Black & White Photos...or Memories..

Saphira entered an empty clearing with a full mind. She stopped at the edge of the tree line and stood still letting her black eyes ringed with white take in the grassy meadow settled in the first where no one knew it existed. The grass was long and wavy with wheat growing through out it and flowers sprouting randomly. Some trees hunched over the grassy plain like shelterf from rain or shade from the hot sun. She took a deep breath as she entered fully, exspoing her burgendy coat to the sun. She stopped in the middle and lowered her head to the ground, her eyes searching for something..but found nothing. She knew the place was at beautiful as it was special even if she was color blind. As she continued staring out past any barior that tried to block her expert memory, the breeze gently tugged her black mane and caused her tail to twist around her legs. Saphira closed her disabled eyes as the breeze carried giggles to her furry ears and she smiled small remembering the time when she was born and how her mother stood over her lovingly and her father watching over her too. The time her sister was born and brother too. As she opened her eyes again she realized she was crying but as she stared longer around her, the place seemed to turn dark and eerie as her mind was blasted with terrible memories. Blood everywhere as she rememebered cowing In the bushes as he father tried to fight off the wolf pack that torn her family literally apart. When the beasts left, she went to look over her family but they were all dead and torn. She found herself glancing around nervously before the memory stoarted again. It was raining and she remembered cringing and screaming as the rain washed last her soaked with blood from her dead family. That's when she ran. Opening her eyes timescale the terrible nightmare of a night, she was sobbing. Why had she returned to such a place knowing the memories it brought back? Saphira sighed and laid down in the exact spot her mother gave birth to her and all her siblings and cried relentlessly staring out at the black and white pasture of her past.
