Forgotten Risistance Empty Forgotten Risistance

Post by Guest Tue Dec 22, 2009 2:57 pm

*I walk in slowly. My hooves making little dust clouds puff up from under them. I whinnie to see if anyone was near. My mane, tail, and coat shone brightly in the sun full of health. My long thick mane falls just past a muscled shoulder. Tail swishing I continue to walk till I am standing on a cliff. My horn was not visible, so I appeared as a normal horse*

Hallows Eve~

I canter in, my wings flat against my black sides. I toss my head and stop, seeing the mareon the cliff. I rustle my wings and toss my head as I watch her, tehn slowly walk forward a few steps. I stop abruptly and paw at the earth, watching her still.

~Forgotten Resistance~

My ears go back, not in anger, just in trying to hear who was behind me. My long elegant grey/brown tail sweeps up behind my like a flag in the wind as the wind picks up. Little sparkling water droplets gently land on my slim body as the water from the celtic ocean hit the cliff below me. I rear up into the wind and whinnie wildly, fiercely. Coming down I take a glance at the one behind me, dilating my nose I could smell him. Standing there in an arabian pose, my forelock swept across my face and mane and tail billowing about me, I stare at him with fear.

Hallows Eve~

I whicker to the mare, tossing my head as the wind picks up. I rustle my wings, looking the mare over. My nostrils dilate as I take in her scent, and I paw at the ground.
"Hello," I say in a deep voice over the wind, taking a small step forward. I raise my tail and arch my neck as I watch her, my proud Araian head held high.

~Forgotten Resistance~

I dip my head down for a second, then look around. After that I also proceed to take a small step towards him, drawn by his voice. Nicker lowly to him. Throwing my head up a couple times, my eyes still held a wild look in them. "Hello.." My voice carrys out to him on the wind, whispering softly in his ear like wind in the trees. Though you barely saw my lips move, it was obvious it was I who had spoken.

HallowsEve~

I watch her and toss my head up, eyeing her over.
"I'm sorry; did you want to be alone?" I ask, looking past her to the Celtic Ocean.

~Forgotten Resistance~

My eyes fire darkly. "Thats all thats ever been for me. Always alone, no one to care. But I am not alone, not anymore." My voice had a slight echo to it and seemed faraway...distant. There was a softness to it at the end. Slowly over the years I had become more like the earth its self, and less social...since I was constantly alone. I had become one with the earth, I could understand it, talk to it. Weird as it maybe, but it is possible. "I was talking with Oceana, the ocean." My voice once again is carried to him softly and surely. Eyes still wild and fearful, body tense ready to snap like a dried up twig at any sudden unanounced movement. I dilate my nostrils once more and take in the musky scent of the large pegasus stallion, I blow the air out softly, slowly, as though I was afraid to lose it, but also afraid to know it. I paw the rocky surface of the earth, the stones rattling and grinding under my hooves.

Hallows Eve
~

I nod slighly as I look at her, realizing she had been in the company of only herself and the earth for so long that she understood it, was almost more like it than anything else. I watch her for a few moments as she pawed teh rocky ground, seeing her tense body, and lower my head slightly.
"What is your name?" I ask her quietly, ears pricked forward as I watched her.

~Forgotten Resistance~

I cease movement and it seems like everything stands still for a moment, until my clear voice broke through it. "Forgotten Resistance" I whistle softly, then look away back to the ocean. It rumbled and growled as it pounded on the cliffs below. I flick an ear feeling the vibrations that it was causing. Then the slight red color of the western sky caught my sight, and just for a second I look away from him to look at it. I look back to him, my eyes for the first time revealing the sadness and loneliness they hid so well before. Then I was gone, running up the side of the steep hill just to my right. Rocks and boulders falling in my wake as I scrambled to get up higher. I had remembered a old saying, "Red sky in the night, there comes delight, Red Sky in the morning, let there be warning..."

~Hallows Eve~

I canter after her, my long legs avoiding the falling rocks and boulders easily. I hold my head high, ears pricked forward as I flick my gaze from her to the western sky for an instant. It was tinged with different shades of red. I snort, mostly to myself, and swing my gaze back to Forgotten Resistance as she made her way up the rocky slope.

~Forgotten Resistance~

As I finally scramble to the top of the rocky cliff I look back behind me as I sigh. Though I was emensly surprised to see that he had followed me. Most would have just left.

[lol, after awhile I had forgotten this post, yesterday i was just bored and kept flicking through the site to find my lost posts...]

~Hallows Eve~

I slow and stop at the edge of the cliff's top, watching her. I listen to the crashing waves below, can smell the ocean breeze and feel the misty spray from the sea that raged below. I sighed and flick my tail, tossing out my mane. It rested easily upon my crest, and I raise my head once more, ears pricked forward as I gaze past her out to the sky.

Forgotten Resistance~

I turn and look out to sea also. A sudden movement out at sea catches my eyes...I stand there for a moment squinting slightly to catch what it was, then horror crossed my face as realization hit me. "We have to get out of here...NOW!" My voice whispered hoarsly then loud. For what my eyes saw was a huge tidal wave..a tycoon, coming our way. I knew that no matter how high we got we would never get out in time. All I knew is that we needed to run and we needed to do it now. Every second we wasted that thing got closer. I wheel around and take off at break neck speed. Racing away as fast as I could from the cliff's edge, knowing very well that the wave would wash up and over it.

~Hallows Eve~

I snort softly as I look out at the sea, looking for what she was gazing at. I see it and my eyes harden. In an instant I was rearing up, pivoting to the side. My legs gathered beneath me, muscles bunching up as I prepard to run. Then I was cantering over the ground, sliding down the rocky cliff's side, glancing behind me to see that she was right behind me.

Forgotten Resistance: My mane whips back and forth as I run right behind him, almost on his heels. My tail held high and waving behind me, I feel through my feet the earth preparing to take on the mega wave. And I do the same by focusing on getting away and ignoring the wave. I look at the racing stallion infront of me, appreciation filling me up. Never had someone actually stayed with me for more than a minute or two. I wasn't saying that he would stay, only that I would cherish these moments even though they might very well be my last.

~ Hallows Eve ~

I gallop in front of her, legs straining to carry me as far away from the cliff as possible. My feet touch the firm, grassy ground of the meadow below, and still I ran, looking behind me to see where Forgotten Resistance was and see how far away the cliff was. I snrot softly, shaking my maen and slwoly my stride slightly.

Forgotten Resistance~

I turn my head and look behind me, but still press onward. I turn my head back around and lengthen my stride, head lowered and ears flat against my head with mane whipping out behind me. I run past him and go as fast as I dared towards the forest. I snort loudly once I enter the forest and only slow down a little bit so that I could dodge inbetween the trees.

~ Hallows Eve~

I see her go on past me, lengthening my stride and lowering my head to chest level once more. I snort loudly, hooves digging into the ground and propelling me forward. My legs move faster as I catch up behind her, slowing slightly so I wouldn't pass too far ahead. Weaving between the dense trees of the forest, I was forced to slow my stride in order to not crash head on into the trees. I follow her as she flashed through the forest, bounding gracefully through the crowded trees.

Forgotten Resistance~

My ears swivel around, catching all the noises in the forest. As we come to the base of the mountain I was looking for I slow down even more and wait till he was by my side before I continue up it. "We should be safe up here." I say breathlessly (sp) as I dig my hooves into the side of the mountain and pull myself upward.
