Desert Flurry Challenges Leader

Desert Flurry reared, hooves striking down an imaginary foe. "Whoever is the leader here, care to defend your land?" he whinnies, echoing his call down the valley.

A mare watches him on top of a hill then gallops off.

[Guest]

"Flurry, I'm here!" I say, panting. "I just hope we have better luck here than last time"

I walk back trying not to be seen listening to them.

I catch a glimpse of a nother horse, hiding behind a ledge "Who are you?" I call, tensing

I am Morpheus and your on my mate and I's land.

[Guest]

"Well, yes. My mate is challenging the leader, who I guess must be your mate"

[Guest]

"Yes but I don't know if he wants to fight."

[Guest]

"The truth is..." I whisper so Flurry can't hear "I'm not sure I want him to fight for land, last time he nearly got killed. Of course, he was unprepared, the leader rushed him from nowhere, but I'm still worried."

"My mate is very kind I'll talk to him about letting you start a herd here but I have no say in whether you can or can't It's up to him."

[Guest]

"Ok, but I'mnot sure my mate will settle for that" I say glancing at Flurry "I'm fine with it though"

[Guest]

"I'll get my mate."

[Guest]

"That would be great." Flurry sighs. "We didn't have much luck trying to get a herd at Twilight's Lasting Moon. The leader wouldn't give me a fair fight. He just walked in and said 'I walk in and bash the stallion's skull, killing him.' Not a very nice chap... Just because I want a herd here doesn't mean I'm not willing to be rational about this." he explains. (Happy Easter! )

I nuzzle you "Yeah, I just hope the leader will be as sensible as you."

Flurry gets attacked by a lion and dies. "Noooo!" I cry then take his body to the cemetary.
