Once again I ignore the scent from Vertiea, as inviting as it was. Still sensing hostility from the one Almond Joy I watch her closely. Yes she was a pretty mare, but I was no fool. I would keep my distance until her attitude proved otherwise. Snorting softly I dip my head in Joy's responce. (sp sorry brain fart lol) "That is a very intriging name." I say as my handsome smile crosses my face momentarily. Though she seemed to ignore my words as she loped away to the creek that Vertiea had accompanied only minutes before. Pricking my ears I watch her for a few seconds before I turn my head to Vertiea and smile. "You have not said much." My grin was wide and held a humorous look to it as was my voice a happy note. Flicking my long silver mane I swing my head around with pinned ears and nip at the horse fly that rested on my back. In annoyance the buggard flew off, its wings beating to that irritating sound as it left. Wrinkling my nose I scowl at it momentarily before flicking my ears forward again and turning back to Vertiea.
Throwing a glance at the river I watch as Almond Joy plunged her head into the water it occured to me that both mares very much liked water. Hmm, that meant that most likey their children would make great steeds when it came to crossing water. Though I did not know in other aspects or characteristics if it would be the same. Besides, I would breed with neither until I knew more and if they joined me.

I tried to contain myself, but a huge smile eventually cracked on my face at Vertiea's words. Chuckling I reply. "That is a good idea, I'm sure though, that she isn't all that bad." Flicking my tail I turn to watch Almond Joys moves. She moved with precision and knowledge, very well deadly. And I could use her in my herd, not only because she would be a good addition but also because of her spirit. All around, she was just very intriging (sp) as was Vertiea. Nickering then sneezing I toss my head and strike out with a powerful front leg at an invisible enemy. Then an evil smirk crosses my face, moving quickly into a trot I cover the ground between me and Vertiea in mere seconds. Stopping suddenly next to her I tuck my head and reach over a little bit, nipping her shoulder roughly, then squeal and rear pushing her. Grinning I side step away micheviously, my tail lashing out behind me continuely.

Flair ~ I lifted my hair hearing the distant frolicking of horses, I smiled and started to walk in that direction. I had longed for the company of other horses for many weeks. I was a reasonably docile mare, although if some pressed me to far, it would be a wise idea to stand a few feet away from me. My long black mane flowed over my neck which was neatly arched. I stood at 16.9 hands high. I came to where the noises had come from seeing a stallion and a few other mares. I whinnyied as I stepped from the shadows of the tree line, my silky black coat shimmering.. " Hello..."

Almond Joy`s head whipped around at all on the commotion. With a shake of her large head she showed her disgust, all the while her tail lashing out behind her. With a ferocious shake of her head Joy snapped her jaws threateningly at him, warning him to not try that with her.Almond Joy was a mare that didn't take crap,if anybody messed around with her they would be lying upon the ground in a matter of moment, but that also depends on the horse...a big strong stud such as Kind Arthur,it would be the other way around most likely.Though she kept her distance from the two, occasionally looking over her shoulder at them. With a grunt the mare returned to grazing contentedly. The only thing that bothered her were the pesky flies, but she rid of them just with a small flick of her tail to her flanks.
The voice of another mare flowed to her ear drums,Joy spun around on her heels, her ears immediately pinned to her cranium in surprise."What do you want."The mare spat, her eyes narrowing dangerously as her eyes scanned the mare over.Perhaps Almond Joy could have chose a friendlier greeting, but her nasty greeting was due to a bad mood.

Vertiea~
I threw my head up hearing another mare, i growled low in my throut as she approched us, i snorted and replied "Hello, the names Vertiea " i said and lashed my tail out, then nipped arthurs side, and turning away into the deathly shadows, i was alot taller then the new mare and seemed stronger, but we will have too find out, sooner or later.... smirking at the thought of fighting, seemed great right now, my ears pricked listening to my ssurroundings, i lowered my head and began to lap up my fill of water, after i was full of water, i watched them from a distance, and my knees buckled, making me collapose to the ground.... I sighed and layed my head on the ground watching them, soon closing my eyes.
Flash~
I walked amoung the trees, seeing alot of mares by only one stud, i snorted and rolled my eyes, wathcing from a hill top, and rearing striking at an unknown enemy and landing with a huge thud, i was a mare of true colors, i can be as nice as a new born foal, but ruthless as the devil with pushed too far, my saying of me was 'push me to far, you wont like what i will become' i grinned evily at the stud, making my coal black coat glow, showing my mucles and my strength, i have in that large body of mine, i might be beautiful but i am deadly. I was strikingly beautiful and strong for a mare.....
((Its getting boring only playing one mare))

{Millie}
The classic dun mare’s elegant, Polish Arabian body moved smoothly, neck arched and showing off the tones in her muscles, though she wasn’t showing off. Her ears pricked forward, tail held tall in the Arabian fashion, lifting her legs up high as she pranced. Other than the ‘primitive’ markings that marked her as a Dun, she had no markings. The leg barring, or ‘tiger stripes’, and a dorsal stripe, along with the less common primitive markings, ear barring, spider-webbed forehead, a lower face ‘mask’, and light ‘guard hairs’ on the edges of her mane and tail were her’s, yet no white marked her. Her dark, ashy black legs stepped forward bolding, muscles contracting as she moved forward. She had never been in better shape before, rising six, and she was full of energy and spirit. A rabbit lifted up into the air, bounding away a few feet to her right, and she pretending to shy, flaring her nostrils and arching her neck even more. Tossing her head high into the air and moving it in a tight circle, she exhaled loudly through her nostrils, eyes wide and bright, though not out of fear. Lowering her head, she sniffed at the wild grasses, slowing to a free-strided walk, ears forward again and gait long and flowing, effortless. She stopped, head down, as she inspected a gopher hole almost hidden beneath the weeds. She side-stepped away and past it. She had seen far too many horses fall as victims to a wolf because of broken legs, and she did not intend to be the next.
After a few more minutes of walking, she stopped. The valley widened and opened up here, and many other horses dotted the field. The smell of stallions and heat scents drifted, and she snorted quietly to herself. She was not in heat now, but she knew that some stallions would not care and would try to mount her anyway. It had happened before, and she still had a scar on her neck where one had taken a bite out of her as he tried to hold on. Millie did not like violence usually, but could and would fight if need be. Well, perhaps she would stay for a while. It was dangerous for a mare like herself to be out alone with no herd, no lead stallion, to protect her, and not all stallions could be rapists and forcers, right? And the grasses that grew here were plentiful, lush, full of nutrients, and her sensitive ears could pick up the delicate sound of a river flowing freely. Lifting her head again, her dark, intelligent eyes scanned the horses surrounding her. Only a stallion and a few mares were nearby, two of the mares at the stream, and no one seemed to be approaching her. Yet. Maybe, since she was not in heat and others clearly were, the stallions would leave her alone. Shaking her head slightly at flies, she dipped her head down, her jaw opening and closing as she grazed.

Re: King Arhtur comes for only the strongest and bravest of mares that are docile
King Arthur~
Hearing a new mare aproach I nicker in reply to her hello. Taking a step in her direction I bow my head slightly then look at her. "Hello, my name is King Arthur." I say authentically. My deep voice rumbling down in my throat. Taking a deep breath I look around, pinning my ears and flaring my nose at Almond Joys actions. The fine red lining of my nostrils in a way acting like a warning besides my flattened ears. My patience was running thin with her. In a way, I wasnt sure if I would ever break the ice with her. I knew for sure though that I wouldn't want any of my foals to have that much attitude, though it was good it deffinately would blind them. Snorting softly I turn to two more new mares. Hmmm, the last two that had come in were as black as night, which suited them just right. Yes, all were beautiful, but the one that caught my eye the most was the newest one. Her dun colour stood out by far from the rest. Though, all were equally the same to me. None mattered just yet, and I hadn't even given thought to who I wanted in the herd.
Sighing again I turn away from everyone and walk away to stand under a huge oak tree. Since it was late fall most of its orange coloured leaves were resting on the ground. Looking at the various colours I seem to drift back in time when my eyes rest on the blood red colour of a leaf...What I came to see was the other stallions and a single mare that I rode with. My great King and his Knights riding the country side, bravely defending the big and little villages alike from thieves and other countries. Back then I had not a care in the world, our bright red emblem flag blazing out behind us as we moved on like a light in the blackest night. Every time we came upon a village we were always greeted by smiles and praise, the people surrounding us horses until we almost couldnt move, just trying to get to our noble riders who installed so much hope in the country. That was until one day my King died, never would I forget it. The stall keepers coming to my stall, so slow in their actions I remembered. Speaking to me softly for about an hour before slipping the rope halter with a gold silver buckle over my ears and leading me out of the gate. The whole palace had been there, royals and servants alike. Leading me out of the gate, I had been attentive, my muscular white body tense with pricked ears for all the commotion thinking that my most beloved rider was coming. But after a time my wisened brown eyes had come to rest on the elaborately decorated casket. The various coloured flowers resting on it and bending slightly in the wind. It was then I realized that the young boy who had been leading me had tears that streamed down his dirt smudged face. Lowering my muzzle I pressed it into him gently and nuzzled him with a low nicker before bringing my head back up. Smiling weakly the boy had reached up brushed my long heavy forlock out of my eyes and rubbed my forehead. His last words to me being, "Please come back Speranza Ardente..." With that he reached under my chin and pulled loose the rope, as it feel to the ground he slapped me hard across the rump. Lurching forward, my jumpy trot brought me to a stop a few feet away from him. Turning around I look at them all watching me, rearing up I let out a high pitched piercing niegh and striked out in the air as the halter came to what seemed a deafening thud on the ground. My hooves thundering away as it did, my silver mane and tail whipping back in the wind as I surged on....
Coming back to reality, I turn my lowered head only a fraction to look at the group of mares that had come to my call, whether by purpose or accident. Either way I was glad they had come, for I was happy that once again I could be living for something, and once again to be protecting something that I cared for. I decided I would wait a few days, spending my time watching each and everyone carefully. True, from what I could sense, each had such a good heart and character. Though some covered it by anger and unresolved problems, while others hid quietly in their silence acting like that alone could keep me from them. I knew none trusted me, but that didn't bother me for I wanted them to come to trust me on their own..not by some forced thing that they felt they needed to do. While thinking about all this the wind had started up in a cold breeze. Scattering the multi-coloured leaves all around my feet and swirling upward in a tunnel like funnel. Almost as if time slowed to me, I lift my brown eyes to look at the mares again. Their each and every uniquiness (sp) so beautiful to me. Several silver strands of my mane, forelock, and tail swirled into the air and brushed softly against my smooth white coloured coat causing my muscles to twitch from the ticklish feeling. Releasing my breath, its almost grey colour, reached up to the sky as I turned my head back around and stared at the grass covered ground. Each and every blade showing life and how they strived to survive even though the pending warning of fall would remind them harshly with the cold winds.

I turned my head toward Arthur, i smiled and closed my eyes... Day dreaming of my family when they were still alive, running through the meado with my brother and sister, my mother watching us...... My dream became a nightmare, i was dreaming about how my family died, fire burning through the forest and my brother getting riped apart by a evil stud, and my sister burned, my mother and fathers head cut off.... I breathed faster, kicking out my legs, and shuting my eyes tighter, making sounds as i dreamt, trying to open my eyes but i couldnt..... Still kicking and making sounds......
Flash~
I looked around at the horses down the slope, i growled and walked down slowly toward a little creek, lowering my massive had and dipping my muzzle in the cool, refreshing, crystal water, the water running down my neck.... I pulled my head up, watching the horses movements, turning my head seeing another mare up top of a hill, and snorting lashing out my tail and growling, my muscles moving under my coal black coat, glowing in the dark area i was in, my body showing strength and power in it, my eyes turning a light red an looking at the mare that was kicking and making nosies, watching too see if she was gonna do anything..... I never thought i would come toward a punsh of mares and only one stud, these mares think there all that, i snorted and looked at the mare, that had a dark brown coat and black mane, pinning my ears back and lowering my head down alittle showing her i was not affraid.... She looked like trouble ready to happen, if she would of jumped at one of these mares for no reason, you can believe i would jump in and stop it, one way or another......

I watched the other mares carefully, most were acting childish, fighting between each, other....I wandered around before looking from horse to horse. I looked at the stud and smiled. Before lowering my head and grazing, I flicked my ears around listening to other horses. I delved deep into my memories, remembering my past....
I had been born in at a breeding farm, my dad was an old war horse, they had retired him for stud and, my mother a draught horse from the mainlands. When I was 1 year old they sold me onto another farmer and he kept me and worked me until that night......my handler was locking up the cattle and horses in the barn for the night, there was an almighty bang and people were screaming. I reared and thrashed my long legs in the air.
The farm was under attack again, the bandits wanted us. By us I mean the cows, sheep and horses. They herded us away from the farm, all I could see was the burning shell of the farm....
As I returned to the present a single tear trickled down my cheek, I looked again the other horses....I would wait for one of them to approach me before I said anything..

I turned my head seeing another mare, and rolling my eyes deciding too come out in the open.... I steped forward and now was in the little clearing, standing tall and holding my head high, looking at the stud and smiling small then at the others, "Hello, the names flash "i said and watched their movements waiting for one to answer.
Vertiea~
I stoped and woke up hearing a new horse, rasing my head and seeing a new mare, getting up and walking slowly toward her, dipping my head in greetings " Hello, Flash, im Vertiea nce to meet you " i said and dipped my head and looked at the large mare, never seen one this large and muscular before.

I looked down at her, eyeing her with my light red eyes, dipping my head " hello, nice too me you Vertiea " i looked at the stud, lashing my tail out and walking slowly over to him, i nickeredtoo him and looked at him, " Hello, im Flash " i said, i was strikingly beautiful and strong for a mare of my colorss, my coal black body moving with my muscles they moved in a strong and sexy motion like always, i smiled and lowered my head too the earth, munching on the bladed grass that lied on the earth floor, My mane falling like a waterfall over my eyes.

{Millie}
Out of the corner or her eyes, the dun mare caught sight of movement, ears flicking towards a slight rustle in the leaves, lifting her head up, ears pricked as she turned her head towards the sound curiously. A stallion stood a short ways away from her, and he spoke as he looked at her, introducing himself. Millie dipped her head in a nod, smiling slightly, though her eyes betrayed, showing mistrust and suspicion, though curiosity as to who this stallion truly was. He had not lunged at her, looking for a fight or pleasure, but had spoken kindly and made no more moves towards her. His voice had been gruff, but almost comforting, in a way. "Mil oir," she replied, her voice accented slightly in something between Irish and English, her voice meaning honey gold in Irish for her rich, shimmering coat colour. "Just Millie," she added, her voice softer, smoother as she said this. Her gaze followed his as he looked at the other mares, looking closely at them. She wanted no trouble here; although she was spirited, often described as high-strung, she was mature, especially for her age, being a youn mare. She shook her head slightly as a bee buzzed dangerously close, shooing it away and looking back to the mares. Some looked rough in the way they carried themselves, as if they were looking for a fight, and Millie looked away quickly. She didn't want to be caught staring. She flicked her tail, ears forward again, and took a half-step towards he stallion, hesitating. A slight, internal tremor of shyness ran through her body, causing her to pause, foreleg extended in front of her. She was normally shy at first, but once she got to know someone, she begins to open up and trust, though trust had always been a bit more difficult for her than other things, though she was quick to find and admit, then try to fix or conquer, her weaknesses, and saw her shyness as something to be controlled. So pushing the thought of being a misfit from her mind, she stepped forward again, this time not hesitating in her flowing stride, though her heartbeat sped up, racing against itself with each and every step closer. Was this really a good idea? What if his kind words had merely been a show for her, a false pretense? She saw another mare, a coal black, come from the trees and approach him, and again she had her doubts. Too late to run away now, she decided.
Millie found herself studying his coloring, the lines in his coat that showed the tones of he muscles lying just beneath the skin. His colour seemed familiar, and she was sure she had heard a name like his somewhere, though the memories eluded her. Perhaps it was just her imagination of the name, and she had seen many whites and greys before in her life, so it wasn't as if his colour was all that new to her. As she came closer, her mind seemed to go blank, the words she had wanted to speak disappearing, leaving no trace behind for her to pick up on and follow, and she stopped a stride or two away from him. Her tail lowered slightl, ears flicking back, though not in a threatening way. Now what? "Hello," she said, the first word popping into her mind, and she instanty wanted to takethe dorky greeting back. Just 'helllo'? What was wrong with her? Her voice trembled slightly in excitement of talking to a new horse, and she hoped he didn't notice, her muscles twitching at the slightest touch of her own mane and tail or from flies.

Re: King Arhtur comes for only the strongest and bravest of mares that are docile
King Arthur~
Seeing Flair, (sorry I couldn't remember if she was black or not lol so even though he doesnt know her name I just used it), just standing there I lift my head and turn in her direction. Walking freely I close the distance between us and nod my hello to Flash as I keep walking to Flair. Stopping a few feet from her I touch my head to my broad chest , some strands of my silver forelock falling into the wind. Bringing my head up I study her, my deep brown eyes kind and gentle. "Hello, my name is King Arthur." A lop sided grin accompanied the words. Flicking my tail I turn my head slightly to the left to look at the other mares. A rumbling chuckle came out seeing how most of them were quite fiesty, but that was okay. Meant that they would do good on the battle ground.
I knew that when I got back to the Castle I would become the new King's steed. Taking me out to battles and other things such as that. But then it also meant they would cloak me heavily, for no one could know my identity for a whole another year. Sighing I shake my head and snort, sending my forelock and mane flying and landing back back on my strong neck in tangles. Tossing my muzzle up and down quickly, snorting again. Turning back to Flair I smile "Follow me?" I ask gently as I turn back the way I had come. Just realizing I had left Millie hanging, I hoped she wouldn't take me as being rude. Walking slowly back I sigh and turn my head again only slightly to look at the other mares as I return to the beautiful dun coloured one. Stopping I rise up into the air and paw at the wind with a loud high pitched scream. Ears slightly pinned I come back down with a dull thud and toss my head, my silver tail lashing out behind me like a anger driven whip. No, I was not angry..lets just say a little spirit driven. Ears pricking momentarily I arch my neck and take a few prancing steps forward before unarching my neck and throwing myself into a powerful buck. Lashing out with a hind leg viciously to kick at an imaginary foe.
Now grinning I pick my pace up to a smooth canter that held almost a prancing look to it. My mane whipped away from my neck and my tail flagged behind me like a banner. Snaking my head out I toss it then bring it back into an arching position and begin to circle the mares. First driving Flair infront of me then getting Millie too. Pushing them towards the other mares. It was time for my decision...

Yeah, that's what it looked like, I just wanted to know because I've found that in posts where people just post randomnly, if, like two or three people are on at once and others aren't, then those who are on keep posting and others get lost in what's going on and what to say.

( Yeah, I on most days, but college usually takes all my energy, so some times my post might lack a little substanence...)
Flair ~ I raised my head and followed him to the other mares, looking at them. Maybe I was not as lively as these mares all the times, but I could definatly hold my own in a fight. I snorted looking at the others and proceeded to introduce my self... " My name is Flair..." I flicked my long forelock out of my eyes and scratched my head against my leg...my body was as black as the night...

Joy`s Mustang blood boiled with hate she was herded along with the others into a small circle as if they were going to be chosen. With a wild bellow she looks down upon the hoofed beasts that surrounded her.Occasionally she snapped at the mares surrounding her,due to lack of personal space."Back off!" Joy roared, wrenching forward and lashing her hooves out at the ivory stud, "Leave me alone"She bellowed once more, forcing the horse away from her with furious snaps and bites.
Perhaps it was her stubbornness that caused Almond Joy to react this way.She wouldn't be labeled as a prize or just about anything else. She trembled with contained fury, just waiting for the right moment to lash out again. With sheer disgust the mare reared, churning the air with her maroon colored forelegs,as if to get away from the tight circle that enclosed her.
(Sorry I haven't posted in a while. So busy with school!)

Flash~
I growled at the mare that was kicking and snapping her maw at us and the stud, roaring and snapping back at her..... " Keep on, and ur gonna wish u have never done that " i growled and stood my ground before her, she thinks shes so strong and evil, well she has another thing commin her way, and it doesnt look so good either..... I growled deep inside my throut glaring at the mare, my coal black coat glowed with strength that builded up inside that body of mine..... Sneering at her then whiping my head back toward Arthur, " U may preceed." I said watching the mare from the corner of my eye..... Making sure she didnt do anything.....
Vertiea~
I roared rearing and sticking out at an unknown enemy of mine and then landing with a dull thud, " Watch where your kicking, you wont like where my hoove will end up ", she kicks out again, my hoove will go up her a** around the corner, through a tree and right back (lol). I growled and waited for what he was gonna say.

{Millie}
Flicking my ears back, I lift my head slightly, arching my eyebrows as he left. Snorting a bit louder than I meant to, I turn away, swishing my black tail behind me as I walked a bit in the opposite direction, holding my head indignantly, feeling bruised but not letting it show. Stopping, I struck the ground slightly with my foreleg, pawing at the red and orange-coloured leaves, pricking my ears forward again when I quit. Shaking my mane, I lower my head to the ground, flaring my nostrils to smell the green grass I had uncovered, but not grazing, just examining the long blades. Snorting a bit louder than I meant to, I lifted my head, a rustle moving a few bushes on the edges of the forest, and I turned my head to look that way, though all I could see and hear were birds. Flaring my nostrils, I lost interest, dropping my head again and pulling up a few mouthfulls of grass, letting the pieces fall from the corners of my mouth. Out of the corner of my eye, I see the same stallion beginning moving my way a few minutes later, tossing my head up and throwing my mane back. Eyeing him carefully, I let out a soft whicker, side-stepping slightly, nostrils widening to show the fine red lining inside. He stopped suddenly and reared, letting out a high-pitched scream that laced through the air. Instantly my ears flattened tight against my skull and my body tensed, lips pulling back from my teeth as I side-stepped more away. He landed and bucked, kicking out and I flicked my tail, exhaling loudly as he moved closer to me. I felt my heartbeat speed up, but not from fear, but anticipation. I didn't want to fight, but if did anything I would. He came towards me, cantering now, and I let out a soft squeal, striking out straight at his shoulder with a hind leg when he came close enough, spinning around to face him, backing slightly as he came closer. Tucking my nose to my chest before throwing it straight up into the air, I turn sharply on my heels, lunging forward away from him, shaking my head angrily as my temper flared, eyes showing my rising fury. I snaked my head through the air, rolling my eyes in anger as the stallion forced me and the other mares into a bunch so tightly that our bodies brushed against each others. Letting out another squeal as a mare's hoof scraped across my ribcage, leaving a shallow scratch that began to bleed lightly, I lifted my upper body up into the ground in a half-rear, throwing my weight forward and leaping away from the other mares so I was on the outside of the circle, a few feet away from the others as I turned toward the stallion, ears laced flat against my head and tail lashing behind me, eyes full of fury. I let no horses, be they mares or stallions, force me into a tight bunch with others. I'd had too much of that as a yearling when the humans had rounded us up, and now I refused to let myself be crowded closely, stuck between others.

Re: King Arhtur comes for only the strongest and bravest of mares that are docile
King Arthur~
My white strong body moved with ease and covered the ground between me and Millie in a matter of seconds. Instantly my ears laid flat against my thick skull and my nostrils flared when she kicks at me. Tilting my muzzle slightly away I bare my teeth then nip her promptly on the rump, firm enough to get a message acrossed. Letting out another ear piercing scream I throw a strong forleg out and strike the ground, sort of like the way lightning would reek its vengance upon the ground. Shaking my head from side to side, the whites of my eyes showed as I finally got Flair and Millie to the rest. Squealing loudly I toss my head and bare my teeth at Almond Joy when she flips out. Rearing up I strike out, my forelegs pawing the air,and my sharp hooves barely missing her. Though when I came back down gruffly I lunged forward and bit her shoulder just before I wheel away and charge through the tightened circle they had forced upon themselves. I had done nothing to make them circle, but their damned blind fear of untrust worthiness had. Snorting again I toss my head once again as I stand away from them and wait for them to calm down.
Narrowing my brown eyes I look at each one of them firmly before curling my lips back from my teeth, my ears still flat against my skull. "If there is anything I don't tolerate, its disrespect!" I spat, my eyes now glowing. "If you do not trust me enough, you can leave right now." The words I spoke hissed out from my clentched teeth as I again looked at each and every one of them. "I am not choosing yet, and I may not ever." I growled then sighed and slightly snorted as my ears came forward just a little bit. "If you cannot contain your anger now, you won't be able to ever." I stated dully as I turn around and walk away's away from them all. I had done this simply as a test. To see how they would react and if they could get together. Obviously all had failed except for Flair, from my view she had done well. Not once had I seen any ill movements from her.
Grunting quietly I stop and turn around after I had moved about a hundred feet from them and turned my gaze to Flair. Her black body gleamed as the suns waves of heat rays hit her. Slowly a small smile spread on my face, like the rest I would have to learn to contain my anger more. But, I had done no wrong. Just most automatically assumed I was going to jump them or something. Snorting softly I shake my head, my long silver forlock catching on the breeze and twirling and wrapping about my muzzle. Ah, well, they all were still good mares. And even though most still held a hate for me, besides Flash, Flair, and Vertiea anyway, I still was becoming protective of them. Yes, even though they were not my band yet.

I rolled my eyes at the other mares, there agression and mistrust had resulted in them being herded....they did not like being herded so they lashed out again. I was generally a calm horse, mainly because I knew that anger rarely gets you anywere, this did not mean I was weak, quite the opposite actually. I was Freisan and as such I was incredably strong for my size, compared to the larger draught breeds.
At my old home, I was a prized War horse in my small village, although they were a small settlement they had an impressive town guard, we had been congratulated by the old king many a time, for the bravery of our knights. If anything the fall of the town was due to there reliance on the cavalry, so when the bandits attack, they went for the stables and made sure they didn't get to us....
I looked around at the mares, I was only 4 and yet I had the maturity of someone twice my age, were as most of these mares were acting like yearlings. I stood there patiently and looked around aimlessly, before setting my eyes back upon the stud...I smiled back to him and pinned my ears back at the mustang mare that starting thrashing around.....I stepped closer to her, using my whole body to push her gently to the side, it would make her unstable if she continued to thrash around, and she may fall. I snorted gently, still showing little to no anger. " The more you thrash about, the more chance you have of injuring youself...he will not harm us..." I said softly..turning my gaze back to Arthur, I nodded.
