The 30 Year War || RP Idea
30 years ago, the war started.
Two weeks ago, it ended.
Now, the world is left in shambles, and no one is there to pick up the pieces…
Except for the few people still alive.

Except for the few people still alive.
The world used to run on magic: the mages were around to sing the songs of life, of healing, of weather and even of death. But in the war their magic was used up. And the few people left alive in the wake of the war were left without their guides. The rulers that had governed the planet for thousands upon thousands of years were now gone, and the people were left to lead themselves. But riots broke out, and miniature wars started, and killing was once again running rampant in the streets in the form of cutthroats and cutpurses.
The world was divided in two: the people that wanted the world to continue in its existence, and the people that wanted to destroy it. “Vultures” became the quickly adopted name for those who wished nothing but destruction on the world and the “people that were its problems.” The Vultures gladly accepted this title and shed blood in the name of their leader, Aris.
But on the other hand, there were people who would do anything to fight the slaughter of the Vultures. And that group…well, they preferred to remain Nameless. And so, they were. Nameless. Nameless’s leader was brilliant and wise beyond their years, being of a tender age as it was.
But in order to ensure peace, violence must first ensue. And violence is what the Vultures did best.
Basically: This plot takes place in a war-like “era” in a fantasy universe. There are two “teams” – the Vultures, and the Nameless. I plan on playing the Vultures leader, Aris (which is why the Nameless leader is currently…well, nameless) and someone else can choose to play the Nameless leader. This is a roleplay that will require multiple participants and those willing to do a more mature roleplay. It would be best for both parties to have an equal amount of players—for instance, if there are 3 Nameless, then there should be 3 Vultures. It is allowed to play more than one character, if you so desire. If you choose to be the Nameless leader, you can still choose to be another, non-leader in either the Nameless OR the Vulture “party.” You do not have to remain loyal to one side (meaning you can play 2 characters of different parties). The rules for this roleplay are lax in terms of plot; Vultures are loyal to themselves and only themselves, making for an interesting opening for disloyalty to Aris or any of the other Vultures – however, keep in mind that the fact that they are in Vultures clan means they likely are true to the cause and would NOT be likely to switch sides. However, it is completely fine if you have a character that you want to be in the Nameless party but act as though they are in the Vulture party – make sure you specify this when/if you make a character like this.
If you have any further questions leave them below, and I hope people are interested. :3
Re: The 30 Year War || RP Idea
A couple of questions - 1. Are the Nameless focused on stopping the Vultures thus acting mostly to sabotage their efforts of destruction, or are they more protective and are trying to protect those who found a place to live their lives thus acting as a guard, attempting to deal with Vulture raids or whatnot?
2. Do they have guns or are they at the sword&bow and maybe crossbow-ballista sort of time?

1 - The Nameless are focused, despite being centered around peace, are wanting to eradicate the Vultures completely.
2 - They have guns, however it is an apocalyptic roleplay and therefore they need to find the ammunition before they can actually use the guys, make sense? Otherwise more readily handmade weapons, like shanks, using knives, etc. etc.
