I rose upwards into the sky, straight like an arrow, soaring past the male. I hoped he would come up with me. I continued to fly upwards, dissapearing into a white cloud.

We reach far into the cloud, then burst out, into the warm sunshine and blue skies. I sigh happily, my bright red scales shimmering.

"I dive back down and shout "Follow me!" As I dived down to the sea, I spread out my wings to stop me hitting the sea, I was like one of them plains which hover on the occean, I carfully put each claw down on top off the water.

I lay, curled beside the small rock nest, eyes open and watching. I could feel that the eggs were about to hatch, and I wrapped my tail protectivly around the nest. The heat from the fire didnt burn me, since it was my own flame that kept them warm.

A small squeek came out of the black egg, and it moved a little, falling onto its side and bumping the golden one. I was suddenly very frightened. What if I had it at the wrong tempature!?

The egg shook again, rolling into the green one, which suddenly changed into a vibrant red.

The egg shuddered, changing into a soft orange glow, much like the fire. I cocked my head, looking at it intently. The other four still showed no signs of movement.
