I spotted her and landed softly into a tree, hiding, twiggs snapping occasionaly.

I feel a soft rushing of air, but dont turn around, completing my nest and lying down in it, waiting untill I would lay my eggs. My eyes closed, and I fell back into a light sleep, my tail curled around my body.

What would I do next? I didnt want to wake her! Whilst I thought of a soulution, A branch gave way beneath him! as he fell he shouted "Woahhh!" he fell on the ground in a piled heap, "Owww...." He moaned.

A shout woke me instantly out of my sleep. I bolted upright, and spread my wings, trying to make the intruder think that I was bigger than I actually was. Looking down over the edge of the nest, I see the father of my babies, and give him an evil glare, before curling back up in the nest, eyes wide and sad.

I notice that she had seen me "Look, Im sorry that I forced you, I was looking for a mate, and every female I asked that accepted had either fled with another male, or ditched me." I said remering the day my heart black.

"Still, there was no reason you couldnt of asked me." I say, but I also knew it was my fault. I spread my wing and cover myself with it, saying I didnt want to talk right now. But I didnt want him to go either. I decided that if he came into the nest, I would let him stay with me for a little while at least.

Feeling him rise up and hover over the nest, I dont move, giving him no reason he shouldnt come in. I secretly scoot over a little, the nest now big enough for both of out large forms.

I remove my wings from my head and step into the nest, I sat down comfotly, leaving the guilt behind me.

Feeling his warm body next to mine, I raise my head, but then lower it, seeing that he was comfortably positioned.

I wake up in the middle of the night, and lay 5 perfect, round eggs. They were each different colors, but at this time of night, I couldnt tell what they were. I laid down again, and fell asleep, wing covoring the male protectivly.

The suns rays woke me up early, and I could feel the five bulges under me. Smiling, I raise my head and yawn, before turning to examine the eggs.

I roll my eyes, and look at the eggs again. One was a bright golden egg, another was dark green, with tiny white Ivy trails. One was pure black, with a small orange star. One was Pure white, that shimmered like a rainbow, and the last one was purple, dark and royal.

I was dazzled by the one with the star on, of course all of the eggs were stunning, but that perticular egg was very pretty.

I covered the eggs with my tail, protecting them from thier father, whom I didnt fully trust. And to keep them warm.

I streched out my front legs, and spotted a full grown stag, Big enough for me and Soulcharmer to eat, I Jumped out of the nest quietly and lashed out at it, killing it, I dragged it back up to the nest and said "Here, that should last us the night" I said checking it was dead.
