He did well in all his training after sometime time..............I walked to the gate and went in fine but when they closed it I reared once then came down.I pawed the ground ferociously.

Riley kept his seat and the gate handler's calmed the colt finall. They repeted the proses and soon they had him in the gate quetly. Then the gate door's flew open!

When the door opened I ran out and reared before sprinting fast.

Riley followed the leaping motion of the colt his hands further uo the slender neck as they jumped onto the track layed out before them. He let the colt settle into stride and kept him close to the inner rail but gave a gentle pull on the reins softly calling 'wow' to slow the youngster not wanting him to get hurt. "Settle down Star." He paused rocking in the saddle as the chestnut galloped "Easy big guy." he cooed.

He slowly came to a jerky halt, his tail moving from side to side hitting the few flies.

Riley only wanted the colt to trot back down the stretch to the gate, they let him out agian and agian untill it was done they way Ronny wanted the colt to come out. After the sesefule day Ronny wanted to call the colts owner and let her see how he was doing-

I got a phone call and picked up the phone, "Hello?" She asked.

The colt waited in his stall.

"I just wanted to call and let you know Star shoes broke cleanly from the gate, I'm thinking about keeping him here for a month or two before shiping him off to the track." He said "Would you like to come and see him?" He asked

"Great and I'm pretty much bizzy right now....Oh sh*t!" I said and closed the phone for I had spilled the ink bodle all over the paper work I was working on.

I frown a little. "Oh well Sammy get that colt in his stall where done for the day." I said walking into the training barn where Sammy had the colt in the cross ties and ahd just finished brushing him.

The colt snorts and gives a ready to go look.

Sammy lead the colt into his stall "You get ahold of his owner?" He asked Ronny. "Didn't really get an awnser from her." He said-

The colt snorted and pulled them to his stall. Once there and in he plopped right down and closed his eyes, falling asleep.
