Mia was having the same dream as in the train and slowly started whimpering "Dodger...Dodger..."

Dodger nudged Mia's cheek. "Hey, I'm right here. Everything's okay now."

Mia's head shot up as he nudged her. Then tears whelled up in her eyes again as she buried her face in his neck fur "Oh Dodger...it was terrible...I was so scared..."

Dodger shushed her softly, putting a paw on her back. "You're safe with me. I promise." Dodger told her, licking her neck.

Her back tingled under his paw, but she kept her face pressed in his chest. She nodded at his words and whispered "I know"

Dodger licked her neck for a while longer before lifting his head. "I swear on my life I will protect you." Dodger promised, lifting one paw.

Mia pulled her face away from his chest and smiled "I know you will, I trust you." She said, licking the side of his muzzle.

Dodger smiled charmingly. But he was confused about one thing. Did Mia love him?

Mia smiled back and asked herself can I love him?

Dodger grabbed her a turkey and smiled nervously.

Mia nodded her thanks and ripped a leg off. Then she asked "Dodger...do you l...lo" she couldn't finished the sentence for some reason.

"What is it?" Dodger asked, flicking an ear.

[Guest]

"Do you like...like LIKE me?" she mumbled, slightly afraid of his answer.

"Yes, of course I do." Dodger replied, not sure what she meant by LIKE.

Mia nodded, slightly embarrased to ask him if he loved her. So instead she pressed her face into his chest again, enjoying its warmth.

"Hey, what's wrong?" Dodger asked, lifting her head up so their eyes met.

[Guest]

Mia smiled lightly and said "Nothing, nothing at all."
