I look over and went behind some trees "They should be here any second now." I whisper to her when I look to the left I see some caribu up ahead I look back at Larka, "Come on" I say then rush out.

Larka ran after him her stride long and loping she laughed a little as the caribou started to run but they were faster and caught up to the herd quickly

Soon I was there I digged my claws in it's flesh when it was down trying to get up I pinned it down to bite it's neck making it die right away I picked it up and dragged it out of the way waiting for Larka.

Larka slowed down and padded over to Pride and sat down by the kill she looked at him, impressed "that was really good" she told him as she had watch him make the kill

"Thanks," He smiled "Come one" I dragged the caribou back to her den then began eating.

Larka lied down beside him, her side touching his and began to eat

I ate til I got full but now I was thirsty I start walking down to the stream when I get there I start drinking.

Larka sighed and stayed by the kill full and tired she curled up and put her tail over her nose as a cold breeze swept by she yawned and closed her eyes

As soon as I got back I saw her sleep I went over and curled up by her and closed my eyes falling into a deep sleep

Larka awakened slightly to see Pride beside her, she curled up by him and put her head on his neck and sighed happily falling back asleep

I sensed that she was by me and fell in a more happier, nicer, deep sleep

Larka awakened a few hours later and got up and stretched and yawned

When I sensed her soft fur wasn't around me I woke up I raced it all through my head I now knew I couldn't be without her love I stretched as I stretched I spoke, "Larka....would you...." I stoped right there as I was nervous "Larka would you......"

Larka looked at him and laughed as he kept repeating words "oh pride, just spit it out" she said

I walked beside her and sighed "Will you be my mate?" I sighed deeply
