A bolt of lightning lit up the sky, flashing the cave bright, then dark again. The thunder boomed, shaking the very ground below us. I licked her cheek softly, a small reasurance.

The storm outside was beginning to worry her, and Nimf snuggled closely to him for reassurance. Though when the thunder boomed and lightning crackled, the touch of his tongue on her cheek helped her feel safe. She rested her head against his neck and whispered, "I'm glad you're here with me."

[Spritz]

I dont reply, but a swell of happiness rises up in me. Little by little, I start to drift off to sleep, lulled by her rythmac breathing, and the shared warmth from our bodies, side by side.

Nimf noticed him fall asleep, and he smiled as she laid her head against his shoulder and stifled a yawn, shuffling her feathers uneasily as the storm raged outside. I snorted and fell asleep beside him, lulled by the steady rise and fall of his chest.

[Spritz]

Morning

I stir slightly, and open my eyes, seeing a warm sun lighting our cave with rays of golden light. I notice that Nimf was still asleep, and I dont move, fearing I would wake her. I studied her face, her beautiful face tampering down to a delacate muzzle. I see her nostrils flare and relax, as she breathes in a rythmac motion, fast asleep.

Nimf, in her sleep, felt the warm sun's rays on her white pelt. She felt the heated body next to her stir gently, and it took her a moment for her body to realize that he was awake. Nimf herself stirred and she lifted her head, smiling at Avalon. "Good morning," She whispered, yawning.

[Spritz]

I smile, and nuzzle her, gently nipping her ear. "Good morning beautiful." I say, licking her cheek softly.

[Guest]

Nimf blushed slightly, her cheeks flushing a rosy pink. "Handsome," she nuzzled him and pulled on his mane gently, yawning.

[ so short, sry!! ]

[Spritz]

I stand and shake off, dirt falling off of my black hide. I gazed down at her, puzzled. "Why me?" I ask simply, the question popping into my head on a whim.

[Guest]

Nimf stood up and opened her wings to get off the dirt. Nimf looked at him qith a confused look, "What do you mean, 'why you?'" She asked, confused.

[Spritz]

I shake my mane and flick a few flies off of her white hide with my purple tail. "Why me over another stallion?"

[Guest]

Nimf tilted her head and replied, "Because you seem different then those rapist bastards," she whispered and dropped her gaze, blushing slightly.

[Spritz]

"Ahh." I say, but I was a bit confused. "There are others like me-" I turn and nip my flank, then turn back to her, eyes sparkling with happiness.
