I blink, then see a faint rim of pink and gold on the horizon, the rain starts letting up. Quickly, I climb to the very top of the ridge, feeling the wind catching my black/gray mane and buffeting my jet black body. I watch as the sun struggles to creep upward in the sky, now the top of it is faintly visible.
