For thousands of years the Races have all lived together in solitary peace. The ignorant and arrogant Humans sticking to their own kind, the Elves staying in their forest mountain homes, the Vampires and Werewolves still as inconspicuous as always…
But that’s all changing.
Word traveled fast that a Dragon egg, the first in centuries, has been found. All the Races, excluding the Humans, want to control the Dragon who is born, use him or her to fight for them so their own race can rise to the top and conquer. The Elves only want to remain the peace they have had since the last Great War of the Races. And word has slipped out from the Fantasies to the Humans, and now everything is in chaos. No one wanted the Humans to be part of it, they found them, all too greedy, too ignorant, to be of any use. Yet word travels fast with the Humans, and now a good deal know about the other side.
The Werewolves and Vampires have always hated the Elves with a bitter loathing, and now it looks as though the world is going to become the latest battle ground for the next battle, and all the Breeds, even normal Humans and Animals, find that they are being pulled once more into the tangle of hate and war…
