"Wait, I think I've spotted something." I said, stalking a gemsbok gazzelle grazing in the itchy tall grass.

[Spritz]

I stand back, as usually only they lionesses did the hunting. My keen eyes watch her stalk the gazzele, and I could see it was a hit.

I jumped out with a roar, I pounced on its back and bit its neck so it could no longer breathe, I dragged the gazzelle over and started to eat, clearly letting the male have some too.

[Spritz]

I smirked. It had been a clean kill. As she dragged the dead carcass over, I nuzzled her shoulder appreachiativley. (Sp? lol)

I nuzzled him back "I hope you like gazelle, because im still learning how to catch zebra! there to protective over there foals." I said, looking at the male gazelle.

I lick her cheek tentitavley. "I like anything." I push the Gazzele over to her a bit. "Go ahead, eat."

"Thankyou." I said, I was starving, I had eaten almost half the deer when I began to feel full, I Huffed and said, "Do you want some? Im too full!"

[Spritz]

I nodded, lowering my massive head and opening my jaws, ripping off a peice of the deer.

I laid on my side abit, soaking up all the sun I could get, the rain season was coming.

After I had finished eating, I walked over to her, huge paws lightly landing on the dry cracked ground.

I yawned lightly, almost like a hyena.

Flopping down beside her, my tail swishes, touching hers lightly. I rest my head on my huge paws, golden eyes staring into the distance.

I dig my nose into his beutiful mane, its fibres dancing on the tip of my nose.

I smile, turning and licking her cheek softly, wet tounge grooming her as I would a cub, as we would a cub if we ever would have one.

I looked at his golden eyes, they shimmered in the sun.

[Spritz]

"So, whats you're story?" I asked, voice low and pleasing to hear.

"Hmmmm, my story, well I was born to the leader of the pride lands, but life as a cub, I could only stay in my fathers distance, and oneday, I was playing with some cubs I didnt know, they didnt live in the pridelands, so after about an hour I returned, and father told me off for playing with cubs I didnt know, so we all had meetings in secret behind a rock, One male cub, he was dreamy, and, we started too fall in love, but then his family had to move away to a different plain. life as a teen was better than a cub, but not that great, now I was allowed anywhere on the pridelands but not allowed too hunt anything, and now im a young adult, Im moving on, a new adventure, so whats your story?" I said, drawing pictures in the dusty sand.

[Spritz]

The males eyes flashed suddenly, as she told her story about how she had fallen for the male cub. He could distincly remember when he was young, when he lived around here, playing with a group of friends, a young female catching his heart. He had moved away. Was this her? He had been searching for her for all of his life! She seemed so different!

My eyes widened and I tilted my head "Zemar?" I said.

My face lifted a tiny bit. "Sophia?" My voice was unbelieving. "Is it you!?"

I opened my mouth more and nodded quickly but softly I gasped and ran in circles around him "Oh my gosh, its you, its you its you!" I shouted for joy.

[Spritz]

I roared, the sound filled with exitement and happiness, then that of a territorial roar. I got to my feet, chasing after Sophia and tackling her, laughing as I had done in old times.
