He rose from his moss nest and jogged out of his den that was placed under the high rock. He could hear rustles of cats awaking now, and the slight sound of the river slamming up against the bank...

She shoke her fur to rid of the moss that she layed in everynight, she stepped out of the warriors den and trotled toward the fresh-kill pile to get a vole, and i walked over to the nettle patch and sat down to fest on the vole i took...

She jogged form the warriors den and seen FernStar, she meowed to him form across the clearing and smiled as he started to turn and walk straight toward her....

I stepped out of the warriors den and yawned. The sounds of cats waking filled my ears as I shook my orange coat out. I trotted over to the fresh kill pile and picked up a bird in my jaws. My claws flexed in and out as I trotted over to DreamFire. Sitting beside her, I looked towards her and said, " I had a odd dream last night, as if Star Clan sent me something." WIth a shrug of my shoulders i rolled the bird over on it's back and took a bite of it's plump breast. Chewing thoughtfully, with a blank look in my eyes.

DeadFoot~

A low growl rumbled out of my throat as I emerged from the Deputy Den,my own private den.It was small I had to admit but it was designed for only me and my family that I don't have. I was in a bad mood, hair was on end and my eyes were alert and ready to pick a fight.I jogged over to the kill and tore into the chest on a young field mouse.It was nice and tender,but not as meaty as I had hoped.

I yawned as I emerged from the medicine den,my mentor Leafpool was still sleeping,and today I decided to get an early start.My whiskers twitched at the scent of blood.Most of the cats in this tribe rejected me because I was quite sensitive to blood and didn't like it near me.I preferred to eat berries and wild catnip,even though it wasn't the best diet.

With a sigh I realized that DreamFire wasn't going to answer. PoppyPaw's scent filled my nostrils when I finished the magpie. I shook the scent out of my head and wondered if I could go on a patrol. My light feet carried me to DeadFoot, " DeadFoot?" I meowed. The dream was bothering me and I wanted to get out.

"Yes,SparkPelt?"I answered impatiently.You wouldn't notice the edge in my voice very easily but it was still there.But I wasn't acting too nasty with SparkPelt because she usually brought out my soft side;or my softer side for some werid reason.The tip of my tail flickered to the left,then to right.It was a habit,usually the young kits would chase my tail;fun times.

She threw her head up hearing StarClan, and Dream escape SparkPelt's throat. She jumped up and jogged over to DeadFoot adn SparkPelt.... " Dream? StarClan.... What is this about Dream, and StarCaln... I have had plenty dreams before with StarClan..." I sid and leaned forward... And then meowed my tail tucked tightly around my massive paws... " StarClan sent me a message saying that ' Four will become two, Lion and Tiger will meet in battle, and blood will rule the forest...." DreamFires words filled with unease and a crackle in her voice when she said that, her beautiful voice now filled with uenaes... She looked at DeadFoot adn smiled, she touched his flank with her nose...

I flinched at her touch and turned to her with a smile."Well Good Morning DreamFire.How are you this fine morning?"I asked her.I leaned forward and licked a dab of blood off of the bottom of her chin where she was unable to reach during grooming time..

She licked his muzzle, and chuckled " Great how are you DeadFoot.." i said giving him a evil smirk and i stood and flicked my tail " Want to come on a patrol with me..." DreamFire turned to SprakPelt " SparkPelt, would you like to join?" i aked and licked her pelt then DeadFoots chest, now grooming his ear...

I ran my rough tounge alone her cheek affectionately."Sure,and I'm great,now that your here."I mewed,I was quite smooth talker and that was a reason the Faes liked me so much.I walked around DreamFIre,rubbing my body against hers..

She smirked and ran her tounge along his side as he walked around her, then she stiffened up and said " Alright then, lets go, SparkPelt, EpicClaw come!.." I say and lead the way, with DeadFoot aT MY SIDE...

i turned around and raced toward the gorse tunnel and out the raven with DeadFoot, SparkPelt, and DreamFire...

Numerous smells travled up my nasal passages but one was the strongest. It was of our neighboring clan marking their territory recently.But they had crossed over the lines,making their territory bigger.This called for war,I yowled loudly and ran to the lines ahead of everybody. I met there by the other deputy of our neighboring clan.We hissed and spat at each other..

She hurried down to where DeadFoot was, she stopped at his side and said " What are your patrol doing across our territory, LongWhisker?!" I spat. The haris rising on my shoulders and i hissed at swiped at paw at him...

She groweld and raced down to meet beside DreamFire adn i hissed and spat at LeopardHeart the ShadowClan warrior....

Suddenly I lunged,my large fangs sinking into LongWhisker's throat.The injuries were minor,but might get an infection.I batted him on the nose with my paw."Now go back to your leader,and annouce that we challenge you to war over the lands.Winner gets the loser's entire land."I roared about to attack again,before he scuttled away.

She hissed and clawed down LeopardHearts chest making it bleed terribly.... Then i widen my eyes when hearing what DeadFoot said " Entire Land!" I spat shaking my head " No! DeadFoot what if we loose, where are we gonna go?!" She hissed and then the fur on her shoulders bristled and stood on end....

She stood there stunned " Enitre Land, are you mouse-brained!" I spat..

"We are going to win,their numbers are small and their skills are lame."I spat."Your mouse-brained beucase you actually are doubting our pack"I growled.My hackles rose upon my back and I spat at them stalking away."They have god hunting ground,our supply in lowering rapidly."I spat.

She walked along side DeadFoot, and she looked at him and rubbed her head against his shoulder...

She snroted ruthlessly and growled snapping right back at him " I'm not doubting our Clan..." I spat...

"Then what are you doing by saying what if we loose,we won't "I reassured her in a calm and relaxing voice.I nodded at DreamFire,breaking into a jog to head back towards camp.My senses were all on high alert asI made my way back through.During the whole patrol,not one mouse nor bird was seen.This is what I was talking about by our resources running low.

She nodded to DeaFoot and beckoned with her tail for EpicClaw to keep up...

She padded forward and now was padding besdie DreamFire and DeadFoot...

ONce back at camp I lied down in the shade,my eyes half closed.I was tired and would need my rest for the battle.

" Well, it was something about... uh," i hesitated for a moment, " Something about a traitor and a friend. Its hard to remember really." I shook my head as they offered grooming. Being shy was just part of me I guess. As they started grooming I trotted off, forgetting about going on a patrol. " I think I'll go on my own patrol." a mischievious glint in my eye as the thought entered my head. What could ho wrong? I wouldn't go far.

I stretched out in the cool shade,relaxing.My eyes closed and within moments I fell into a deep sleep,I dreamt about the war,the pack,my love..
Most were pleasant dreams,but not the one about war,well not until the end when we won..

With a shudder, I stepped through the gorse tunnel. The sound of the river filled my ears. " They will never know I left." I chuckled in my head. My nose twitched, but I did not smell much. " Nothing worth sneaking off for." I scoffed and went through the tunnel again. Seeing DeadFoot asleep, a sigh escaped my throat. The idea of going on a patrol with other cats came back to me and I was raring to go. Although, I did not know if he had sent them already. So, I layed in a sunny spot and waited for orders or for DeadFoot to wake up.

I shruddered and I awoke in a cold sweat.I was surprised to see Sparkle standing over me,but I decided to be friendly and mewed a hello anyways.In a deep gruff voice I mewed "Prepare yourself,we are going into war soon."I nodded my head and rose to my paws,I stole a glance at the food pile.It was very low.Only about 5 birds left and 2 mice.With a large sigh I plodded over to the stream.

My breath left me as he mentioned war. " Well, then I'm ready for it." I mew following him. My glance followed his over to the kill pile. " Can I go on a patrol with some one? I'm not sure if you have already sent them." With ears pricked I wondered what he would say.
