Lichen smiled, he was glad she was in a better mood now.

Lilly sighed and nuzzled his neck. "I'll do my best with pups."

"I'll do my best also..." I said happily.

Lilly laid down and lapped up more water to calm herself down a bit, "Thanks."

"For what?" I asked, smiling. I licked the top of her head gently.

"For saying you'll do your best."

"Well, it's kinda required." He said with a smirk. Then he looked at her, his eyes bright," Would you like to see my old camp now? You already crossed the boundary of our territory, but you probably didn't notice because the scent is worn away..."

"Sure." Lilly answered, rising to her paws.

Lichen smiled, and slowly started through the dense trees. The foliage soon grew even thicker, but Lichen used an old scout trail. After around ten minutes, and three miles. The two arrives at a glittering lake.

(GTG for a bit...)

Lilly was amazed by the beautiful sight, her body pressed against Lichen's. Her icy silver-blue gaze searched his dark brown.

Lichen smiled, and gently licked her head. "Camp's this way..." he mumbled. He walked slowly down a slight hill, still taking the overgrown trail. They soon arrived on the rocky shore, and Lichen led her to dugout on the shore. Taking the worn steps down he stopped and looked at his old home. Everything looked the same. Water trickled down the edge of the dugout, and formed a pool in the middle of camp. A large rock rose out of the middle of the pool of water. That was Lichen's spot... Then all around the rock were opening that looked like caves, except they were dens. The biggest was ten feet off the ground, and you had to climb a trail in the rock to get to it. That was Lichen's and Juliet's old den. Lichen sighed happily.

Lilly looked around the entire camp, gasping with excitement. Splashing around in the little pool, she laid down and began to roll around in the water, laughing softly. Lilly sat up and ran towards Lichen. She launched into the air, pinning him to the ground before licking his face rapidly. "This is beautiful."

I watched Lilly, grinning in amazement. She looked so happy. I wanted to join her, but I stood where I was. When I saw her running toward me, I relaxed, and allowed her to pin me.  I laughed as she began licking me, and then looked up at her," I know, it is. My birth camp is on the other side of the lake, below water. This was Juliet's birth camp. I love it here..."

Lilly smiled and kept him pinned, her tail wagging softly. "Well, I love it here too. It's so pretty." Lilly said, laying down on top of him.

I smiled, "I thought you would... It's just, home" I said, grunting as she laid on me. I tapped her nose playfully with my own.

Lilly smiled and laid her chin on his chest, her eyes searching his. "You miss it here don't you?" Lilly asked.

He smiled, and licked the crown of her head. He looked at her surprised, when she asked him that question. "Yes, I do..."

Lilly nodded, and sighed. "I can't blame you. This place is great." Lilly said, licking his chin.

Lichen nodded,"Yes it's great... But no place is perfect without you..." He smiled, and gently bit her muzzle.

Lilly smiled brightly, her eyes loving. Leaning her head back down, she sighed happily.

Layla growled, clawing at a tree. She hated being ignored by everyone. Layla sighed, and padded up to Kapu, nudging him.

Lichen smiled, and laid his head back. He listened to the water trickling down the rock wall.

Kapu looked up, and smiled at Layla. "Hey!"

Layla was about to say something, but was interrupted by a brute their age making fun of Kapu. Layla snarled and stepped towards the young brute known as Jericho. "Awe, is Little Layla going to nip me?" He sneered. Layla snarled and tripped him to his paws in a quick motion, watching him get back up. Sidestepping his attack, she bashed into him, sliding under his belly and kicking him in the stomach. When Jericho tried to step on her face, she snapped her jaws around his foot and swung him into the air, launching herself up with him, grabbing him by the scruff and shaking wildly before throwing him away like a ragdoll. "Asshole." Layla spat.

Lilly smiled and also listened, also hearing birds chirp.

Kapu smiled at Layla,"Good job... but I really could have handled it myself..." He said a bit annoyed.

Layla huffed, and growled. "You could have. But for once I thought I'd show that I care. Besides, I know what emotional pain feels like." Layla growled, turning away from him.

Kapu looked down, "Hey... thanks anyway! That was really cool how you tossed him into the air!" he said, trotting along side her.
