Anna~ "Oh right!" I said. "Bath time. I'll go get the water started, sweets. Be right back." I went into the other room and in a matter of minutes had a nice warm bath ready. "Come here, girl!"

Treetop smiled and barked following her into the bathroom...

Anna~ i lifted Treetop into the tub and poured a cup of warm water over her until she was completely wet. I put some shampoo on her coat and rubbed it in before rinsing it out thoroughly. I put in some dog conditioner coat shine and rinsed that out, as well. After the bath, I took her out of the tub and dried her off. Her coat was shining and soft like silk. "Now don't you feel better?" I rubbed her head after she was compeletely dry. "Now I have to go back and do some work. Go have some fun with Dakota."

Treetop barked twice and ran back into the dog room... "Back," She says happily.

Dakota~ My mouth nearly dropped when I saw her. "You look....fantastic. That bath did ya good!" I nuzzled her, the sweet smell filling my nose. It was a beautiful aroma. I nuzzled her, licking her nose. "Now....what should we do?"

Treetop thought for a moment... then looked back at him with hopful eyes... "I've always wanted to explore the city," Sh says hoping that he said that they could go... together...

Dakota~ "That works. With or without Anna? I know a secret way out. she'll never even notice we're gone."

Treetop looks at him and thinks about it... Sneaking out? Was that even nessary without being caught? She nodded. "Lead the way."

Dakota~ I walked down the hallway to the back door. "This is something I didn't show you." I crawled through the doggy-door and into the garage. Their garage was under construction, and therefore had no door to close it off from the rest of the world. I ran outside and went a sharp right. "Don't walk in front of any of the windows." I sprinted out into the road and across into the neighbor's house, disappearing in the woods behind their house. There I sat and waited for Treetop.

Treetop smiled and raced over to him quickly.... "I'm here," She pants.

Dakota~ I smile. "Cute," I say to myself. I begin to walk slowly until we reached the interstate. "I cannot tell you enough how careful you need to be right now. You get hit by one of those things, you're dead..!" I darted across the street only to be met by a car. The car slammed on its breaks, barely missing. I nearly passed out. "Come on!" I darted across the street from the traffic lanes while angry people were honking their horns. "That was fun." I said when I reached the other side. I began to trot along the sidewalk. "We'll be near my favorite part soon."

One Look In Her Eyes & You'll see so much more..

Treetop giggled and nodded. "Yeah, I'm so excited!" She blurted out.... with a big smiled.... "This place is really amazing...." She looked around looking at all the people walking with smiles on thier faces... She hurried acoss the street and...almost getting hit by a truck. "T-those t-things tried to attack me," She said and hid her eyes in Dakoda's fur... Soon, she stuck it out to hear a quacking sound from behind them... she looked behind her and saw a small bridge thing. She jumped up on an bench to see ducks and beautiful glowing water.... that seemed to reflect her eyes. Swim, quack, quck, swim... it was just so beautiful... "Dakotda come look," She exclaimed... looking out... the wind of that the rushing pond made, made Treetop's fur whirl around. She closed her eyes and let the wind take her away to an breathless island or a safarie get away... We'll be at my favorite part soon. Rung in her head like a thousand church bells ringing... she kinda forgot about it... but then it came back to her.... Hopefully this was his favourite spot... it's so exciting

Dakota~ I barked. "Isn't it?" I ran down to the lake and to the very end of it. There was a small white gazebo with different pink, red, and yellow roses on the sides. Ivy was intertwined with the gazebo's flooring, and also on the roof. I went into the gazebo. It smelled wonderful, like it always did. I never got tired of this place. I stood up, propping my front paws on the ivy-covered railing and looked out over the large pond. The ducks swam peacefully and here and there you saw a fish jumping. There were lotus flowers floating on the top of the water. "This is my favorite place..." I sighed happily.

Treetop barked, coming down to join him. She licked his cheek and nuzzled him
enjoying every moment that they were having together.
This is my favorite place.
She heard him say in her mind once more... she smiled and sat down to nuzzle him and look out into the pond.

Dakota~ "I have an idea," I said, jumping over the railing of the gazebo. I ran and jumped into the pond, creating a huge splash. "come and join me! The water is wonderful!"

Treetop pinned her ears to her cranium nervously... "I...don't know....Dakota wh-what if she sees us," she complained. Watching him excitedly jump and splash through the water... it looked sooo fun but she just forced herself to look away or else she'll do it anyway.

Dakota~ "Anna?" I laughed. "We'll be dry by the time we get home. I promise! Don't worry about it. Or we can go the park if you want," I said, swimming to the shore and shaking off.

Treetop smiled and nodded. "Sure why not," she asked him then her stomach growled thinking she would wake up from this lovely dream but, she realized it was REAL! She looked over at Dakota, looking embarrassed. "Ugh I'm hungry... is there anywhere that we can eat?"

Dakota~ "I'm friends with the meat guy. He can give us some peperoni or beef," I said, pondering. "Or we can get somethin' out of the trash..." I made an "ew" face.

Treetop agreed with him making an disgusted face. She nodded, "Yeah, I'd rather have the meat..." She looked around excitedly.

Dakota~ "Okay, follow me," I started trotting along the sidewalk a ways, headed towards the meat shop.

Treetop followed behind him happily.

Dakota~ "We have to cross the street again," as I sprinted as fast as i could to get to the other side. I leaped on the hood of a car, and leaped off again, nearly falling. I tripped and was almost hit by a sixteen-wheeler(sp?). I looked behind me once before I continued to the other side, then sat to wait for Treetop, panting.

Dakota~ I walk across the sidewalk for about ten minutes before reaching the meat store and going through the doggy door. I was happily greeted by a heavy-set man in a chef's hat and had a french mustache. Not somebody you'd likely see in a butcher shop...

Man~ "Oh, Dakota! How are we today? And, and I zee you have brought yourself a little friend... Is ze friend nice?" he reached out to Treetop, patting her on the head in small, quick taps. "Yez, I ze. Nice dog. I will bring you some beef. I just cut some up. Stay right here."
