Carli yanked her arm out from under his paw, scratching her arm. "Get your paws off me." She whispered, bringing her own hand to her throat. "Your afraid because you don't want me to tell any one about you existing. You are afraid hunters are going to rid you of your privacy." Carli grabbed the camera, throwing into the bushes with a gentle amount of energy. "Only because I will get another chance at this. Unless you kill me."

"Maybe I should kill you then" I say and shift my weight to my other paw before moving it to her throat again. "What do you say?" I smirk, her voice was hoarse in her last words from lack of oxygen.

My ears caught her words, and she was right. Why would I show who I really was? I snort loudly at her comment and dart around trees, easily manuevering in the familiar forest. I reach my den and cozily position myself inside. Resting my amber eyes.

She quietly slipped inside, running into her dad. "What happened?" He cried, hugging her close and rubbing the wound. "I fell in the bushes." She lied. "Bushes don't do that." He said, cleaning the wound and sending her to bed.

In the morning, I ventured into the city. Stopping at a Denny's for breakfast. The smell of syrup and pancake welcoming me. "Anyone meeting you?" The rather hot, waitress greeted me. I shake my head and she leads me to a two person window table. I order a coffee and look over the menu. Thinking of the close call last night.

Carli walked by with a boy a bit older than her. It seemed they were arguing. And it was confirmed when he slapped her and stalked away. "Oh come on! Is that all you got?" She yelled, shaking her head. and leaning against the wall. Today, she was dressed in her regular black shirt and flare jeans.

The waitress comes back with my pancakes and syrup. I take a drink of my coffee and watch as the waitress walks away. A cocky grin tugging at my lips. Arguing reached my ears and I looked outside to see the girl from the other night, arguing with a man. I shake my head and take a large bite of fluffy pancake.

I stand up and take the last bite of my pancake, and last drink of coffee, leaving the tip and walking out of the Denny's. I was placing my wallet in my back pocket when I ran right into the man she was arguing with. He scowls at me. "What?" I shrug, then throw a punch at him. Nearly breaking his jaw. He falls back down and I chuckle slightly. Stepping onto the sidewalk and taking a left. Following the girl without knowing it.

Carli ran a hand through her hair, digging through her bag and pulled out a stick of gum and her phone. Carli gently chewed as she called her dad and leaned against the wall, laughing. "Yeah, mind bringing the shot gun?" She kidded, saying the whole I love you thing and hung up. "You are probably the only guy who won't hurt me." She said to the phone.

I turn down an alley, walking to god knows where for god knows what. I had passed the girl who threatened my photo the night before. Watching her slightly but averting my gaze as she was talking to her father. I grab a bouncy ball I found on the ground, and bounced it against the muddy earth below me. Watching as I leaps over my head and falls back down. I catch it and bounce it again, this time less high.

Carli glanced up, glaring slightly. A friend greeted her, pulling the girl away a stumble. "Jen, no. You're drunk." Carli said, pushing her away. "No Charlie... Ask David Over here...." Jen said, pointing at her own drunk boyfriend. "I told you not to call me that." Carli grumbled. "But you always wanted to be called that as a kid... said your name was a bit too girly." "Jen," Carli said, "I only wanted to be called that cause you could make a nick name out of it." Jen laughed. "Come on... It'll be fun..." Carli looked over at David, shaking her head. "Na-" Carli was cut off when jen grabbed her shoulder, but was released when She kneed he drunken friend in the gut. "Come on Dav..." Jen said, pulling him away looking rather shaken.

I duck as the bouncy ball shatters a window. Laughing slighty, and running towards the sidewalk. I slow to a walk and take a left out onto the sidewalk. Glancing over to find her knee her friend and being left alone. I cock an eyebrown and turn away, not wanting to get involved.
