The Renegade brings his herd

[Faye]

The Renegade~
I ran at a steady lope across the acres of land before me.Then I stopped suddenly raising my elegant head.Just ahead of us was a nice pond and some vegetation growing near.I inhaled the scent of other horses.They were near but on a different part of the land.I lowered my head and snaked it toward Pirate daring him to misbehave now.It was warning to him since he usually misbehaved at bad times.I cautiously walked toward the pond.I lowered my head sniffing the water.It smelled safe so I motioned the others forward.I was the first to drink though.

Pirate~

I canter in after The Renegade, a little tired because I was young, even though I had good endurance. I toss my head and sidestep to the side when The Renegade snakes his head as a warning to me, exahling through my nostrils, ears pricked forward. I smelled other horses and looked around curiously, not seeing any. I shrug and prance over to the water. After The Renegade nods to us, I drink deeply, releaving the dry and parchness of my throat. I raise my dripping muzzle from the water and look around, ears pricked forward, my colt tail raised.

Desert Dancer~

I come in beside The Renegade, my head hald high. My beautiful coat shone with health in the sunlight, adn my reddish mane and tail blew to the side. I watch The Renegade. After he takes a drink I sip it slowly, and also decide its good. I look at the others and snort at New Moon, then go to ignoring im for now.

[Faye]

The Renegade~

I keep a wary eye on New Moon.Even though he was my son,I still wouldn`t trust him as far as I could throw him.I smelled the strange vegetation growing then sample it.It wasn`t too bad.But not too good either.There was very little grass here,no wonder the other horses moved to other parts.But I was content here.Seeing Dark Sunshine still standing .I trotted up to her I snaked my head toward her in a herding motion.I didn`t touch her but told her with that to get a move on.

Ledgendary Warcry: I watch our leader smell water checking to see if it was safe, then walk over to it slowly when he tells us its okay. I lower my head sniffing the water also then drink lifting my head up once in a while. I look around my grey mane and tail blowing in the wind, scaning the land around us for signs that there were any other horses besides us here.

Dark Sunshine: I stand looking around worriedly then see Renegane come up and trot over to the pond when he snakes his head toward me side steping slightly. I stop when I reach the edge and take a step into it lowering my head and drink eagerly. I look up after a while and walk over to a small patch of grass quietly then take a bit of it.

[Faye]

The Renegade~

I looked a bit farther.The others were making their way over.I was pleased to see all of them except for New Moon.An annoyed snort erupted from my nostrils.Then I reluctantly returned to Desert Dancer.I would deal with New Moon later.I watched Pirate`s moves.I stood close by him so he couldn`t get into any trouble.Hopefully.

Desert Dancer~

I raise my head as The Rengade comes over adn smile small. I look around at the other horses, then turn to see what Pirate was doing.

Pirate~

I toss my head and began exploring, my nose close to the ground like a tracking hound's. I sniff the desert grass adn taste it. I make a face and spit it back out, deciding I would find something better to eat. I wander a little farther and hear a weird buzzing sound coming from a bush. I move a little closer, ears pricked forward. Suddenly a snake burst from the bush, its mouth open to reveal gleaming fangs. I squeal in surprise adn turn around, kicking straight out at it, releaved when I didn't feel its teeth. I shake my coat fuzz of a mane and prick my ears forward, watching the snake warily as it slithered away.

[Faye]

The Renegade~

I gritted my teeth.My blood began to boil.I charged at Pirate.I snaked my head toward him my lips parted.I snapped at him herding him back toward Desert Dancer and the others.Pirate was lucky the snake didn`t bite him.I bite his rump digging my fangs in.It drew blood.But this would tell him not to mess with snakes.The snake could have bit him when he failed to kick the snake.

New Moon~
I hear my father and snarl Great what is his problem this time? I think to myself even though i could care less

White Chocolate~
I gallop in my gallop was almost like a high- step i slide to a stop and do a small rear flaring my nostrils i bob my head up and down

[Faye]

The Renegade~

I flash New Moon a nasty glare then turn my attention toward the mare that approached.
I walked up to her pinning my ears.I motioned Desert Dancer toward me.
I snapped at her back legs as she reared.Then I walked toward her face.

[Guest]

Pirate~

I wach them come in, ignoring the snake now, my ears pricked forward and nostrils dilated.

Desert Dancer~

I snort softly at New Moon and trot over to The Rengeade, waqtching the mare.

White Chocolate~
"What is wrong with you?! I was just playing! Is that a ****ing crime against you?!" I snap in anger i now hated him already

New Moon~
I growl and push my father away causing him to wabble then fall i snap at him savagely and examine the mares broken back legs, they were poorly shattered i snort and bring my head up to glare at Desert Dancer and The Renegade

Desert Dancer~

I snort at New Moon, pinning my ears at him as I trun to The Renegade, baring my teeth at New Moon.


Pirate~

I roll my eyes and stand behind The Renegade and Desert Dancer, out of the way. I see a butterfly and ignore them all, starting to chase it, tripping over my long colt legs.

New Moon~
I snort loudly and angrily and lick the blood off the pure white mares legs

White Chocolate~
I flinch at the pain in my legs and groan in pain but glaring at The Renegade and mumble curses under my breath

[Faye]

The Renegade~
I regained my balance before I fell.Savagely I charged at New Moon.He had one problem.It was keeping his muzzle out of other`s damn buisness.I tore the skin off of his shoulder.I hung between my jaws.This was New Moon`s last chance to retreat before he was dead.I had years of pratice about fighting.New Moon was never in a bachlor band.He didn`t learn from a band.He mostly followed the herd his whole life.

New Moon~
A nasty growl comes from my throat "That's it! Im GONE!!" I scream at him then throw the wounded mare onto my back and take her to healers peak kicking Renegade for the last time and then I'm gone

White Chocolate~
I lay limp ike i was dead but i just didn't want to move until i was healed

Desert Dancer~

I snort at New Moon, pinning my ears flat against my skull. I backed up slightly; it was The Renegade's fight. I knew how to fight, but I wouldn't get involved. Yet.

Pirate~

Ignoring the others as he chases the butterfly, oblivious to them.

[Faye]

The Renegade

I did not smile nor frown as he galloped away.I watched until he was no longer in sight.I nuzzle Desert Dancer.Then I see Pirate was gone.I winnie raising my head calling for him.I happy that the nusiance was gone,but upset that Pirate was gone.

[Guest]

~Desert Dancer~

I smile small at him and nuzzle him softly back. I look up and see Pirate is missing I snort and sigh, pawing at the ground slightly. He was always disappearing and getting into trouble.

~Pirate~

I raise my head as I hear a whinnie and whinne small back, not seeing them anymore. I swivel my ears, trying to catch a sound, but could hear nothing anymore I spin around but can't see them, nor the butterfly I had been chasing. I whinne, louder, starting to panic as I can't see my herd anymore, exhaling loudly through wide, dilated nostrils.

[Faye]

The Renegades~
I just walked back toward the others.Making sure the herd stayed together was the lead mare`s job.Not the stallion`s.The stallion`s job was to fight off rival stallions or predators and make sure they had a place to live with food and water.Both stallions and mares had other roles but those were the main ones.I lower my head at a patch of vegetation and grazed on it.

Pokey~
I see the lost foal and whinnie to him bobing my head to get his attention with a snort

~Pirate~

I whinnie again, rolling my eyes in fear.

~Desert Dancer~

I swivel my ears around, trying to catch a sound of Pirate. A few moments later I hear a whinnie and began to trot off, listening.

~Pirate~

I hear another horse and whinnie back, wondering who it was

~Desert Dancer~

I whinnie back adn trot a bit more, telling him to stay where he was. A few mometns later I found him and nipped him slightly, pinning my ears and snaking my head into teh air, scolding him. I trun to see the other horse and look at him, wondering who he was.
"Hello," I say

~Pirate~

I prick my ears at him and whinnie a greeting, standing by Desert Dancer.

[Faye]

The Renegade~
I looked back to where Desert Dancer was standing.She must have gone off in search of Pirate.I walked and stood by Dark Sunshine and Legendary Warcry.I rest my head on Warcrys withers,anxiously awaiting my mates return.

~Pokey~
I nicker playfully and trot down to Pirate with my bold curiousity i sniff his nose

Pirate~
I snort, my ears forward.

Desert Dancer~
I swivel my ears, watching him.
"Hello," I say again, watching him curiously.

[Faye]

The Renegade~

My eyes focused on the spot Desert Dancer had dissappeared.Desert Dancer had been gone for quite awile now.Because I was the leader I forbid myself to even think of going in search of her.If I left the herd would be a mess when I returned and maybe a stallion would have stolen the mares.I lifted my head from Legendary Warcry`s withers`s.I winnied hoping Desert Dancer would answer.That way I would know she was okay and had maybe found Pirate.
