Jenna jumped to her paws when she saw a black dot forming through the trees. With her eyes trained on it, tail slightly wagging, she could just make out the faint brown glob of a deer. She smiled faintly and waited for him to drag it up to the cave mouth. She gave him room when he dropped it and she quickly went over to inspect her. Her ears twitched towards his voice as she sniffed the creature, taking note of her young age and all the wounds inflicted upon her by Moon. It was a decent kill. The doe was somewhat fatty from eating all summer and she didn't appear to be pregnant. For a moment, Jenne wondered why she hadn't been courted, but then shrugged her shoulders and lifted her head again. "She is just fine. Maybe when the storm passes, I'll go out." she told him, looking back at the sky as snowflakes started to fall. She bent down and took on of her ruined legs in her mouth and started to drag her into the cave. She shoved her in a back corner, leaving her untouched, and walked back over to Tilly. With a grunt, she settled down around her and stared out at Moon.

Moon

Moon smiled, and silently helped Jenna drag the doe to the back corner. Then he went opposite of her, and sat by the entrance of the cave. The snow was startling to fall a little faster now, but it would take a while for the full blown blizzard to start. Without even thinking about waking up the pup, he began to howl. The brute howled sorrowfully, and long, his howl as melancholy as his soul. His howl was also low and mellow. A kind of wail was traced in it. Moon didn't know why he was howling, he just howled.

Jenna jumped a little when Moon suddenly threw his head back and started to howl. Her ears flew backwards, pressed against the back of her head as she raised her upper lip into a slight snarl. What was he doing ? She glanced down at Tilly and watched her closely to see if she was disturbed by the howling. The young pup remained dead asleep upon the pallet, curled against her mother. She looked back up at moon, her ears picking up the various sounds within his lonesome howl. She frowned slightly as she heard the emotion within the sound and her eyes became somber. "I hope nothing is wrong with him.." she said aloud barely audible over his howl. Instinct took over and Jenna found herself suddenly tossing her head back and letting out howl with a higher note and a more feminine tone to it.

Moon
The brute almost didn't hear Jenna join in. He was to concentrated on his task at hand. Well, at least the task he had just figured out. He was trying to contact his parents. They lived somewhere over here, but he couldn't exactly remember where. He wasn't planning on seeing them, he just wanted to let them know he was okay. As he became continuously aware of Jenna's voice in with his own, a small smile curved into his maw. He hadn't howled with a another wolf in a long time. Moon also never dreamed that the next time he would be howling with a fae. Feeling like it was his job, at least a little bit, he started howling a little prettier. His sound was no longer sorrowful, but shallow, almost happy though.

Jenna closed her eyes as she continued to her howl, her lips curved into the infamous "o" that came along with the action native to her kind. Though his howl was at first sorrow, Jenna found her note also becoming sorrowful. Her throat suddenly began to burn with the need to cry. She refused to let the tears fall from her face, not now, not ever. She slowly let off of her note upon hearing the key change within his own. It suddenly sounded happier, lighter than before. A small smile tugged at her lips as she put more sound into her howl and lightened the mood with it.
