I turned, slapping Blaze lightly in the face with my tail. I giggled, and loped away.

I smiled, laying down beside her.

 I sighed happily, and eyes her wounds. I hoped she would be okay.

 I smiled, and licked her back. My green eyes shining bright.

Shadow watched as everyone left to go to Lily and Lichen, she stood up and walked towards the commotion but laid down when Lichen and Blaze began to argue. When she saw and heard that he had a mate she smiled a bit to herself glad that he wasn't alone in the pack. When everything calmed down she watched as they all began to either play and lay down with each other.

Durnal sighed and leaped out of the tree, padding towards the river. Smiling as he saw Shadow, he nudged her shoulder softly. "Hey." He greeted.

 I looked up and saw Heilos in the distance. I sighed, and pawed Genocide playfully.

 I yelped when I looked back, and I ran even faster.

Durnal sighed and leaped out of the tree, padding towards the river. Smiling as he saw Shadow, he nudged her shoulder softly. "Hey." He greeted.

Shadow lifted her head and looked at him for a moment then nodded her head slightly "Hello, Durnal." She stood up and shook her pelt out before sitting and watching everyone that was in the small clearing "A lot has changed."

Durnal nodded. "I agree. Sometimes I miss where the pack wasn't so huge." Durnal told her, sighing softly. "I don't know if I can do this. My own daughter hates me, the pack is stubborn as hell, and I've almost gotten myself killed more than once in less that two weeks." Durnal grumbled.

Nothing much. Durnal left Bliss so she had time to think and now he's talking to Shadow. Layla's still with Pelican. xD

[Shadow-Walker]

Shadow watched him and let him explain what has happened recently then looked around at the other wolves before looking at him "You are an Alpha Durnal, and with that title comes many responsibilities that you do not think of as they are." She sat down and sighed a bit "And as for your daughter, she is a young wolf trying to grow up in a large pack, If you give her some time to herself or spend more time with her she will come to love you as her alpha and her father."

Durnal sighed. "I know. But I'm not a perfect wolf. Nobody is. But I'm trying my best with Bliss, and I barely know where me and Pelican are at. Our relationship... Its complicated. And not easy at all. But I try... And I always end up doing the stupidest things. Like trying to commit suicide." Durnal replied, sighing softly. He looked at Shadow with his emerald orbs, "You are maybe the one wolf that will actually listen to me. Blaze might, but he doesn't understand a complicated relationship, or running a pack. You are the one wolf I could think of talking to." Durnal added, giving her ear a soft but tender lick.

"Your relationship is going to be complicated, Your both leaders of a very large pack, i believe the largest in the area at the moment. It's going to be stressful." Shadow gave a soft smile to him and nodded a thank you when he licked her ear "y parents were both alphas, i know how it is being the runt of a medium sized pack and no one to pay attention to you"

Durnal nodded. "But even before it was complicated. And with Pelican's former mate here, it makes me feel a bit insecure. A bit jealous in fact. But the pack is huge, I'll admit." Durnal replied, laying down with a huff of stress. "You aren't that small. You are actually only a couple inches shorter than Pelican." Durnal told her. "I missed you, after you were kicked out."

"Then tell her that you don't like him being here. Anyways why is her former mate here?" she watched him lay down and nodded a bit "To tell you the truth i only snapped because i was a bit jealous also, i was happy helping to take care of the pups and then when she came back i hid again, and i grew jealous."
